Both have MC whom were curse to be harbingers of death when being touch, however, in one anime , the female MC has a reverse harem but only gets into a real relationship with one of them while in the other anime the MC there is a guy whom is already in a relationship with his maid and has yet.....Both MC's have that desire to break out of their curses.

Despite different settings (Code: Realize taking place in steampunk Victorian England and Hakuouki in 19th century Japan), they had quite a bit in common. Both shows tell us about genious scientists disappearing and their daughters searching for them, joining forces with group of mysterious men. Both Hakuouki and Code: Realize are anime adaptations of otome games with good, solid plot and nice romance.

Female leads are similarly confused and struggle to fit into society in the beginning due to their dark backgrounds and lack of knowledge about social norms.

Both have a really nice design of the character and interesting, unique, but similar stories. They are both really interesting to watch. They have one same premise - to save the world. They have pretty male characters and a couple of pretty female characters too.

While these two series might seem quite different, in my opinion, they have a very simillar vibe to them. Not really sure what it was, but something about "Appare-Ranman!" reminded me of "Code: Realize". Therefore as an enjoyer of both, I suggest watching "Appare-Runman!" if you enjoyed "Code: Realize".

Those 2 have in common: - reverse harem, romance, historical, shoujo -beautiful artstyle -MC is interested only in one guy -has a lot of beautiful romantic moments The only reverse harem anime adaptations that are not completely poor made, with great ending, character development and without annoying/plain/stupid heroine.

The main focus is Love between two protagonists. They love deeply each other like Romeo and Juliet! It's very romantic and you will cheer them untill the end. Also their love is inspiring because they fight the evil to be together forever. It might sound very unrealistic this type of love. But it is not. It's inspiring to see such love in this series. Even though it's shoujo demographic not a yosei one. Anyway it's a romance show with a twist of drama. Hope you enjoy this show!

Both have the same historical elements, reverse harem , mystery and fantasy, the differences, were: the Girl in Sengoku was from another dimension while the girl in Code Realize is in her own timeline and setting, the chemical composition of the girl in Sengoku has that boosting power like an energy drink, while in Code Realize the Girl is radioactive toxic as in one touch and you're dead.

Both anime have similar genres: shoujo, romance, reverse harem, Both lead heroines are shy, timid, kindhearted, and compassionate girls that have supernatural powers and abilities. Both lead heroines experience heart throbbing romances with a multitude of handsome and gorgeous males. Both lead heroines move into a mansion after being rescued by males.
