I watched Bokura ga Ita first, and I enjoyed it very much. Lots of drama and beautifull plot twists. Peach Girl is a little less realistic than Bokura ga Ita, but I enjoyed it as well. I certainly can say, if you liked the one, you'll definately like the other!
Both Bokura ga Ita and Peach Girl are about romances between teenagers in high school. Both have a lot of drama and some love triangles. Also, the two main males struggle with an internal conflict of their's that involve unrequited love with another woman. If you like drama, I recommend this.
Peach Girl and Bokura ga Ita are both heavy on high school romance, and revolve purely around just that. If you're up for some true doki-doki moments like in Peach Girl, Bokura ga Ita is the way to go.
Both series feature "on-again off-again" relationships between the main character and her love interest. In both series, there is also a third guy that gets caught up in the mix. Light comedy is prevalent in both series (although more noticeable in Peach Girl).
The most outstanding similarity, however, is that both anime focuses on, not if the girl gets with the guy, but the actual happenings and goings-on INSIDE of the relationship.
yep, are very similar anime, but BGI i'm not finished becoz BGI for children, level of peach girlish ofcoz higher in my opinion and more interesting before the end, end is not good... too big q-ty of troubles%)
Some characters from each anime is similar. Both have two guys fighting over one girl intertwined in the story. I absolutely loved Bokura ga Ita (it became my favorite romance anime over night, i give it a 10/10). Peach Girl was also very good and funny, although Bokura ga Ita was way more realistic and showed what a true relationship is like, Peach girl still had nice romance and drama. In other words Peach Girl is sort of a lighter/less realistic version of Bokura ga Ita. If you like Bokura ga Ita you will enjoy Peach Girl!
There are a lot of drama and complications on both series hence this recommendation. Then, of course, there is romance and comedy. While NANA is more for the mature audience, both series emphasizes relationship problems that are spawned from misunderstandings and jealousy.
Both of these series also have realism in which situations are present in every day's lives. It revolves around the struggle of a relationship and how to solve problems together through tough times.
I loved both of these anime series. Both have a mature romance, a lot of drama, and a touch of comedy too. Both protagonists have rivals trying to steal their boyfriends. Well, I truly recommend them if you like romance anime with drama. ^^
Both series has a girl in the center of attention with more than one guy interested. Both girls are also very athletic. Besides that, Okayashi actually reminds me a bit about Usui in his way of always silently helping the girl, but also by teasing/toying with her a bit at the same time.
The story lines are fairly similar and both main girl characters are not very confident themselves as their looks make them stand out (Risa is tall and Momo is very tan). The art in both are also slightly similar.
The setting, genre and art are different, but I really think someone that likes one of this animes will also like the other. For me they are both about `deciding which guy to choose´ and are nice to watch if you like to see something girly.
Even though Peach Girl has more comedy, both anime have this girl that is trying to sabotage the lead female characters love life. There is absolutely no communication in either anime between the characters resulting in a lot of nonsense that could have been avoided. They are fun, frustrating romances, that are worth watching.
this anime also has a good english dub and is a romance with ups and down that will keep you on the edge on your seat! the love triangles are very similar and every episode is entertaining. (no filler!!)
If you liked fruit basket you will probably enjoy peach girl you get the same kind of feeling From the characters of fruits basket as you would from the characters of peach girl there is still that playful aura and the personalities of the characters are quiet similar
Although there isn't a manipulative best friend in School Rumble, both anime have somewhat similar aspects. They both have love triangles, although School Rumble revolves around more characters than Peach Girl does. Also, School Rumble is more comedic than realistic.
Similar drama, romance situation and art, Both main heroine's have bleached hair and include a self-centered "antagonistic" girl, who causes drama within the series.
(Peach Girl has Sae and Gokinjo Monogatari has Mariko)
- Both are romance animes
-They are both kinda funny and really enjoyable
- Because of the prejudgement of everyone they cant get together with the person they love
-The loved Boys are very popular and hard-to-get :D
+TIP: BOTH AVAILABLE ON YOUTUBE :)
both high school romances
special A's got good comedy, yet genuine romance, peach girl is more serious n dramatic
u might even say special A is better...filled with positivity...n sweet blush-inducing scenes b/w the protagonists :)
both anime have strong female characters, who are very alike in their behaviour; both have some kind of problems & are ready to do a lot for the chracters they love; they also have some kind of an enemy
In these anime the two main female characters are competing with each other. In Peach Girl, we have frenemies Momo and Sae competing for love, and in Bihada Ichizoku we have twin sisters Sara and Saki competing for beauty.
The art styles are similar. Both anime convey views on what, in their opinion, makes a woman beautiful.
They both reminded me of soap operas with all of the drama that takes place. If you liked one, you'll more than likely enjoy the other.
Okay before you crucify me, hear me out. Peach Girl and 12 Kingdoms are in two completely different genres, and they are two completely different shows. However, they have one similarity: the main characters.
Youko and Momo are both girls that just can't quite fit in despite their best efforts. Both have red hair which people believe they dyed (they didn't), and both have one other main character that is jealous of them and bent on their destruction (Yuka and Sae). They also hide their true selves from everyone. Youko acted proper to please her family, friends, and frankly sometimes perfect strangers. Momo would apply large amounts of sunscreen, and stay out of the sun to not be as tan.
So even though Peach Girl is a romance and 12 Kingdoms has barely any, I think you'll enjoy either if you happened to like one of the characters. If not then just scroll on down to the next recommendation, this is not for you :) read more
