I rate this anime an 8/10 overall, it was a touching and underappreciated small story.

The story was simple but includes themes of growth, death, and loneliness.
that is why I rate it an 8/10, it touches me personally.

The constant question we have all asked once, will anyone care if we die?

The art style is very simple and reminds me of a Ghibli film if it had low production value, but none the less, it was really good and flowed very well. It transported me into the fantasy just like spirited away did.

Katasumi no Uroko is a lovely little story about fond childhood memories and how a special person can make a big impact on a young, curious mind. Although the English title may not be the most catchy and the synopsis can leave one slightly confused, I'd say this short film is worth taking a chance on. Why? I'll try to sum up its highlights without spoiling the plot.
