Kite Liberator

The theme of young girls becoming assassins is hard to ignore in both of these series. Whether it's for justice or not, there is definitely liberty. The violence and action are also shown in a very realistic and gore some way so be aware of that if you're planning on watching both series. Sci-fi also plays a theme in both of these series although more so in Kite Liberator. Both of these series are not for kids but for the more general mature audience.  

Both titles involve stoic girl assassins with specialized weaponry tasked with killing an alien threat. Using similar art and color palettes, while propelling its content with big, orchestrated action set-pieces, if you've found enjoyment from one, the similar aspects of the other will more than likely appeal to you as well. It also helps that the ineptitude found in their screenplays were so apparent up front that your expectations are effectively neutered right off the bat.  

Blood-thirsty lolis. Over the top moe alternated with extreme violence. 

Kick'n fight scenes and (I think it takes place in the same world).  

Both "Black Lagoon" and "Kite Liberator" are action packed, gun shooting, violent animes!! They both are dark, gritty, mature, and sexual (Kite Liberator is more sexual). They both also have amazing "fight" scenes. They both are set up like a "hollywood" action movie, but doing a much better job! Sure there's some serious leaps of faith needed (esecially in Kite Liberator), but hey, these series are all about the fun! Sure Kite Liberator is a mix-mach of genres (done for the fun/satire), sure some of the fight scenes in Black Lagoon are a little impossible(well in Kite Liberator too), but these series are just what they are, nothing more. Gritty action, very dark, amazing gun fights, and epic fun! Not deep, not going to inspire you, but both are great animes, that are a lot a like. read more 

Another strong female lead (chicks with guns) up a strong monster. 

Both have a similar feel to them. Both are cleaner versions of a hentai.
