Yahari Ore no Seishun Love Comedy wa Machigatteiru. Zoku OVA

Girls are made of sugar and spice, and all things nice.
The “nice thing” that Isshiki Iroha had. It was sweet, yet spicy. And it was probably bitter and sour. Her “nice thing” was so bothersome that you wouldn’t be able to understand unless you experienced it for yourself.
And without a doubt, Isshiki wasn’t the only one who had something of that nature as the two girls whom I was fairly close with in my own way had it as well.
Just what could it be, I wonder?


This was the Whole summary of Volume 10.5 which could be the date (Not really a date but kinda sweet ... tho) Having the two of them truly acts as a couple.. ... and the three of them hanging out in Chiba.. Which is something that Yuigahama is lacking much in a few scenes. The way Yukinoshita follows Hachiman.. (Ahmm.. She really wants to get close to him).. Yukinoshita is very atttached to cats and That "Nya" sound thing.. Yah!! That's so cute. After that They really made some memories onto themselves. it’s likely they end up trying to keep our manifested, awry feelings held together.

And lastly, hugged closely from both sides, Yukinoshita, although slightly vexed, was blushing red with embarrassment.
Just how many more days of these normal trivialities could we continue to accumulate from here on?
Just what kind of pain would accompany the nostalgic sight of these photos when we became old enough?
In thinking all of that, I pressed the shutter.


Hopefully Better to Rewatch whether you find the true meaning of genuine in the whole episode All Over Again.... :D

Okay, this is my first review so please go easy on me.

Oregairu has always been an anime mainly based on dialogue, characters expressions and emotions, especially for season 2. This OVA is no different from the second season either. Though it was made mostly for fun and for the enjoyment of the viewers after the series of drama from the original series, there are still scenes where you feel the pain and awkwardness of the characters. Usually, I don't give OVA high scores for story as literally nothing happen. But I gave this one a 9/10 mainly because of the life-like interactions of the casts ... and how it did the LN justice. We get to see a lot about Iroha's true personality and how sly she is. This is also connected to why I gave the art and characters a 10. The scenery looks great just like season 2 (Even the fingers movement). And since I am a reader of the light novel, this was part of my hype ever since it was announced. Overall, I never expected that I would enjoy an OVA this much.

Although it isn't exactly long, I'll post a tldr regardless:
1.Havent watched the original series yet? : The ova feels exactly like the anime and lives up to the hopes of the fans. Therefore this high rating.

2. Liked season 1,disliked Zoku : Maybe you won't appreciate it.

3. Liked season 1, love season 2 even more : The wait is over, you can probably rewatct it till they publish another few volumes and bring about a season 3.

I've met people who liked the good old Oregairu part one and are put off by Zoku since things turned from being light hearted to intense. But then ... there are people who liked the show even more after Zoku. I obviously fall in the latter category.
For those of you who liked season one over Zoku, this OVA won't be that memorable since it re-enact the feels from Zoku. Also, if you haven't watched the series and somehow stumbled upon this page and are wondering why everyone's giving it a 10 or so, the answer probably lies in the fact that people either absolutely love this anime or hate it. And since the release happened only yesterday probably the ones who disliked the show didn't bother to check out the OVA.
Oregairu has always been a special anime for me. Also, since I just finished the OVA chances are that my opinions will be biased. But I don't even care about them being biased anymore since the mighty 8man and gang are back after almost an year.
The story wasn't any deep, for those of you who aren't aware the 1st part of the OVA is a Canon and the second one isn't. The artwork was awesome as usual. The OVA completely retained the original style of the anime as mentioned by some other reviewers.

Spoiler-free review of the ''Yahari Ore no Seishun Love Comedy wa Machigatteiru. Zoku'' OVA (TL;DR at the end of the review.)

(Note: This is my first review and my way of reviewing is a bit weird sometimes, so try to bear with me. Also, English isn't my first language, so there might be a few errors throughout the review. Enjoy reading nevertheless!)

This OVA was just plain amazing! This one is one of the very few that manage to successfully keep the same tone as the series. Without further ado, let's dive right in the details!

Story (7):
The story is nothing special. Hachiman goes out with the main ... girls of the 2nd season, first with Iroha, then with Yui and Yukino, period. That's it. Quite the cliche story for an OVA. There isn't any commendable progression since it's a one-episode story. What makes it unique though is the way the story was executed, and by that I mean...

