The anime centers on two protagonists. Koma Jinguji (Jay) is the smart and handsome student council president. His elegant smile captures the hearts of women. Tsubasa Hayakawa is a multi-talented and gentle shop assistant at a café. His cafe latte with owl latte art is very popular with female customers. The two men travel through time to fight their archenemy. The charming "Butlers," as they are called, fight supernatural battles and also experience a slapstick comedic life at their academy.
When it comes to original anime production, a lot of studios have tried to hit it off with much successes...except Silver Link. Along with Two Car last Fall (as a tribute to their 10th anniversary), Butlers X Battlers falls in the same category as original productions that failed hard from start to end (maybe. for now).
The gist of the whole story is of the iceberg formula depiction:
Tip of the iceberg: Part butlers living out their school slice-of-life comedic pleasures,
The rest in the water: Part butlers (ONLY TWO) protagonists that are fighting against one another in supernatural battles (in which the story behind it is
unclear as of yet), though the hatred-archenemy references are all over the place.
So first impressions, mixing the school, comedy and supernatural genres seems like a good mix right? We had series like Madoka Magica or Baka to Test (by the same studio) which have made a good impression on us years back (heck, even to this day). I get it that it's harder to do (or even execute) original content as it goes with variable degrees of success, and this falls into the latter. Nevertheless, first impressions are a thing of the past when this series ends, so I'll hold on my word to that.
The characters here...well, other than the two protagonists (student council prez Kouma Jinguuji (or J as everyone calls him) and cafe assistant Tsubasa Hayakawa), most of them butlers (boys, not men) are very descriptive: the school, comedic slapstick way of life, adored by the girls (as per se) of the school. Interesting concept, but it's execution was weird albeit in a good way (I'll give it that), and more so with the overarching story of J and Hayakawa, it was meant as a reliever towards the dark side of the story.
Art and animation wise...it's Silver Link quality, mediocre but decent at best. Yes, there are such things as lush drawings and/or backgrounds, but a few traces can be found here and there, but overall pretty unmemorable though. The sound wise is decent at best too, same with everything else, the highlight point of the series explaining the overall story.
This IS a prelim review, but I'm not gonna say whether this is recommended or not. Instead, if you feel like needing something to watch, either give this a 2nd take or none at all.
"It's pretty complicated anime but it starting to interesting!"

My Review :
1. Story [ 8 ]
At first I also feel little puzzled. because the story are little complicated. it should
rated only 4 at first since i dont really understand the story, I only know Jay are being send to the world after hundred years ago and suddenly he appear in the school. It's full of mysterious. But after I'm watching through now is episode 7. I'm little know it. and suddenly appear many descent of butlers which is the same as Jay and Tsubasa. I don't know if Jay can save Tenna or not. since there's are still puzzled. But i think the real fact of the hundred years ago soon will be known if the we keep watch.
