Both includes similar characters. In Kara no Kyoukai movie we can also meet girl killing people with invisible weapons or something. They haircolor is also similar.

If you liked the antagonist from this movie, Fujino Asagami, then you’ll like the Heaven’s Feel route from Fate/stay night in particular! The main heroine from Heaven’s Feel, Sakura Matou, is just a recycled version of Fujino, though slightly less superficial. So if you like Fujino you might like Sakura!

Dark and violent atmosphere. The rape scene in Hellsing reminds me of the scene from Kara no Kyoukai 3.

Both animes deal with death, suicide themes, and more importantly, if violence is ever justifiable. Equally dark content or 'lingering' darkness after you watch it, though Satsuriku no Tenshi has more energetic characters, while Kara no Kyoukai has more reserved, mature, characters.

Both based on Type-Moon works, made by same studio, have a similar dark atmosphere (and OST from Yuki Kajiura). Also Asagami Fujino is a proto-Sakura ;-)

Most people think that Higurashi is a violent anime. But I think Kara no Kyoukai is even more so. While Kara no Kyoukai's plot development is not as strong as Higurashi's, it offers better action scenes with good graphics and an even better soundtrack. Both are high quality anime.

If yoo like a dark atmosphere, some detective mystery and girls with supernatural powers, you'll enjoy both anime. What does it mean to be human? What does it mean to be normal? Both anime work with these questions in a gorey, brutal way.

Grossly dark but entertaining story's with murderers that are beyond understanding; In Kara no Kyoukai 3 Fujino Asagami and in Psycho Pass Rikako Ouryou among other people. Both got action and mystery.

Both feature main female heroines with supernatural powers who fight enemies that are somehow related to the source of their own powers. Both have a regular male companion to their adventures. Both have a dense and dark feel to it. Art is similar.

Artwork in both anime have great resemblances, due to the fact that both stories are written by Type-Moon. These anime feature a world where magic exists, and can be used be a given few people. Furthermore, the female protagonists are sword/knife-wielding bad-ass without descending into the usual dere stereotypes.
