Both Anime use CGI to show fluid fights that makes use of every frame. They both are about underground fighting with very little rules and heavy blood lost.

Fights by any place with personal styles and a bit bloody. The body of the characters can squirm-himself to kick or punch of the best way and without time to boring!

fighting spirit I guess a lot of fights but in this case *legal* fights ... no killing though I still consider it as a similar anime

If you like fights, madness and authors doing anything they like with their character not giving a sh*t, well, Jojo and Baki are absolutely for you.

Similarities: - Both MCs are forced to combat against other intense opponents in a 'match'. - Both premises are placed in urban settings - Both series include (but aren't limited to) hand to hand combat. - Opponents have a similar end goal (in Megalonia & Match)

Overly buff manly men clash and beat each other half to death. Both have important blood lines e.g. Hanma & Joestar.

The story of these shows can be categorized similarly to a B-movie. Maybe not entirely in bad low-grade acting or quality but more so on the structure and how gory movies like that used to get. "Ridiculous storyline which justifies violent acts" may be the most accurate to what I refer to. Both have their characters use different fighting techniques and flashbacks to their training or proper backstory. They get more nonsensical as they go on and introduce bizarre concepts but it's consistently entertaining. There's clear plot armor for some characters but you still get bloody battles and over-expository dialogue as usual for anime.

Both anime will have you questioning wtf you just watched. They have similar comedy and weird characters. Baki has better fights and is a little less confusing but if you like one you will like the other.

Action-packed shounen check. Baki and Tokyo Revengers really are cut from the same cloth, very unappealing art styles, grand brawls, mature characters and they really pan out the same way too! The only thing is that tokyo revengers is more plot driven while baki is more character and action driven.

If you like action packed stories and a crazy cast then Baki is a go to. Similar to BNHA in the loud fightings and training with a love story in the background to add some romantic feel seen in the youth. PS: Baki fighting scenes are far more gore packed which I am not against at all.

If you liked baki you'll love afro samurai, the choreographies are very good just like in baki, both have pretty linear plots , both protagonists are cold and both animes have a sex scene. Afro samurai is more violent and adult but i don't think that's not a problem.

both are anime about martial arts where the mc tries to beat an seemingly unbeatable opponent

These two anime hold many similarities and also many differences but are both worth the watch. Baki for it's realistic fighting scenes and mixing in relationship issues with friends, lovers, and family. And megalo box for it's fighting where it really feels like the characters are dealing with deep emotional trauma. The writing and story's are very different but they are both boxing animes worth checking out.

the communities of both of these series are pretty close so it stands to reason that they both achieve similar things, they are both training filled gym motivating series with great fights and characters

The realism, and fighting. They have similar animation types, except Baki is focused on fighting for the sake of fighting, and AOT is fighting for something.

Musculated men doing martial arts with honor.

Both intense martial arts anime with particularly graphic and violent fights to distinguish from more tame versions of the same style of anime. Both have great character designs and unique art styles.

Both contain adequate gore and were aided in production by Netflix. They both target a more mature viewer with darker themes than your average martial arts or demon anime. They both have likeable characters and art styles with good OST's.

If you like martial arts battle anime such as Tenjou Tenge, Baki has been the most realistic martial arts anime I'm yet to come across. While Baki has a lot more added Gore and the fights/styles themselves are a lot more grounded in realism, they both have many interesting characters with good back stories. Baki is probably better at developing more of those characters while TT will focus on a smaller group of characters and give more focus to their stories. I'd say Baki focuses more on the shows main protagonist Baki Hanma, but gives equal focus and development to all other supporting characters. TT  read more

As over the top JoJo's has always been, Baki is stereotypical JoJo's x10... except for the fact that JoJo's got better with every season. Early JoJo's at it's core was cartoonishly muscular and masculine men fighting in the most absurd scenarios. Over the top moments meant to shock and confuse the viewer over having any actual substance of a plot... and that is what made it so special. Similar to Baki, which makes it no secret that the "plot" is just an excuse for the buff superhumans to beat each other like crazy. So why should you watch JoJo's if Baki is more JoJo's than JoJo's?  read more

Unfiltered masculinity, thrash-talk and enjoying a good fight are some of the things that characterize these two shows. Main difference is that people in Baki can achieve superhuman strength and skills, though they all are still basic things, effectively making the series about raw fighting. Setting and background are different, but who cares; it's the guts that counts!

Similar feeling, revolves almost solely around mindless, bloody action that takes place. Highly entertaining.

Saint Seiya and Baki can be described as series almost purely about battles. Saint Seiya might make an effort to have a reason for its battles and establish motivation for its main characters, but ultimately these aspects are secondary to having battles in each episode. Baki keeps things far more simpler by having characters who simply wants to be stronger than everyone else. Saint Seiya's best aspect is the wide cast of characters with super powers who can become your favourite because of the efforts placed in establishing personalities. Baki's best aspect is the absurd fights, which reaches meme levels of ridiculousness. If you're looking  read more

Both of those shows have few similarities. First it's hard workout and rivarly, other one is that main character want to realize his goals and he is evolving. If you like Baki you should check Diamond no Ace. Of course "sport" is different here but... tension and fun of watching it is the same.
