Anime shorts with cats as the main characters! If you absolutely love anime about cats, then these are must-watch!

Both very adorable shows about cats that have some sort of quirk to them. Bananya is a banana, Poyo is spherical. Both have short episodes, 3 minutes long. Both will make you question your age and cry/gush with how adorable they are.

Cute, funny, short shows with unique cats.

Cute cats (anthropomorphic cats at Nyanko Days) enjoying their lives and interacting with other animals and people, but Bananya focuses more on the animals than Nyanko Days.
report Recommended by AFJ
Both are short anime about cute cats and are recommended to watch after watching a heavy show.

Bananya and Pingu in the City are both children's series with animals going on uncommon adventures which have developed a periphery demographic online. While Pingu in the City lacks narration, both are easily accessible for all ages due to the simplicity of their storytelling.

Both are very cute shorts surrounding pets. However, there are no humans in Bananya unlike Inu to Neko.

Both anime are about animals that go about their lives while humans aren't around.

Both anime involve cute animals doing cute things, and amusing the viewer. They are probably targeted for children, but adults can enjoy them easily, too. They are short and you can watch entire season under 30 minutes (3min per episode).

Another cute anime about cats, aimed at a younger demographic, that is feel good and super fun and easy on the brain and soul

both are light-hearted short anime about special animals and their daily lives.
report Recommended by Sayaznk
Short anime aimed at a children's audience in which animals mix with everyday items. Nevertheless, both series can be enjoyed by all audiences and provide peaceful moments.

Short stories about "live food" character

Bananya is about feline-fruit hybrids while Corocoro Coronya is about a cornet-loving cat and its friend ghost called Cream. The kittens in Corocoro Coronya reminded me of Bananya. Corocoro Coronya by San-X predates the Bananya franchise, though.

If Bananya is about banana and cat hybrids then Kuusou Suizokukan has rabbit-penguins, parakeet-sea lions, and bear-jellyfish. Both are pretty cute and short.

Both Bananya and Inko Colors are about animals just being adorable. If you like one you should like the other as they are both slice of life of animals being cute. They both are also very short. Inko colors is only a handful of minute while Bananya is a series of very short episodes. They are both very cute shows.

Both have small and cute protagonists. Both are a little something cute to watch when you feel like it. They aren't too similar but they are both still cute slice of life anime I'd recommend for people of the other series. <3

Larva and Bananay are both lighthearted comedy series with small episodes and something to turn your brain off. :) So yeah if you need a short break then they are both great in their own way. One being overly cute and the other being more classic cartoonish humor :)

Short comedy anime with simple (but not bad) animation with protagonist who is an anthropomorphised food. Said protagonist is also cute.
report Recommended by abystoma2
Short anime about a hybrid between an animal and an object, with simplistic animation and uncomplicated content.
report Recommended by abystoma2
Cute and funny 3 minutes long episodes can be found in both series. If you like one of them and want to chill with a short comedy anime, the second one is right for you.

If you like short hilarious series with minimalistic flash-like artstyle, Bananya and Kuruneko are brilliant choices! Both portray cute cats and relationship between them and are quite the same in mood.

They're both cute and silly and has the same kind of art style.

Both cute, short and sweet anime series that will cleanse your palate after watching heavy shows, like Kabaneri of the Iron Fortress or D. Gray Man Hallow.

Cats. Both very cute. Both short and pointless, but will make you happy.
report Recommended by HetaliaAmore
Both series have cute food items moving around and having nice little adventures.

Both series are about cats that seem to have a special ability or trait that are absurd to your average cats (Mikan being a walking/talking/drinking alcohol cat, Bananya being a banana cat). Both are very fun watches for cat lovers, and are sure to bring a smile to your face. The differences would be Mikan Enikki is known to humans while Bananya is not, and Bananya is a very recent anime, made in 2016, while Mikan is a classic from the 90s.
