Synopsis

Kinnikuman has proven himself worthy to be crowned the next king of Planet Kinniku. But at the ceremony, five other Kinnikuman's arrive, all claiming to be the true prince of Planet Kinniku. Now, a Royal Survivor Tournament is being held to decide the true successor to the throne, and with the help and support of his friends and with his recently acquired knowledge of the Ultimate Technique (The Muscle Spark), Kinnikuman fights for what is rightfully his.

Background

The series starts after the Dream Choujin Tag Arc from the first series, ignoring the anime only Psycho and Goku'aku Choujin Arcs, and covers only the Survivor Match for the Kinniku Throne Arc. Additionally, the characters Detective Gobugari and Kinkotsu-Obaba do not appear in this series, and only Kinnikuman and Meat have their same voice actors from the first series.

Probably the best arc in the kinnikuman series in my opinion. Whats awesome about this series is that it makes the weird or odd looking characters in the tournament look like a threat or give them a reason to fight.

The dramatic moments will make your heart heavy and the fight scenes are violent and the attacks performed are so out of this world that it would be impossible to try to pull off in real life.

and as silly as this sounds, it seems that this anime does a better job of talking about friendship and teamwork ALOT better than any other 4Kids dubbed ...
