Both anime has conspiracies, the elite scheming behind the scenes - doctors, politicians, scientists are involved and pulling the strings of their puppets. Crimes, action, thought provoking dialogues. Both of these anime just makes you look deeper and question what's right and wrong, good and bad. Great soundtracks, voice acting and story.

Same detective vibes. With a stoic protagonist who has to deal ethical problems and a main villain that you'll love to hate.

Both animes raise the theme of suicidal morality as an entrance to harmony.

The events are running in a world of advanced technology, criminals are psychopath , both shows focus more on the moral side of society and the meaning of justice rather than revealing the criminal, Main character has an obsession of revenge

-Both anime feature a MC with a sense of justice and strong opposition from an intelligent and competent foe -Controversial morale questions regarding life are presented in both. -Investigations and politics of public interest are elements present in both shows.

Both series are based on suspense novels and feature solving a murder mystery in a dialogue heavy format.

Both are politic dramas that focus on the world's response to supernatural events. The introduction of a supernatural/sci-fi person in the world presents new ideology and debates with politicians. The philosophies for the ideal societies in either show are very speculative and based on the writer's opinion rather than believable concepts rooted in reality. They are written by the same man. While each start with an intruiging premise, their endings take a pseudo-philosophical turn. Babylon ends on a more disappointing note, to say the least.

- The main female character "Ai Magase" is Yandere Like Gasai Yuno - She's in love with the main character "Zen" - Has blood and sexual scenes, and also has some torture scenes - trying to isolate "Zen" from other people

Great mystery shows that go all out on their visual presentation, using good directing to keep any scene interesting. If you especially liked the first half of babylon, you'll most likely also enjoy Kubikiri Cycle.

Although the two have a substantial difference when it comes to the plot, they are however similar when it comes to the premises that these can offer. To simply put, these shows have the ability to raise awareness especially to the different perceptions and moralities in life. Meaning, having to watch any of the two will lead to the same realization. If you want to know what it is then why don't you give it a try? Additionally, both have the same atmosphere, humor, and ambiance. They are both dark in nature and are entertaining to watch mainly for those who enjoy a gloomy and sinister  read more

I can say that Psycho pass season 2 was more gory and twisted than their first season. Babylon is more investigative, but shows less blood and explosions.

Both essentially their own genre a philosophy essay. Purpose of any philosophy essay is not give you answers but give you questions.

Both shows have a similar air of being about detectives who are running behind a very dangerous evil entity.

Political intrigue with bombastic (and often hilarious) plot twists. This is spectacle anime at its finest.

You can expect some mind fucks, dark atmosphere of the world, killings and themes in life for mature people. Good vs Bad, technology and spiritual themes

Both are engaging thriller animes. Whilst they both are very different in terms of character and plot, they hold the same kind of directing style. But moreso i just think that if you like either one of these shows and have not watched the other yet, you will most likely enjoy it.

Babylon is an anime I stumbled upon by pure chance one night, looking for something interesting to watch this season. The premise seemed interesting enough, with a mystery that needed to be solved. What I would soon find out that the genre tag for Thriller is indeed very well placed. Right from the first episode, you are met with cliffhanger after cliffhanger, causing you to want to watch more and more. For a similar thriller with darker undertones, I highly recommend Babylon.

Both shows have a lot similarities: - thrilling story - terrorism - the main villain try to make everything "good" for people - interesting directorial techniques - pretty same art-style