Art (10):
For me, no company can surpass Feel when it comes to smooth animation, not even Ufotable or KyoAni. Feel's animation fits Oregairu perfectly. All of the characters' expressions and body movements are done in extremely close detail and could hint a lot of turning points for the series. The backgrounds are also pretty amazing, also done in utmost detail. So if you're like me and enjoy such smooth and beautiful animation like it's 60 FPS, you can understand why I gave it a 10.

Sound (8):
Nothing out of the ordinary here. I don't pay a lot of attention to OSTs in anime, but Oregairu's are an exception. Great tracks that are memorable thanks to Kakeru Ishihama's amazingness!

Characters (10):
Oregairu has the most unique characters I've seen in anime so far. Unique, intriguing and inspiring personalities and ideologies. What I loved a lot about the 4 characters in this OVA is that a few aspects of their personalities were explained or became much more clear, to me at least, not thanks to the plot, but as I mentioned previously, thanks to the clever animation of the characters. That's a solid 10 from me!

Enjoyment (9):
Despite being a one-episode story, the enjoyment was the same for me. I enjoyed every single thing about Zoku, the artstyle, the OST, the plot, the character development, the feels (no pun intended), literally everything, and this OVA is on the exact same page.

Overall (9):
TL;DR: If you love the series, but think that this OVA might be a waste of your time (Speaking from experience), think again! It gives off the same vibe as the series, so if you loved it, you'll love this too! I mean, look at the score, it's obviously worth checking out!

This series is so dumb it manages to screw up even the most basic of rom-com tropes and make it painful to watch. I'm largely biased about anything fun this show tries to do because of how much I've grown to hate these characters over the course of two dreadful seasons. I don't want to see them having fun, because it reminds me of all the suffering they've put me through.

I dislike the younger girl with blondish hair who's always hitting on the protagonist in the same breath that she's rejecting him. "Hey Hiki, let's go on a date. Ew gross I meant as a ... friend you pervert. Wow Hiki I really like you. Ew you think I like you, what ever gave you that idea you pervert go die." I guess I can give them that it's a realistic depiction of how awful teenage girls are to deal with in real life, but it's like geez who hurt you? I also hate her because functionally within the narrative she's basically identical to the pink hair girl already established when she was introduced. Their hair color and personality are similar enough that I genuinely get them mixed up most of the time and don't bother separating them in my mind because I know it doesn't matter.

The 3 way date he goes on next is even more infuriating because any time the 3 main characters are on screen together it just feels so painful and awkward and makes me want to die. They both clearly like protagonist-kun but all 3 of them apparently hate talking to each other and especially hate voicing their motivations or actions and we're just supposed to guess. I don't care about any of their feelings and I'm just so sick of it all, I really can't take much more of this show. I'll watch the 3rd season out of spite to see how they try to end the stupid love triangle but I pretty much guarantee no ending they come up with will be satisfying for anyone because the only good ending would be for all 3 of them to die horribly in a bus crash or something, or be forced to live out Amane's tragic backstory from Grisaia over and over again. 4/10

I like Iroha's character and this was the worst episode with her that I have seen. She keeps on pretending not to like Hachiman. Speaking of Hachiman he didn't really say anything memorable in this episode at all. Hachiman and Oregairu are becoming what they were making fun of in the first season. All of the clitches about highschool anime that the first season was exposing. Take for instance when Iroha liked the Ramen at the Ramen shop they go to. When all the rawness of the first series is removed all that is left is a series giving a pat in the back of ... the losers who think they deserved what Hachiman has in this episode- an harem (i.e. popularity). Yukinoshita and Yuihigahama are being dishonest and basically fawning over the harem protagonist. The picture Iroha takes at the end is a picutre of Hachiman's harem, nothing more and certainly nothing genuine.

Somewhat of a mediocre OVA... which is strange because the first season's OVA was fantastic.

This OVA does not continue the story of the second season but is rather a one-shot side story. It does not really advance the relationship of the characters and does not reveal any important information, it's a bit more like the first season in that regard , given that it's mostly light hearted and flows pretty smoothly.

However, the big flaw is that almost the entire run-time is dedicated to Hachiman and Iroha rather than Hachiman / Yuigahama / Yukinoshita. This is a massive downside to the OVA since Isshiki Iroha, ... love her or hate her, is not a main character, she became a strong supporting character in the second season but not strong enough to usurp most of the runtime of an OVA from the main cast.

So I found myself struggling to complete this OVA. Not good, not recommended, can be easily skipped.

