Kyoukai no Kanata : I'll Be Here - Kaho-hen - Yakusoku no Kizuna. Please take in account that I did not see the movie where this music video appears, and only watched her as stand-alone, so I may not be able to hold some fair judgement.
Story (5) :
I didn't see the movie, nor did I understood the lyrics, but I'm sure as hell confused why they're in sport mood at the beginning then dancing the hell outta them in front of the monster from the anime, but well in Recap Timeline we trust...
Art (7) :
There was the moe art-design that got me into anime, check.
Original scenes around the end, check. Some scenes were reused from the anime, but perhaps it's because there was a recap-movie.
Only stuff worth credits, no CG involved, not as I could see, therefore they really did animate everything from scratches. Honestly speaking the backgrounds weren't out-standing and only ten or fifteen backgrounds were present.
Other than that, the usual special-effects that have become average and nowadays would feel lacking.
Sound (6) :
Let's face it, I'm nowhere from speaking Japanese, so I understood crap. But when I looked up the lyrics they made sense. And somehow they related well the anime story. I remarked how the different female voices were animated by the two girl characters, but what saves it a 5 is the bass. Or the drum. Whatever instrument that goes BUMP BUMP BUMP.
Character (6) :
Well, they're moe, but I'm used to them, Kyoukai no Kanata was my first anime. Nothing to say for the boys, their very presence is unexistent at best. But there was a new character (one I never saw), the girl at the end, but maybe I simply forgot, it's been a while.
Enjoyment (6) :
It is an AMV, so there's not much to enjoy, if it is from a recap-movie this is obviously advertisement ; but I'm not one to care for the nature of things. Perhaps it is also fan-service, so I'm just hoping you guys enjoyed, but I did not especially. Plus the song wasn't that good...
Overall (6) :
Only hardcore fans of the series should find it interesting, for me it was good enough to want to review it (being my first review). Generic art, average song, unheard of story, usual characters. There is nothing peculiar enough in this AMV to give it more points.
