The story centers on an introverted high school student named Eiji Hoshimiya with a huge secret—he wished for the destruction of the world when he was younger. Fairies give certain people special powers called Orders, and what Order Users can do with their power depends on their wishes. Ten years after the Great Destruction, Eiji struggles to come to terms with his immense power.

This OVA series can be described in simple terms. I'm pretty sure everyone will have the same idea after finishing this OVA: What the fuck am I watching?

Seriously some random events happen, and some cool looking scenes are being showed. There is no such thing as an overall story connecting scenes. At some point your brain might even start hurting from even trying to understand what is going on in this show.

Still I kinda liked it though. I think I may asume this OVA serves as some sort of preview for the upcoming anime. If that is the case they did one thing right: they read more

I think this OAV is definetely insteresting to watch if you already know the story. So watch it after reading the manga or even watching the TV series.

If you watch if before doing that you won't understand what's going and who the characters are. Plus, it could spoil some events of the tv series.

But anyway, the animation is pretty cool, the characters are interesting...

It is a story with supernatural events and it the kind of story that I personnally, like.

So I will go further in the TV series and come back finish this OVA later...

The OVA is kind of confusing without having watched the rest of the series. Chronologically it's implied to occur after the main series.

It is similar to parallax dream theory I wrote in 2006 and appeals to the Japanese hard-boiled wonderland type of fiction. Essentially, the mental or metaphysical is a plane that connects all realities, and dreams are when you tap into the experiences of your self from alternate worlds.

In this episode, though Eiji has cleared his world of Orders, other worlds exist where it still works. Certain encounters trigger crossover memories and feelings of deja vu.

There's no real plot to this episode other read more

This has the same concept of, for making an example, the first episode of Haruhi Suzumiya's first episode. You don't know wtf you are watching, and it literally spoils all. But it has to be seen before the series anyway imho. It got released before the TV version for a reason. I will also cover the TV series when i'll finish it, atm i am at epidose 5, and the only flaw that i found was that failed fanservice scene at the start of episode 5. This OVA covers chapter 7 of the manga, that is great.