Since this is just an OVA, I will make this short. Oregairu have been the favorite anime in my heart for quite a long time, and if you guys are like me, then this OVA will really gives you a warm hug. (Since season 3 is not here yet, sadly.) This OVA starts of with a date, just like what you may have seen in the PV. Iroha and Hachiman somehow went on a so called "date" together. Iroha's personality was thoroughly explained in this OVA more than the entire season ... 2 in my opinion, since the first half of this OVA solely focuses on Iroha. It shows how Iroha and Hachiman will interact with each other if they are alone together. If you are not a fan of Iroha, then just bear through it, because the 2nd half is what this OVA is all about. This time, Hachiman went on a second date with Yukinoshita and Yuigahama. (without Iroha this time.) It really gives you a fuzzy and warm feeling that you have been longing for since that cliffhanger of season 2's ending. You're able to see that continuity of that heartwarming atmosphere of Oregairu, the 3 of them being happy together. And the ending was exceptionally well made. The part where the 3 of them took a picture together! Hachiman looks kinda awkward between Yukino and Yui, Yukino looks a little confused, and Yui smiled brightly like always. It makes you feel like you want to keep the way their relationships are; where no one cries and everyone stays happily ever after. (Depends on which one is your best girl :D) The final shot of the taken photo greatly displayed how their distance have come closer and I felt so fulfilled. Compared to the very beginning of season 1 ,throughout the whole anime. If you remember, Hachiman have always been sitting at the edge of the table while Yukino reads a book quietly at the other edge and Yui just keep babbling nonsense in the middle. They've finally come together and make a solid memory by taking their first picture together ever! So in short, Season 3, please come already! WE ARE ALL WAITING!!!

By the way, the scene where Yukinoshita was watching the cat in the pet shop was sooooooooooooo cute XD (19:30)

I was afraid that the OVA was wrong relevant in the plot because it is one of my favorite animes and this calm the anxieties of a season 3 (I live in hope): (
the OVA was a good excuse to enhance the development of Iroha and mostrarno a more human side of it. Less frivolous and smarter and certainly establesio a better relationship with hachiman leaving one typical stereotypes hope so maybe another OVA why not?
I definitely exceeded my expectations
the chapter is simple, but effective to show what is and but leaves you wanting more.

   I enjoyed the OVA

Watching this will make you feel refreshed once more since the season 1 and 2 series. This particular ova focuses on Iroha and Hachiman somewhat relationship I guess, and for many who read the light novel , it is very rewarding. Overall, this ova will give you a feeling of shipping Iroha and Hachiman (that is if you are a shipper). But I also kinda hoped this would be longer :3 because I usually 1-episode OVAs focused on a single character.

Haha, I liked the girl point system on guys being implanted on this ova episode. Sayonara Otakus, and you must watch this ... if you truly love Oregairu!

First of all, this is one of the best OVA's I've seen. (One of the ones that will probably go on par or beyond is the OVA of the sports anime Major titled "Message" which was wonderful as F <That is if you watched all 6 seasons of major although it will still be great if you don't bother>)

It has the feel of typical Oregairu episodes (The fact that it features Isshiki most of the episode makes it even better since I love her so much). The same things we know and love about Oregairu, the semi dramatic atmospheres, the great slow handed comedy that ... fills you with severe joy and pleasure while sometimes making you laugh your ass off (I prefer the former but I enjoy both),

The great characters and the subtle interactions and the amazing portrayal of their emotions through little gestures and subtle dialogues. the realism of everything while still remaining vocal to the fun of anime. and of course, the ever fun teases of how the characters really feel about each other amidst them not admitting anything and the comedy and drama that stems from it. Also I gave the sound a 10 (originally planning a 9) because first of all, the song Harumodoki has always been amazing, but more than that is the ED that fits the theme of this OVA and gives even more hints.

To end it all, the last part of it might just have gave away the probable events of season 3. It kind of saddens me but I love all of them so I'm fine with whoever he ends up with.

Sometimes you only need the slightest hint of hope to get through a difficult time in your life. If, like me, you live in a 1st world country and your 1st world problem is that you’re dying to see the ending of Oregairu, then this OVA IS that slightest hint of hope you’ll need to keep holding out for a glorious third season.

