Overlord

The final hour of the popular virtual reality game Yggdrasil has come. However, Momonga, a powerful wizard and master of the dark guild Ainz Ooal Gown, decides to spend his last few moments in the game as the servers begin to shut down. To his surprise, despite the clock having struck midnight, Momonga is still fully conscious as his character and, moreover, the non-player characters appear to have developed personalities of their own!

Confronted with this abnormal situation, Momonga commands his loyal servants to help him investigate and take control of this new world, with the hopes of figuring out what has caused this development and if there may be others in the same predicament.

Just watch eps 1-3 it is very good to watch. MC has limited abilities in certain field but the NPC somehow filled it up.
The story is unique, and not that easy to predict.
Art style of the anime made by Mad House it is very good.
The character is not well rounded but the strength yes. Eventough Ainz is stupid but he is smart enough and strong enough in certain fields.
The main characters stay in their character also there are possibility of character developments which is interesting on how they are setted up.
I think you will enjoy it after watch eps 1-3. Good anime for lonely ...

Overlord Season 1

If I had to describe the anime in one word it would be "interesting".
The premise, while overused, had enough unique elements to make it special. The world-building is fair, nothing out of the ordinary in either way.
The story takes its time, so around ep7 when there are two ways it can go, the course is still uncertain.
The characters are almost all stationary, but they are that by design, so the entertaining element is not in the direction of their arc, but in the learning of their character.

The culmination of those things is Overlord's biggest catch, and its biggest flaw at the same time.

Low effort trash. From the opening scene, this anime felt like something written by an untalented self published writer. The dialogue is heavy-handed and clumsy, the central character is extremely overpowered and invincible, the overt haram theme is out of place, the characters are severely underdeveloped and one-dimensional, and every problem which arises is summarily dealt away with a heavy application of plot armor. The animation leaves a lot to be desired, with computer generated content jarringly out of place.
