Sick of all the plot-heavy, action-focused, mind-boggling bullshit you've recently watched? Perhaps you've finally got a break after a long week of work and exhaustion? I got ya fam, here are a few shows that aren't super psychological or plot-oriented stuff, and are best enjoyed when your brain is weary and wants to digest something light and comforting.

Light, chill anime

For anyone who is looking for anime that is full of girls and also fun to watch then this is for you guys. :)

Each of the following are one of the most popular anime set in or heavily inspired by an associated Japanese prefecture. They are ordered from Hokkaido to Okinawa (roughly north to south).

cute, relaxing, nostalgic, and sometimes doesnt even need a plot

invokes feelings of tranquility / sentimentality / catharsis


watch it during the day or before bed so you can relax -

just dont watch if you dont want to like it in the first place

Anime to watch if you're bored/in the mood for some light-hearted enjoyment and nostalgia.

1. Cast is all-girl
2. Not in the romance genre*
3. Only Slice of life shows[so no action/battle shows].


Split up in multiple parts due to number of entries.

Whenever your having a stressful day or just want to relax, this is your go to list for some chill anime.

There's a lot I'd love to know about the site (and share with you) but I cannot understand everything on there and the site doesn't seem to have a Wikipedia page which is wild.