Story & Characters:

The simple setup of this OVA is Iroha wanting to take Hachiman out on a “date” so that she can practice for Hayato. As such, the entirety of this OVA’s enjoyment will be dependent on how you feel about these ... two characters, as Yukino and Yui only have a tiny bit of screen time towards the very end. While I, personally, was not the biggest fan of Iroha, her interactions with Hachiman in this episode are undeniably delightful. The two have great ‘not-chemistry’ in the way she temptingly plays with his emotions and the way he brushes aside all of her attempts at lowering his guard with empty, see-through cuteness. As their date comes to a close, they exchange some clever words along with their farewells and the whole thing begins again…

To Hachiman’s surprise, Iroha ropes him into going on a “date” with Yukino and Yui as part of a club assignment. There are a few nice moments with Yukino in this part of the episode, but, to my dismay, the actual “best girl” gets the short end of the stick on this one. Regardless, this little part serves as a nice preface to the ending of Oregairu Zoku and I enjoyed it, nonetheless.

Presentation:

If you’ve seen Oregairu Zoku, then you know exactly what to expect out of this. Hopefully you aren’t one of the few viewers who disliked Studio feel’s character redesigns for Zoku, as they are back in all of their cutesified glory. Likewise, the OP and ED are ripped straight from Zoku, with seemingly no additional music being made for just this OVA. If you haven’t seen Zoku and are somehow reading this, then hopefully you know what you need to do.

Conclusion:

Though it isn’t anything particularly amazing and doesn’t contribute anything meaningful to the story, the OVA does its due diligence in bringing a bit more personality to characters that may not have gotten their due in Oregairu Zoku(*cough*Iroha*cough*). If nothing else, it’s funny, entertaining, and pretty to look at, and that is still more than you would get out of most OVA’s. The hope is, of course, that this is a sign of better things coming in the future, but until then, I’d recommend all Oregairu fans watch this OVA to get their much needed fix of Hachiman and whoever your ‘best girl’ is.

Story: so honestly there is not a story to this whatsoever at all but its kinda neat in the sense of seen Hachiman going out with all the 3 main girls from the anime (even though i didn't consider Isshiki a main character from season 2) but whatever but liked i said its really where Hachiman and Isshiki kinda go out on a date than Hachiman and the 2 main girls go out and do stuff like playing ping-pong and such

Art: Art was very good nothing bad about it

Sound: was the same OP and ED so nothing new otherwise it was good

Character: i ... honestly don't feel like i need too explain this part cause they were pretty much the same characters or acted the same way in season 2 so honestly i don't feel like explaining this part

Enjoyment: i personally enjoyed this OVA was more of kick back relax and enjoy watching the comedy was decent no drama or really romance there was some but not a whole lot of it

Overall: giving this OVA a 8 was pretty good honestly i hope they make a season 3 so we can see Hachiman and Yukino finally get together i wanna see that so bad

Yahallo~!!!...and OVA of Hachiman having a "date" with Iroha

A "Practice Date" with Iroha Isshiki is like playing mental chess while having "fun" for Hachiman...and this OVA details Iroha and Hachiman's personalities that clash but having the chance for their personalities to bounce off one another quite well.

Yes, if that first statement is anything to go by Zoku OVA is by all means have the majority of the focus to Iroha Isshiki, the student council president and most definitely one of the more cunning, two-face moe-moe to femme fatale harem members for Hachiman through her verbal argumental jabbing to and throw with Hachiman. This also brings ... up that it has the same flavour from Zoku, the dialogue reigns in this OVA and even more for those Iroha x Hachiman shippers.

Now this OVA isn't especially ALL focused on Hachiman and Iroha though the majority does go to Iroha and really LA got some more points to Iroha as a more viable harem candidate, as the final say 5 minutes is dedicated to the Yukino and Yui x Hachiman shippers (though it felt like there was more Yukino than Yui). As for LA being in which ship?...LA is one of those rare people that still can't choose between Yui and Yukino (well add in Nao Touyama and Saori Hayami as their respective seiyuu's along with their character relationships with Hachiman having near equal screentime and some of the majority of the entire series, you can see LA's predicament). Nonetheless the final scenes for this OVA definitely told the audience something for those shippers and some are gonna sink...

*ahem* went off in a tangent nonetheless, the best voice actor for this OVA easily goes to Ayane Sakura as Iroha, Ayane's cunning to moe-moe vocals were brilliant and those vocals quickly bounced off and great chemistry well to Hachiman's Takuya Eguchi's cynical vocals quite well.

The quality in this OVA once again done by Studio feel (the same studio for the second season), still had a high quality and consistency throughout this OVA, the same quality from the Zoku itself. What can LA say but the animation quality was the same as Zoku.

