After watching 5 episodes of Amnesia, I can't help but recall Code:Realize everytime.
As both are based on Otome games, you'll know the romance we are accustomed to on regular reverse harems will be there.
The main reason I find the connection between these series is the main character. Both girls share a really similar personality. They are both shy, have a sweet and soft voice, and look very feminine. Of course, the fact both girls have amnesia, is an obvious coincedence point.
To be honest, none of both series are highly rated for me. The drama they try to recreate is exaggerated, and some particular decisions or attitudes the characters have are shallow and not that believeable. read more
Both are animes based off of games by idea factory, both have very handsome men, both have female leads who join the male leads with a set goal in mind, in code realize it was to stop isac beckfords terroist plot in Nil Admirai no Tenbin: Teito Genwaku Kitan its to find the evil books
Both have the same historical elements, reverse harem , mystery and fantasy, the differences, were: the Girl in Sengoku was from another dimension while the girl in Code Realize is in her own timeline and setting, the chemical composition of the girl in Sengoku has that boosting power like an energy drink, while in Code Realize the Girl is radioactive toxic as in one touch and you're dead.
Both: -are reverse harem
- main girl is not stupid
- beautiful artstyle
- fantasy and historical genre, with unique themes
- main girl shows love to only one boy
- kisses and hugs
- cute, sad and happy moments
- the girl ends up with someone
The only reverse harem anime that are not completely poor adapted, with great ending, character development and without annoying/plain/stupid heroine.
The main focus is Love between two protagonists. They love deeply each other like Romeo and Juliet! It's very romantic and you will cheer them untill the end. Also their love is inspiring because they fight the evil to be together forever. It might sound very unrealistic this type of love. But it is not.
It's inspiring to see such love in this series. Even though it's shoujo demographic not a yosei one. Anyway it's a romance show with a twist of drama. Hope you enjoy this show!
Despite different settings (Code: Realize taking place in steampunk Victorian England and Hakuouki in 19th century Japan), they had quite a bit in common.
Both shows tell us about genious scientists disappearing and their daughters searching for them, joining forces with group of mysterious men.
Both Hakuouki and Code: Realize are anime adaptations of otome games with good, solid plot and nice romance.
