Synopsis

On one noteworthy day in the Adventurer's Guild, Kazuma Satou encounters someone unexpected—a fan of his named Ran. Surprised that he even has a fan, Kazuma attempts to play it cool to impress her. Unfortunately for him, the guild's receptionist arrives with a request to defeat a giant golem guarding some ancient ruins, and Kazuma accepts only to keep Ran's admiration.

Upon Kazuma and his party's successful return from the ruins, Kazuma continues to shamelessly brag to Ran. Capitalizing on his desperation, the receptionist approaches him with another quest that requires him to return to the same ruins. Hoping to find valuable treasures, Kazuma once again convinces his party to join him—but this time, he may be biting off more than he can chew.

Amazes me that people rate this show poorly, the show isn't supposed to be some god tier story like FMA brotherhood or some god tier plot and pacing like Death note. Its supposed to silly, relaxed, and comedic. You watch this show and its OVAs for the characters and the humor, this show is top tier and the only people who can find fault with it are pretentious and literally just want to hate on this show.

Its like hanging out with your friends without a worry in the world, thats how I describe this show, and thats why I love this show.

Y'know what? I think this OVA was better than the majority of season two. It brought back a lot of the charm that I missed with Konosuba's second outing and instead of recycling the same jokes and creatures, they ended up giving us a cute story that was just good enough, in my opinion.

Season two was bogged down by stale character dynamics that were already getting old in season one. It also didn't employ any of the tactics its similar sitcom brethren tend to add to their second seasons, such as an additional cast member or a small over-arching narrative. Instead, we got the ...

Ok, so the usual plot, the usual scenario, the usual bad luck were Kazuma's party were still experiencing it , frankly this OVA can qualify as episode 11, in fact Studio Deen should have included it with the regular airing of Konosuba season 2.
