Sono Toki, Kanojo wa.

I usually to lazy to bother write any reviews. But sadly, the only review that I could find here is just from the person who've only watched 1 episode (because if standing on its own, I have to admit the 1st ep is no more than your usual cliche romance).

Story: 8/10
Rather than a "story", this series is full of stories (at least from the 3 eps that I've watched). Each episode comes with a different story. But they all have the same theme: Love & Relationship. The varying ages of the characters make it possible to explore love and relationship from different views, that's what ... make this series special.

Art: 6/10
The art isn't anything grand or cute like your typical shoujo romances. But I find the art quite fits the overall mood and atmosphere they're trying to create.

Sound: 8/10
The soundtracks really helped to create the mood. I especially love the whispering voices of the character's inner thoughts.

Character: 8/10
It not a series which focused in the characters development. I mean, it's only 3 minutes per episode. But in that short time in 3 minutes they're able to make us sympathize with the characters. All these characters has flaws. There's not a single "mary sue" character, which for me is a big plus point.

Overall Enjoyment: 10/10
I pretty much enjoyed it, and I'm fully aware that giving a 10 score is maybe a bit too much, and I might change my opinion later.

While i was about to take this to the forum i decided to make this my first ever review.

This anime while being 3 min episodes is surprisingly fine.

Without being presented any story or background from the characters our minds fills in with our imagination while hearing their troubles/state of mind. If you watched many drama/romance series you know what i talk about. Amazing that in 3 min episodes they show us different age groups couples and their problems in a time in their life, that in the end it sums up a normal relationship without the over dramatic and time consuming stories like we are ... used to in other animes.

From what i know this is some anime indie project created by a manga artist with somewhat inexperienced crew.

The art while minimalistic is good. The sound is fine. Background sounds fills in nicely for the lack of animation for better experience, and the music while good, felt like underused, especially in the first episodes.

I was sceptic at the beginning, but i enjoyed it for what it is and what it wanted to reach.
Overall i give it a 6/10.

I dropped this anime.

If you are a person who does not get bored easily, please do not rely on this review. Please take in mind that in order for me to not get bored, something has to fuel my excitement.

And this is what the anime lacks in. It did not give me any excitement at all to know what is going on next, but rather making me keep on skipping parts although I realise that each episode is less than five minutes.

The style of art is perfect. But not perfect for animation. Why? Because it does not move at all to emphasise ... the emotion on the dubber's voice and intonation. It makes things awkward and it does not reflect the appropriate mood. It ruined the whole atmosphere for me. Probably this is also the reason why it did not give me any excitement.

I was willing to try to understand the plot. I was willing to try to understand the reason why each character does certain things. But I end up with the conclusion that the story is forced.

Most of the times I am annoyed with the thought of each girl's. But that proves to me how amazing this story in giving me different impressions.

Overall, not worth the watch for someone who easily gets bored.
