Mahou Shoujo Madoka★Magica addpermalink

Is near the same, but Yuuki is more of a ''friendly'' kind, i think is more a slice of life, but let's see how it turns out. 

Also Madoka is better in so many ways, but if you wanna see something ''near'' to it well, this is your best shoot.

Both Madoka Magica and Yuuki Yuuna are magical girl shows with darker twists. Both start out trying to hide this, but in the end they are at similar levels of despair. If you really like one of them there's no real reason to not check out the other.

The same atmosphere. Japanese culture and aesthetic, a group of children who comprehend the dark secret that society hides.
