Anime no Me (あにめのめ) was a late night anime programming block aired on Tokyo MX, YTV, and BS11 from July 2016 to August 2018.

This is not include animes that has inspired by classic lit or mentions it, mainly this is on anime that adapts or loosely adapts on classic lit. (Note: I'll try and update as much as I can and add some obscure ones!)

An assorted stack of anime series with some talented detectives and mind-boggling mysteries to uncover. Highly recommended for fans who love to put on a thinking cap and wrap their head around, trying to unravel secrets alongside the protagonists.

As an avid enjoyer of buddy cop I present to you a list of shows that encompass the idea of two opposite personalities working together (usually to solve crime, but may be commiting crimes, may be no crimes at all 0-0)

Ordered by relevancy (personal opinion)(tried my best dont @ me QWQ)

(I ramble a lot ^obviously, but I have added summaries of the dynamics in brackets for each show (VERY ROUGH SUMMARIES))

It may not be the best of the best, but it is visually enjoyable.

Some of them may be a little awkward to watch at times lol, but I still enjoyed watching all the ones on this list :)

I feel bad for putting some of these anime on the list, but if I'm 100% honest with myself, even if I liked them a lot, that doesn't imply that they are thaaaat good.

Main-main MC unless there are 2 or more who equally share the spotlight. Will not add (yet) those I'm not certain of

Mystery Anime Like Detective etc, and of course plot twist case or unpredictable plot
