I don't review the song, I review the whole music video.
This review will be quite short.
The TV version was way better than this, not gonna lie. I hate to admit this version of the Nisemonogatari ED is poorly made.
I know there's usually no story in music videos, but they could've added some visuals that match the lyrics and relate to the anime itself, why not? The TV version perfectly did it so it fits the anime. I stopped skipping the Monogatari endings after Nisemonogatari's one. This version, however, has no general sense, idea.
No character development whatsoever. They didn't even try to make these
cardboard-animated girls seem they've got some personality.
As for the animation, it's cheap and unimaginative. The character designs and some BGs were decent yet forgettable. Actually, the video is painful to watch.
What about the sound? 'Naisho no Hanashi' is one of the best EDs ever produced. It's catchy, rememberable, but the TV size version wins against this—a full-length track is not all great. Thanks, ClariS.
I had really high expectations on this one. They were unsatisfyingly ruined. The enjoyment comes only from the track itself. Everything is a disappointment compared to the TV version. To be honest, it's a 1/10, but since this title's only genre is music plus me who doesn't want to rate this too low, let's call it a weak 3/10.
