Synopsis

One day, a city suddenly disappears. Takuya, a professional by-the-contract courier and lone wolf, meets Yuki, the only survivor from the city's extinction. The two rely on a message from Yuki's father, who was heard to be missing, and head toward the disappeared city, Lost.

However, unexpected obstacles strike before the pair, with the reality especially shocking for Yuki. Before them are the feelings of those left behind, a mysterious group manipulating in the shadows, and unveiling the hidden conspiracy. Takuya and Yuki, who both were initially strangers, would deepen their bond during the journey and unravel the mystery of the Lost city.

This show is exactly my type of show, except I'm not enjoying it as much as I thought I would.

The first episode starts off alright as it seems to be an adventure/mystery show, but it starts to go downhill from there.
Pros:
No (over) melodramatic scenes.
Cons:
There are some heavily unnecessary elements in the show like the idol group and its appearance throughout the show. It has little to no significance in the plot itself. The male main character feels like a side character and the female major character is your generic overpowered loli. The concept of a city disappearing seemed really promising. It's quite disappointing.

TL;dr Don't waste your time on this. This show has absolutely nothing to offer except boredom.

Story:
Minor spoilers for first episode ahead.

A girl named Yuki is the only survivor and then there's a guy with a scooter who does whoknowswhat delivery work. He is requested by some scientific dudes (who do experiment on Tamashi of the people who disappeared in along with the city) to deliver this girl Yuki into the lost city because they think her father is alive. Now plot is not completely read more

This show starts off with the main protagonist Takuya, a scooter wielding courier service transporting his latest job, Yuki to the city Lost (appropriately named as every person in this city vanished due to 'unknown causes'). The show starts off right, with an incredibly fast action scene with decent choreography to keep the viewers entertained with enjoyment. However, this sort of derails from here.

The fast pacing stays well, fast throughout, which isn't inherently bad, but for a first episode of a game adaptation anime this doesn't bode well for the viewers. Honestly, I was very confused in what was happening throughout the pilot episode and read more
