Synopsis

Following the successful end of the Fourth Shinobi World War, Konohagakure has been enjoying a period of peace, prosperity, and extraordinary technological advancement. This is all due to the efforts of the Allied Shinobi Forces and the village's Seventh Hokage, Naruto Uzumaki. Now resembling a modern metropolis, Konohagakure has changed, particularly the life of a shinobi. Under the watchful eye of Naruto and his old comrades, a new generation of shinobi has stepped up to learn the ways of the ninja.

Boruto Uzumaki is often the center of attention as the son of the Seventh Hokage. Despite having inherited Naruto's boisterous and stubborn demeanor, Boruto is considered a prodigy and is able to unleash his potential with the help of supportive friends and family. Unfortunately, this has only worsened his arrogance and his desire to surpass Naruto which, along with his father's busy lifestyle, has strained their relationship. However, a sinister force brewing within the village may threaten Boruto's carefree life.

New friends and familiar faces join Boruto as a new story begins in Boruto: Naruto Next Generations.

Absolutely awful...

Only four episodes are out at the point of writing this review and they have all been really boring and pointless.

The Story: Not much to say here...show opens on a cool action shot that looks like it happens 10-15 years from the current timeline. It tells us nothing about anything and exists only as a bait for inexperienced anime viewers who will watch the show for 600 episodes to finally get to it.
Got nothing else to say story wise because nothing actually happens. 0/10

The Characters: Again, not much to say about characters. Most of them are just copies of old characters with a read more

I like how in Boruto the producers at Studio Pierrot have completely pressed the reset button. It is very much like the original Naruto, however obviously the focus is on the next generation of characters, hence the anime's name.

Although I have only watched 4 episodes as of the writing of this review, the story and animation quality is superb. I especially like how the story is very laid back. It is very easy to watch and get into.

So, altogether I would recommend this anime to anyone who likes the original Naruto, One piece or other Shounen anime.

7/10 !!!!

This anime will not appeal to original Naruto watchers since it has no slow development with original feel to it, The main character is a probably the new most annoying main character in the anime world and watching the episode you can tell how much try hard the episode feels of trying to make him look cool and everything that happens in it.
The anime starts off with a huge plot spoiler which honestly ruins it, Next we go the character screams *I was born with everything so there is no hard work I need to do* It's already first episode and it's very rushed with read more

At this point in time when the show has just begun, it is fairly enjoyable. An average shonen with good production.
Though with that said, there are deep problems already surfacing with the writing, the biggest of which being that all the characters are way too powerful for their age. We have child characters capable of massive summons and advanced elemental techniques. This is on top of the fact that it is set in the Naruto world which is already deeply flawed as it is.
It would have been nice if the show returned to its humble roots with characters being modestly powerful and fights being read more
