Preliminary Spoiler

Note: this review is spoiler free.

Hugely experimental and wonderfully unique, Schick x Evangelion is a roaring success.

The basic, initial, plot goes thus: a 14-year-old boy named Shinji is called to NERV (an organization charged with defending mankind from extinction, no less) by his estranged, seemingly cold and calculating father. There, his fathers' first words are an order to shave using an advanced Schick Razor.

The characters are excellent. This is an important point as the series is more about them than about the Angels or NERV. Shinji Ikari is one the most believable and genuinely sympathetic character ever conceived in anime. Though some would complain that ...

This is my favourite anime of all time.

The original show Neon Genesis Evangelion has absolutely nothing on this masterpiece, managing to explore the deep existential and religious themes of NGE within a much shorter timeframe and in a much less heavy handed manner. It helps capture a glimpse into the psyche of Ikari Gendo, one of the most cold-hearted and enigmatic characters of anime, and gives him a much greater backstory in 2 thirty second advertisements than NGE did in 26 full length episodes and 5 movies (hurry up and release 4.0 already Anno I'm sick of waiting for fu..)

The soundtrack destroys Evangelion's soundtrack. Every ...

The REAL way to watch Evangelion. That TV series? The movie? The remake movies? NOTHING compares to this might. Truly this is the definitive version to watch all of Evangelion. It's all you need and that's the best one can ask for.

The character development is truly fantastic, the very moment shave impact begins is when truly a philosophical moment happens! Shinji strangling Asuka in End of Evangelion? Who needs that ending when we have the beauty of Gendo's Shave Impact!

Makes you want to buy a Schick razor and truly does change your life all for the better. Where would humanity be without this special? ...

This is the greatest anime- no, piece of media to ever be conceived by mankind. The art direction was amazing and the idea to have real-life products such as the Schick® Razor that causes The Shave Impact was a truly unique idea. The struggles and character development characters such as Gendo go through when eventually starting The Shave Impact is like nothing else out there. And at the end, all his efforts payed off as Gendo became a new, cleanly shaven man that now gets all the girls. I don't know what else I could say except that this is a must-watch for any anime ...

Okay so I was scrolling through YouTube and I stumbled upon this masterpiece XD

Story 6/10

I'd say mediocre, I mean it's a commercial what do you expect.

Art 7/10

The art was okay. The only thing that bothered me was When Gendo's mouth was opening was kind of creepy.

Serious, who cares about the Evangelion series or the Rebuilds? The only important things we must know about the Evangelion franchise are contained here. We must accept the Shaving Impact! Shinji, pick up the freaking blade!

Now being serious, who had this idea? It's so stupid, and exactly because of that it is so funny. I can't lie saying I dislike it. I never imagined I would laugh with Gendo Ikari trying to sell to me a razor blade, but I laughed so hard I cried.

It's fun how Japan can make the depressed kids (and dads) from Evangelion sell practically anything, and it's impressing how ...
