I'll just say upfront that the target demographic for this show is 11-14 year olds, and it does not stray outside of that at all. I personally do not belong to this demographic, and as such I found especially the comedic portions of the show to be unwatchable. To give you an idea of the kind of jokes the show uses, one of the best jokes in the series is when a bird which is meant to help the hero escape danger actually grabs his balls instead of say his hand when he tries to fly away. If that made you chuckle give the show ... a go. If not avoid it. I've heard that in the original chinese its quite good, and that a lot is lost in translation. I honestly doubt it, but if so than the ability of the translaters to make me not care about the characters at all, to destory any sort of worldbuilding, nuance, consistent (or good for that matter) fight scenes, etc, should be commended. The voice acting sucks, the music is fine, the animation is pretty cool, but thats it.

I have no idea what season 2 is about, but this feels like a ten-episode prologue for what's to come. To give you an idea of what to expect, this feels like One-Punch Man for 10-year-olds but with an incompetent, amnesiac assassin rather than superheroes and monsters. The music is literally the same in every episode. The humor is amusing at first, but it gets really annoying after the second episode.
Personal recommendation: if you're barely interested in watching it, at least do so with any dub you understand and play it while multi-tasking on 1.2 or 1.5 speed. That's what I did. You won't be ... wasting so much time if you do so. But if that still doesn't sound good to you, feel free to skip this show entirely.
