There’s not much overarching plot. Every episode is more of a slice-of-life skit than a progressing storyline. But the consistency of their daily interactions and the slow, subtle development of feelings between the two are what keep you watching.

Takagi is clever and playful, while Nishikata is awkward and reactive—classic teasing duo. Their chemistry works because it feels natural. Side characters like Mina and Yukari add some variety, though they mostly stay in the background.

The visuals are clean, colorful, and fitting for the atmosphere. Facial expressions, especially Takagi’s smug face and Nishikata’s flustered reactions, are spot-on. It’s not flashy, but it doesn’t need to be.

Ceritanya ringan, simpel, dan manis banget. Berkisah tentang Nishikata, seorang cowok SMP yang tiap hari kena goda Takagi. Cuma itu? Ya. Tapi dari situ justru muncul banyak momen gemas, apalagi pas Takagi mulai goda dengan cara yang makin “manis”.

Alur: 7.2/10
Gak ada cerita panjang yang bikin penasaran. Tiap episode lebih mirip potongan kehidupan harian. Tapi justru dari situ kita bisa lihat perlahan-lahan hubungan mereka berkembang.

Pengembangan Karakter: 8.1/10
Takagi itu cerdas dan usil, Nishikata polos dan reaktif. Duet yang pas. Interaksi mereka kerasa natural. Karakter sampingan kayak Mina dan Yukari juga kasih sedikit variasi walaupun gak terlalu sering muncul.

Visualnya bersih dan cerah. Ekspresi wajah, apalagi senyum nakal Takagi dan wajah panik Nishikata, dieksekusi dengan bagus. Gak wah, tapi cocok banget buat gaya ceritanya.

Musiknya santai dan ceria, pas banget sama nuansanya. Lagu OP dan ED yang dinyanyiin Rie Takahashi (pengisi suara Takagi) juga manis banget. Akting suaranya juga bikin karakter makin hidup.

Sebagai anime slice-of-life, ini berhasil bikin penonton senyum. Gak niat jadi dramatis atau berat, cukup jadi tontonan ringan yang bikin hati adem.

The art style is clean and the soft, acoustic soundtrack fits the tone well. Takagi’s smugness and Nishikata’s overreactions are amusing at first, and there are definitely sweet moments that hint at genuine affection underneath all the teasing.

That said, the show’s formula wears thin fairly quickly. Most episodes follow the same structure with little real development. The lack of variety can make the pacing feel slow, especially if you're watching more than a couple episodes in a row. Character growth is minimal, and while the charm is there, it often relies on repetitive gags.

If you enjoy slow-burn slice-of-life shows and light, teasing romance, this might ... be a relaxing watch. But if you're looking for dynamic storytelling or deeper emotional progression, it may fall short.

Story progresses nowhere aside from romanticizing bullying throughout roughly a natural year in the japanese school system. It goes on and on and on, edging the viewer on Nishikata ever getting back at Takagi, but it never happens. The most interesting storyline is the three side-character girls'.

If you feel like spending 12 standard 23min. episodes watching a schoolboy be bullied by a classmate schoolgirl with zero consequence, or even remorse on her part, with absolutely no change in the dynamic, then by all means enjoy. If you want to see some progression Nagatoro has the same "getting his attention by throwing rocks at him" basic ... premise, but it unlike this one, characters evolve.
