17-year-old Ichirou Satou is an average teenager who always happens to find himself in perverted situations with his teacher, Kana Kojima. Follow this erotic love comedy about their mishaps throughout their daily lives and how Ichirou and Kana choose to handle them.
Who hasn’t fantasized about sleeping with their teacher while they were in high-school or college? If a teenage boy is successful in his endeavor, he might think of it as a dream come true. The idea of a male student making a move on his high school teacher is not an old idea. The concept has been immortalized in books, magazines, films, and songs. This is a very real thought for teenage boys.
Most of us can relate to the idea of shacking up with the hot teacher in our school. Most of the time, the idea of getting that hot teacher into our beds never
leaves our head—it takes a lot of courage to ask anybody out, let alone a more experienced person. If that thought becomes verbalized, there’s a very likely chance that we would be shot down. Some examples of verbalizing the intent include asking a teacher on a date, or to prom. But…what if we would be successful in getting our teacher to hook up with us, just like we dreamed about? Oh, how awesome it would be, right? Who wouldn’t be curious to wonder what that “yes” answer entailed? Well boys and teachers, here are an anime like that, in Nande Koko ni Sensei ga!? (Why the hell are you here, Teacher!?).
This is the perfect anime to those that have ever had this fantasy. And you get a bonus because the teachers are more or less making the moves on the students here. The is an absurdist comedy where it is pretty much hentai, or close to it—each episode is heavily censored so if you’re coming in for some spank bank material, look for the uncensored or go somewhere else because the censoring here will cuck you. The “plot” is pretty much the premise for every porno scene ever. Each of the male protagonists is always finding themselves in situations where the teacher just happens to be next to them, whether they are at home, out and about in the city, or on a trip. The point is to set up both the student and the teacher together in awkward and perverted situations, which leads to outrageous, ridiculous, yet hilarious fanservice and punches.
If you’re looking for anything more than that, you’re in the wrong place. This show has one goal and achieves it in glorious fashion. It doesn't have to be internally consistent. It's an absurd risqué romp comedy. Its entire purpose is to make you laugh and fulfill some fantasies. It doesn't matter what happens before that as long as the end result is the student and teacher get together. There is also a sadistic nature to the humor. The ecchi beats are NSFW and the teachers in this series are smoking hot. There are four in total, all looking distinctively different and few quirky traits, so there is something for everyone. In addition, the male protagonist (also four in total) are the luckiest bastards alive, and are memento characters for any fellow comrade (from the audience) who achieved GOAT status!
I have never heard about tear-studio before, but boy, did they do an amazing job in adapting and delivering this trashy yet masterful ecchi series from author Soborou’s manga of the same name. Character designs for our teachers are top tier, all busty bombshells that have the appearance to match their personality. Kana Kojima is a Japanese language teacher, the fierce type on the outside but she’s actually shy and clumsy. She has 89cm bust, 57cm waist and 86cm hips with an E cup size. I am not going to go through every teachers’ measurements but it is these descriptions that go to show how the quality of Nande Koko ni Sensei ga?! is A-Grade. Mayu Matsukaze is an art teacher who is kind in nature and becomes very dazed when she gets close to her lover.
Carrying on with tear-studio’s amazing work with the teachers, Hikari Hazakura is a P.E teacher who is a mischievous and free character and is called "cherry blossoms with leaves too loose" among the students. She also has delicious tan lines (the new black in anime). And lastly, we have Chizuru Tachibana who has silver hair to match her cold and inexpressive attitude. The background art is nice, the color palette is vibrant, camera angles are suggestive with a wide range of shots that the director shows his prowess in. Hiraku Kaneko’s shot composition defines who the characters are, reveals relationships between characters, spotlighting their state of mind, established their place in the world, providing a glimpse of things to come and closure. The animation is excellent, there is lots of fluidity to the movements of the characters (*wink wink*).
Now there are a few layers to Nande Koko ni Sensei ga!? Characters get developed, the romantic beats are nice, a splash of drama, plenty of light-hearted moments and witty exchanges between characters but, screw all of that. There is only one reason why you’re here, and this series delivers that with a cherry on top. The foundation on which this is built on is contrived coincidences, the rule of sexy, suggestive collisions, and all things absurd. This is an anime that I like to watch, but never if someone else is in the room. Guilty pleasures are not always bad per se, but our cultural zeitgeist has determined that they are cheesy - badly done, overdone, overwrought or made entirely of syrup. While this is trashy, I can’t help but like it.
Nande Koko ni Sensei ga!? is a series that is unique in its approach to ecchi antics and it offers something for everyone. Whether it appeals to your kink or explores naughty fantasies you haven't considered. Either way, enjoy all the stimulating scenarios that are served up. This is my guilty pleasure of spring 2019 and a new favorite TV-short. There are 12 episodes with each one being 12 minutes long. Perfect for lovers of ecchi and I recommend the uncensored version whenever it becomes available.
Truth be told, I don’t even know why the hell I decided to watch this show. The manga is nothing short of guilty pleasure that borderlines on hentai while containing immense amount of ecchi content and nudity. Somehow, it got announced for an anime adaptation because why the hell not.
To put in the most straightforward way possible, this show is fan service fest dealing with rouchy, unbridled ecchi. The plot is hardly noticeable as you’ll be far too distracted into the fan service than anything else. The groans, sexy moans, and those colorful choreographed camera shots are what you’ll see all the way for each
episode. Beach episode? Check. Trashy drama in the infirmary? Check. Sexy Santa outfits? Check. In fact, you’ll be checking off a list of ecchi content on the bucket list by the time the show is over.