So why should you watch this OVA, a fan of Yahari Ore no Seishun Love Comedy wa Machigatteiru?..heck yes, a shipper of any the three relationship with Hachiman of Yukino, Yui or Iroha, HELL YES.....the ending?...well that depends on your ship. Nonetheless this OVA was still a good OVA focusing on Iroha and if you wanted more Yahari Ore no Seishun Love Comedy wa Machigatteiru, then LA don't need to say the obvious and just watch it.

This OVA is actually more interesting for what DOESN'T happen than for what does, and to understand what I mean by that you need to have watched the two seasons of shows that precede this. Then seeing this makes a lot more sense than watching it as a stand alone.
For me, this episode is an observation of the stagnation our two core characters will remain in if they are not pushed or challenged from the outside. Having in their 16 year lives to (in different ways for different reasons) isolate themselves from the rest of the world, Hachiman and Yukino will maintain their ... social exile even while drawn into the public world. During the first part, when Hachiman somewhat unwillingly spends a day on the town with Iroha, the mood of the scenes seems to say that this is not an event he is enjoying but rather a sort of necessary maintanence of a working relationship he is obligated to uphold, about as much fun a changing the oil on your car or cleaning the gunk from the fish tank. Not much better is the mood when our primary trio repeat the exercise the next weekend. While Yui is able to enjoy the experiences of shopping and interacting with clerks etc., Yukino seems to cling to Hachiman, but not out of any sense of affection, but rather because he is the only available port in the storm of her borderline agoraphobia. The only time she seems comfortable is at the petshop mewwing at the kittens in the window.
I look at this OVA as a status update... saying that although there is something of a bond building between Yukino and Hachiman and Yui, it is still tenuous, and they still are very lost in the larger world outside of their respective self isolation bubbles. While Yui and Iroha (and certain other characters) have been allowed in, they still have not reached the point of being able to step out, at least of their own inspiration. That's why I ranked story and character at 6, because it's hard to watch and kind of sad that these charactes are still in their shells so firmly. Art and Sound ranked at 7 because they continue in the same refined and high quality as the general series. But overall it gets an 8 because it is establishing an honest and unpleasant truth about our characters, that they have seen the light of social interaction, they have yet to turn and approach its warmth.

This OVA focuses on Isshiki Iroha's will to help Hachiman get closer to Yukinoshita and Yuigahama. She's seen Hachiman struggle, doubt his actions and desperately try to protect the thing he treasures so deeply, the service club. And that affected her as well(most specifically, Hachiman's confession about wanting something genuine), which she herself admitted. She's relied on him for everything and to her, Hachiman is the only person she can reveal her true feelings to, be who she actually is, he became a genuine friend to her, something that she might have passively been longing for. So now she wants to help him of ... her own free will, to protect his special place.

So she goes about it in her own Isshiki Iroha fashion, invite her senpai out to a date and learn about him, also make *him* learn about how to deal with girls better. That's not all however, because she herself also needed a break from all the stress and having fun with her friend is the natural thing she could think of. Two birds with one stone, truly a scary kouhai. And we see her deal with her own feelings while this all happens. What does she feel about Hachiman? For she herself does not know, and desperately tries to learn for her own sake. But the fear that taking him away from the other two also keeps her from crossing a line, so she still tries to avoid it(This is why she keeps trying to pretend that she doesn't feel anything for him). It's to be expected, she's just a high school girl who is only now properly learning about the relationships of people, and she's very much scared of breaking down Hachiman's.

This is where her character development is completed. She makes the hard choice and does the best that she could do for Hachiman, who's done so much for her. She becomes a cupid to strengthen the relationship of the main three, all the while pushing away the feelings she might have had for him, for their sake. This is welly portrayed in the very last scene of the episode, where she finally shows a genuine smile for a moment but with a tinge of sadness. But this is what she wanted, a genuine something, a genuine bond, and she feels that she's finally achieved it by doing something for Hachiman, whom she truly thinks of as her friend.

OVAS are always filled with fanservice and so is this, but even with 23 minutes and the theme songs, this episode managed to add a lot more substance to Isshiki's character, which was very much necessary. I'll even go so far as to say it's better than any of the episodes in zoku because of how rushed they were.

This OVA for the second season is a single normal episode. Most of the time in this episode is taken up by Hachiman going on a 'date' with Iroha and near the end when Yukino and Yui see a picture he goes on a short date with them too. That's the entire OVA. There's no drama and it's really chill compared to the second season.

