The path to find yourslef is always a lot nearer than you have imagined. To seek for the person you love, and yet, not torealise that this person is right beside you. That is the main story line in both Yotsunoha and True Tears in which the lead male characters want to prove themselves. They often can't express their thought clearly, causing confusion and sometimes arguments between the female characters. But in the end everything is set and the boys find their happiness.

Premise is the same - reunion of childhood friends - whereas Myself; Yourself is more involved since its a series.

The story since it begins with old childhood friends meeting again during highschool. After many years, they all want to recall the good memories of their childhood spent together and clearing up those feelings, they've left behind. Both shows are themed around the topic of childhood love and friendship. In Tonagura the male protagonist and his sister move in to their old home from 10 years ago, which happens to be right next to the female protagonist's home. Tonagura relies heavily on humor and fanservice and is based on a manga. In contrast to Tonagura, the characters of Yotsunoha meet up in their old school, now abandoned  read more

Both anime are about a group of childhood friends meeting up with each other again after many years, for a cause, promise or because of some kind of lingering regret.