But what’s wrong with a show like this? Don’t we have enough fan service nowadays that all over the place each season anyway? Well, that’s true but it’s more tempting to say this show is nothing short than a sex education in disguise. It seems the show follows a path to get us to understand something about adults; or perhaps more specifically, teachers. The first few episodes decorates this anime with fan service, suggestive camera shots, and even some “fluids”. Anyone healthy male can understand what that implies, right?
Meet Kana Kojima, the high school teacher at Kawanua West. The episode immediately puts her into compromising positions whenever it gets the chance with her student, Ichiro Sato. It flirts with their relationship by throwing those two into erotic moments. In fact, every main protagonist somehow gets thrown into a compromising position in way or another. There’s no hidden motive or anything. It’s just what this show is. The other faulty members in the show – Hikari, Mayu, and Chizuru all falls in the line of being a walking billboard of fan service. Hikari has her fine toned body, Mayu is armed with a busty chest and boobs, and Chizuru has that “I don’t give a shit” attitude while undressing herself. But you know what they say….sex sells. These ladies fills the role of being sex education instructors.
On the other side, there are the male characters who all get their sexy time with the adults. Characters are paired together to bring the most out of each other through skit-like storytelling. Each episode contains several scenes that collectively tells a short story. In fact, this anime is only half the length. Besides all that, I think it’s safe to say the male characters are the more innocent and pure types. Satou is the friendly kid who somehow always ends up in Kana’s chest or ass. Somehow, Mayu’s chest attracts Rin like a magnet. Takashi gets treated like a kid by Hikari without realizing their age difference. And, Chizuru…can we just put an anchor on her ass? Once you’ve realized who is paired up with who in the show, it becomes obvious why this anime exists. It’s to sell sex without the actual sex.
Now with that said and done, it's up to you to judge whether you should watch this anime or not. However, I would say that anyone with a fully functional brain will realize how ridiculous this anime can be. It’s a guilty pleasure show carved from every male fantasies imaginable. Every episode aims to try getting the guys to reach orgasm. The amount of ecchi jumps out at you like pouring rice. I do admit that sometimes, I can feel a bit of guilty pleasure from watching this. But at the end of the day, it’s better to avoid this show and go get yourself laid for some real pleasure.
“If you try to find sense in everything you do – why do you even watch anime?”– my friend in discord at 4 a.m.
Nande koko ni sensei ga? is the most misunderstood show this season. The reason people think this anime is bad, is because for some reason they either try to overthink this show or they think that it is hentai. And I can see where that comes from. There is a tone of fan service in this show, but it plays not only the role of satisfying your desire of woman body, but a role of a comedy element.
(at least I think so) acknowledges that it is a show about students who want to bang their teacher. And because of that it is absolutely hilarious. If you find this anime stupid, I believe, you are meant to do so.
Animation is okay. Nothing special just enough to make you think this isn’t actually a montage of voiced manga, but an anime.
Just to make you understand how much I enjoyed watching this show, I can easily say that Nande koko ni sensei ga? is the best comedy anime that was aired since Asobi Asobase.
Now let’s talk about parts of this show that are completely useless.
Characters. They exist. There are four high schoolers: a normal one, a shy one, a shouta, and a hard-worker. Also, there are four teachers: a tsundere, a shy one, eccentric one and a kuudere. That’s about all I can say about them. The only purpose they have is to get into awkward situations.
Story. If you have read the synopsis you already know everything you need to.
I recommend you to watch a censored version, because otherwise you are going to be disturbed from comedy by all the boobs. And you should watch only one episode per day. One of the parts that make this show good is that it is twelve minutes long, what makes situations more rapid and keeps your interest.
Overall this show is so bad that it is great. If you have spare twelve minutes and you want to have some fun without overworking your brain, give this show a chance and enjoy your absurdity.
If you have a teacher fetish, you should watch this, if you don't, you better stay away from it.
At the first 2 episodes I was having a good time, laughing and everything, after all it's a comedy, but as I kept on watching, I don't know what happened.I couldn't understand if the joke started wearing off, if it was being poorly executed and it was better executed the first few times, or if the anime simply gave up on being a comedy to become nothing more than fanservice. But if it was supposed to be an ecchi, almost a hentai, why the censorship? I
thought the censure was improving the comedy, but then it stopped being funny so I got confused about it. It probably exists to sell blurays but then why is it tagged as comedy?
Furthermore, on episode 3 we find out that the protagonist's mother is friends with his teacher, so the teacher has the age to be his mom? And the mother was encouraging the protagonist to bang her friend? It was at this point that the ideia of a relationship between teachers and students started being normalized. "Oh but they only started really dating when they stopped being student/teacher!", yes, but this seems to support the idea that even the characters of the story know how wrong their relations were, but they have it anyway all the way through the anime, and every teacher presented not only seems to have no problem with it but they also join it. ???
I started watching this because it has 10 minutes per ep and I like to watch anime while I strech. I finished the anime because I hoped it would be funny again, even a little bit, or that it would change a little, that was my mistake.
Anyway, the beautiful thing about anime is how specific it gets, how many niches it can reach, how diverse themes it can touch. I didn't have a good time with it, but I'm sure this can be someone's favorite anime, so I'll say it one more time, if you have a teacher fetish, you should watch it, it can be a 10/10 for you (but see the uncensored version if that's the case, if it ends up having one)