The characters are the ones described in the paragraph above. The animation, voice acting and music are the same as or similar to the second season.

It doesn't really add anything to the story aside from maybe shedding a bit ... more light on Iroha and doesn't seem like it's required to understand the story. It is however a nice break from the awkwardness/drama so I'd recommend watching it because of that.

As the release of Oregairu’s Volume 12 light novel is nowhere in sight, fans of this amazing series by Watari Wataru continue to thirst for any anime adaptation of what source material remains. Luckily, for us, there’s volume 10.5 and this OVA covers this part of the light novels. The wait has been gruelling, but as I burned through these 22 minutes, time passed awfully fast. Does this short piece deliver on the heavy expectations of long-time fans?

Story (8/10): The events in Oregairu Zoku OVA happen in the midst of the second season. As a summary, our amazing protagonist, Hachiman Hikigaya, ... goes on a date with his kouhai, Isshiki Iroha, as she has requested weeks before, long forgotten in the main character’s memories. The entire date is very enjoyable and is well adapted from the source material. This enigmatic pairing has perhaps the best chemistry between Hachiman and a girl in the series because of the difference in behaviour that Iroha displays to him in contrast to her regular public image. Their intriguing conversations have so many jabs and so much snarky wit embedded within them. Hachiman and Iroha’s interactions carry the plotline for this OVA and make time pass incredibly quickly, a sign of an entertaining anime.

A portion of this episode is also taken by a hangout segment with the other two main girls, Yukino and Yui, and the cynical male. This part lacks focus, as the evident lack of time can be seen by not adapting a different arc in volume 10.5. They have replaced that slightly unnecessary section with an albeit filler 6 to 7 minutes, which brings down the story points marginally. The ending photo is very satisfying however.

Art (8/10): Studio Feel does an amazing job with the art. The visual quality in this OVA is comparable with the TV series or even better. The style is very bright and polished. Iroha looks amazing in this art style because of how bright her brown hair appears. The backgrounds mainly comprise of standard urban scenes. The main standouts are how beautiful the characters look.

Sound (8/10): The opening of this anime is my favourite of all time. Yanagi Nagi is an amazing singer and the instrumentals are both uplifting and dramatic. The chorus is incredibly catchy and the beginning hooks the viewer easily. The buildup is effective in hyping up the viewer to the main portion with a fun drum roll. Every part of the song is nearly perfect and even the lyrics relate very well to the anime’s overall message and theme (that of chasing one’s paths and ideals, pursuit of genuine relationships). The soundtrack is the same as the TV anime, where some tracks may go unnoticed. It has a few tracks that may stick out like the piano version of the opening, but the soundtrack itself is not spectacular.

Characters (10/10): The main character is my favourite character of any medium of all time. Hachiman Hikigaya portrays the loner in such a way that it doesn’t alienate the viewer from his extreme viewpoint, yet easily relates his situations to the viewer. Through the past two seasons, his deep character development and backstory along with the other main characters, Yui and Yukino, provide profound reasoning for how they act in the OVA. Each character’s way of living makes sense through context, which makes each of these characters very likeable. They all have individual, human flaws that make them endearing and a breath of fresh air from the standard anime cast.

From a superficial view, these characters look like cardboard cut-outs (Hachiman is an edgy self-insert harem lead, Yui is hot airhead, Yukino is generic kuudere jk), but they are given complex personalities that put them above the rest. Iroha is also very interesting as a character. She provides an interesting contrast between Komachi and her, where Hachiman’s little sister has a very cute and genuine personality and this other kouhai replicates the same personality type in a fake way. The characters are all great.

Enjoyment (9/10): The date is remarkably enjoyable because of the shenanigans provided by it and the exceptional character interactions. The OVA is mainly comedic or just slice of life because that is mainly the purpose of OVA type anime. As explained by the story, this OVA episode definitely supplies any Oregairu fan with plenty of entertainment because anything of this amazing series is to be enjoyed. When is volume 12?

Overall (8/10): The Oregairu Zoku OVA is everything that the Oregairu fan wanted and possibly more. After an unsatisfactory to the second season of the TV anime, anything decent involving more of Hachiman and co. is greatly appreciated. Having a bit of source material left gives this OVA a good story and backbone for additional content and it delivers. Although no OVA is spectacular or ground breaking, this one is still very enjoyable.
