Musekinin Galaxy☆Tylor (The Irresponsible Galaxy☆Tylor)

Taking place in a very distant in future, the adventure begins when a boy meets a certain girl. The Pan Galaxy Republic has declined and so have many empires. This resulted to people in the galaxy being scattered. Living in the peaceful side of their world, Banjou, who picks up trashes at the spherical wall met a girl, frozen, in a broken spaceship. There are bad guys who chase her, and thus, the quiet galaxy suddenly became lively. Little did he know that the frozen girl is Goza 168th, the key to decide the destiny of the whole universe. Overcoming hardship, the two embarks on a trip to make the Galaxy Republic alive again. It may be a difficult challenge, but it's alright, let's progress slowly! A comedy of irresponsible galaxy trip begins!

Wow.

I decided to watch this on a whim without knowing truly how bad this was. Since it's a sequel to The Irresponsible Captain Tylor, it must be good right? Wrong!

What can anyone expect from such a short anime? 12, 3 minute episodes. There's nothing to this story, it goes nowhere. The art isn't very good, rarely it would look okay for a frame or so but overall the art wasn't good and the animation was stiff. The sound had no standout qualities and the characters were extremely bland with no memorable anything! The villain was laughably bad.This show is a sad shell of its predecessor. ...

As someone who is a big Star Trek fan, something just clicked with me when I started watching the Irresponsible Captain Tylor, and by the end of the series it had become one of my favorite animes ever. Some friends have told me that Musekinin Galaxy☆Tylor was awful. They were right.

Story: 1/10
The story is basically a flanderization of the 1993 anime's plot, with Tylor, "Yamamoto" and Azalyn going on a journey.

Art: 2/10
The art is pretty standard modern anime, but Tylor and Azalyn look really bad and the new character looks somewhat out of place but doesn't reach the ridiculous appearance of say Shia Has in ...

As a great fan of the original Irresponsible Captain Tylor and appreciator of short anime, I can safely say: This crap stain just don't know which public it was made for.

Is it for the fans of the original series? Well, ICT aired in 1993. I was born in 1993, and watched the series in 2015. I am 25 years old. Why in the world would someone like me enjoy a series that's just a very very poor attempt to make a children's series? Not even a kid would find this funny.
