Angel Core: Tenshi-tachi no Sumika

A good hentai. However like most hentai it is ruined because of how cruel it is.

Although it has a “happy ending” I didn’t consider it happy.
So it involves “angels” who you need to sleep with to activate their power or something (seen this concept of sexual-intercourse-to-activate-power in every magical girl hentai)

So the army is using them as weapons or something.
And of course there’s a brutal gang rape scene that messed up the enjoyment for me, a bit messed up for me. Don’t get me wrong I’ve seen many many hentai involving rape but sometimes like in this one I wish it wasn’t there.

The ... only reason I give this a good rating even if I want to give it a bad rating is because one of the character named Onoma (a Lolita for all you lolicon fans) is so adorable. The other characters are Salsa a fellow “angel” and Ralph the one in charge of their daily sex charge. Ralph is a good and gentle man.

In the end the 3 of them try to escape the facility.
Im not gonna spoil anything. It has a ‘happy’ ending. But of course bad things happen on the way.

Unlike most hentai, this anime has a level of depth. The story is far more interesting than any I've ever seen in a hentai.

Too bad it only has two episodes. Honestly, it needed a few more episodes to flesh out the story and give the characters even more development.

Believe it or not, this anime isn't for hentai lovers who are trying to get their fix. It is far too cruel and gruesome for that. Not Attack on Titan gruesome, but just weird enough to take the "sexy" out of the show. There is only one handsome, nice man in the whole series.

It's not that ... there aren't any sexual scenes, but the story outshines the sex in every way.

The story has themes of political unrest, war, human cruelty, and the horrors of a dictatorship. It also has a bit of a magical girl feeling, but that's only touched on once in the show.

Strongly recommended for people who are looking for something deeper from hentai, but those that love hentai? Stay away from this series.
