School setting slice of life's focusing on high school girls in the hobbies of both shows, Yakunara being pottery and Houkago being board games. They feel similar in atmosphere and have their moments of seriousness where characters have to overcome some anxiety as they face issues. Although all of Yakunara's main cast are about the girls doing pottery, Houkago has 2 of the main characters striving to become a board games' developer whereas the other 2 normally just tag along and play. Aside from the anxieties that appear every now and then, both shows are generally a good time to be had.

both have a whole cute girls hanging out and they both even have a new character introduce a new character part why thought the series> The main difference is in k-on! they attempt to play music, and in houkago saikoro club they play board games.

Both have four girls how are friends and are slice of life anime. The differences are After School Dice Club has a theme of board games whereas Lucky Star as no specific theme. Also Dice Club is a PG version of Lucky Star. If you liked one I recommend the other.

Short Summary: Ouran Host Club has similar protagonists which are both soft-spoken and friendless at the beginning, Which that changes later on. They both revolve around Clubs/Soon-to-be Clubs. If you're looking for a similar anime to watch next, Ouran Host Club should be your next stop. When I think of other animes similar to After School Dice Club, of course a lot pop into mind, but one specific one I think falls under the category of being similar the most is Ouran Host Club. Both protagonists are Soft-Spoken and have no friends at the beginning, But then gradually begin to have more fun and become friends  read more

When I think about similar series, I think Fruits Basket (2019). Personally I find the 1st season more similar than the 2nd one, But I adore the 2nd season as well.

The dynamic of the two MCs (Miki/Aya and Ai/Sarasa) are very similar. Each have their strengths and weaknesses and as the story continues, they help each other and become more well-rounded people.

Both are shows revolving around a shy protagonist breaking out of their shell and socializing by playing games. The biggest difference being that one show has some mild fantasy elements thrown in and is about one game exclusively and the other focuses on a variety of different games.

Both shows are very similar as they center on a particular niche (snacks for Dagashi Kashi and board games for Houkago Saikoro Club). The niche is displayed by the shops They have similar main characters who are very passionate and knowledgable about the products. Fun and entertaining to learn the history of the product Strangers become friends fast in the shop. overall if you want how to rest and relax this is a must

There are lot of similarities between them. -Setting in school, the difference is one is middle school and another is high school -Both protagonist are introvert, shy and socially awkward -One of her friend is cool, calm and collected but sometimes tsundere -One of her friend is flamboyant and cheerful character -The 4th is foreigner who later became her friend and share similar appearance as well Last but not least, cute girls doing cute things Both kinda have slice of life vibe, so if you like calm show, then this is one of the right choice for you.

Both shows explore different aspects of games that arent commonly talked about nowadays (board games and arcade games) while also underlyingly following the development of the main character's, as they interact with others who share the same interest

Both shows focus on a group of people completely unrealted, who come together through a common interest. They're both more coming of age feel good relax stories, rather than massively plot driven ones

Both series focus on a shy protagonist who is dragged into a niche activity by a energetic genki girl. Houkago focuses more on the relationships surrounding the activity, while Susume gives the watcher an in-depth look into its hobby.
