Quanzhi Fashi have satisfying story line. I can't understand Chinese language then watched it with sub so i won't give a f*ck to art and animation.
In fact they almost just buried season 2 story in back there. Mc goes to city awakes second magic. Then story starts...
Romance punchlines was fine. MC just train his magic whole time and gets stronger then fights upcoming enemies.
f*ck animation of this series. It's very poor. But in near future they'll fix it.
sound was fine whatever.
Character development is almost key of this anime. MC gets more ultimate.
He hides his true
skills on social just uses them as trump carts. That's cool and satisfying. I enjoyed this university arc.
There's a lot great manhwa and manhuas are coming. In near future Korea and Chinese will stand versuss Japanese anime. So i won't give glue on animation. They' ll develop it month by month.
As an avid lover of the web novel Quan Zhi Fa Shi (全职法师), mere words cannot express how disappointed I am with the animated ONA version. The only reason I am trying to enjoy the 3rd season is because I like the 1st and 2nd season that got me into the series and because i fell in love with the novel.
In the anime(ONA), everything from the animation, sound effect, music, plot pacing, and character interaction is of generic quality. It was like someone took a shit and tried to mold an anime out of it. What am i trying to say is the anime does
not do the masterpiece of a novel that is 全职法师 any justice. Although it is extreme analogy, the ONA did made what was an excellent source material into a less than mediocre anime. It seems low budget and lack of staff members is the source of the problem.
The web novel 全职法师, containing 2456 chapters, is an absolute masterpiece.
There are many things i love about 全职法师:
-very capable minded, savagely funny protagonist
-interesting fights and character interactions
-the world building
-very detailed depiction of how political and full of scheme a society that revolves around power, money, and social status can be
-every story arc is interesting and meaningful. some even has unexpected plot twist
If there is one questionable thing i must say about the entire novel plot, it would be the beginning. The protagonist wakes up in the world in a world where magic and monster exist. The high school follows magic has its core curriculum. He was pretty much given a cheat ability of being born a double element mage and has a special spiral necklace, which helps him "level up" like a madman.
In this season, the protagonist moves to the city, famous for being one of the centers of the magic world. He continues to shows off, hiding his power until the last minute, increase his wealth and power. There are tournament arcs, new members of his tsundere harem. It was a pretty entertaining arc to read but again disappointing to watch because of the production quality, lack of pacing, and skipping of some funny moments.
As much as I don't want to be the ones that tell you "the manga (or in this case, the web novel) is better," the meme holds very true for this series.
The web novel doesn't actually get good until the beginning of this season (chapter 121 of the translated version called Versatile Mage), so I recommend you watch season 1 and 2 of the anime before reading the novel.
Unfortunately, the series is still being translated by an unknown author by the name of itsTofu from Gravity Tales translations. As of 11/13/2018, only 227 of the 2456 chapters has been translated. He translates 1 chapter per day. If you like the first 2 seasons of Quanzhi Fashi, I strongly urge you to read the novel and watch the anime only for fun.
Hello shitshow my old friend, ive come to flame you again
Well.... not really a shitshow. Honestly this show is pretty fun if you like OP MCs. Chinese op mcs are basically all the same power trip fantasy where some poor schmuck gets bigger, stronger, wealthier, and more respect than anyone else through the virtue of his effort. There was a lot of hate for season 2 of this show understandably (although I dont think it is as bad as everyone said, but granted I have yet to read the source material so...) but just to start the review on a weird point.... I actually have
no idea how the entire bo city invasion arc really ended... At the end of season two the general hadn't killed the winged wold and in season 3 they just kinda gloss over it. People escaped the city, that's about it. But hey its not like this show has ever been consistent so FUCK THAT we have more SCHOOL TRAINIING ARCSSSS.
HYPE. Our OP mother fucker is back and this time he is getting more random rare op shit that will make him stronger because he maxed out his luck stat. Even more of students ridiculing him and then eating shit because he got that big dick energy. The animation has gotten better than earlier seasons and the art is a little better than season 1 as well. The magic looks great as usual and I THINK they changed mo fans VA but I honestly cant tell cause I DONT SPEAK CHINESE. Which is honestly the worst thing ever because almost all the subs for this show I can find are google translates that are almost impossible to figure out WTF is going on. That being said thusfar in the show, its looking pretty fun if ur into the wuxia shit.
If you liked S1 ur gonna like this, similar in style but better animation.
