Making it simple: - Both have demons predating humans and a macho protagonist who save humans from the demons and is deep involved with Makai/Hell. - Both protagonists have fight partners who don't necessary fight togheter and share a strange friendship. - Both have almost all characters as adults. - Both have the little girl enigma (relating to Makai/Hell). - Both have awesome openings (seriously). - Anyway there's a lot of similarities. If you watched one, you might watch the other. That's it.

Literally the same thing. - A strong guy, who brings his iron armor from the sky. - Meets a red haired girl, who can fight for herself, but she is still a child. - Girl's brother was kidnapped. - MC meets a white-headed guy, who is driven by vengeance. - White-headed guy is a marksman. - MC meets a strong big-chested woman, that helps him for no reason (she loves him). - They travel to the distant land, where main villain is located. - Main villain has his generals, one of them is a woman wearing purple dress. This womant is full of lust (she also seduces girl's brother). - Main villain promices to  read more

The overall atmosphere and the city aesthetic are very similar. Also, both anime focus on people whose job is to hunt and kill monsters.

Both anime take place in a modern gritty urban setting with the main character hunting down demons. Both anime feature characters slaughtering demons with their swords and both are also pretty gorey too. They have enough action to keep you entertained.

While there is no Mecha in Garo: Vanishing Line, they do share some similarities. In these two anime, you have a violent badass main character that fights against evil powerful beings. They have a similar manly tone to them as they both have heavy metal music, plenty of nice action scenes and lots of violence/blood. You can get testosterone fueled rampage of enjoyment in both of these two anime.

Both feature OP protagonists battling against demonic forces of evil that possess human beings in an urban environment. Body horror is also a prevalent theme in both series' monsters.

The same setting where it involves a group of individuals whom were out to hut monsters and other supernatural beings who feeds on people's frustrations and wishes.

Both MC's are fighting against something that takes control/eats humans and makes them into something demonic. Both main MC's are owners of special bikes and given special powers. Both transform into a mecha-like being. Blassreiter is a bit more dark than Garo.

Fights, armours, cities, characters, monsters... There is a lot of same visual and procedural details between Garo and Karas, obviously with palpable differences but definitely to keep in mind if you are searching for similar products. Anyway, and not being bad in Garo, I think the CGI used in Karas is better even considering that is from 2005-2007, due to the budget or something like that I suppose. Hope you enjoy it.

Both anime take place in a sci-fi/fantasy urban setting and follow characters who hunt those who are possessed. Each anime occasionally break off from the main characters to follow the possessed and tell their stories. Each has CGI Sword Fights, lots of driving sequences, and are quite gory.

> the villains are people who have lost their hopes and themselves and in the world > they destroy everything in search of something that they have lost and feed on people > the protagonists are more sentimental and want to help these people

> the protagonists persecute evil creatures created from the own human and hunts humans > to eradicate these creatures there is an organization behind it > the protagonists are more emotional and sentimental about the creatures hunted
