While Kimikiss revolves around the main male characters and each of their respectable relationships, Amagami SS revolves around the single male lead and his interactions with each girl that has a crush or strong feelings for him. Amagami SS's story is made up of arks for each girl while KimiKiss is just one story that bounces between characters. Both have similar feels to them so if you liked one then you'll like the other.
Very similar premise and feel, i.e. a romance with a bit of drama and a hint of comedy. Not surprising since they're both from the same creator, which is obvious from the similar character designs. Other similarities include annoying little sisters, swimsuit scenes and perky upperclassmen who might just be hiding or denying their own feelings.
Both have the same creators. if one chooses or considers the Haruka Arc for amagami, then both haruka and mao have the common theme for being a year older than their respective boyfriends junichi and kouichi, although regardless of which arc one chooses, mao and haruka share a common theme of being the only seniors of the 2 respective groups of main heroines, plus have two freshmen for each heroine. amagami's nakata and nanasaki, and more than 2 second years. kimikiss' hoshino yuumi, eriko futami shijou mitsuki and asuka sakino and amagami's sakurai, kaoru, and tsukasa. if one follows the kaoru or the morishima arc, both females may have similarities with mao mizusawa. morishima and mizusawa are both older than the male leads while with mao and kaoru, both girls have the similarities of being childhood friends and girlfriends of the male lead read more
I DO NOT RECOMMEND watching Kimikiss Pure Rouge if you are hoping for some happy ending romance like Amagami SS. There's really no similarities between this two anime other than it's set in a school and the same creator, also the plots are totally different. Now the manga of Kimikiss does resembles Amagami SS with the different happy endings and one only male main character.
Sorry but this recommendation will only help those who have watched Amagami SS.
Both originate from dating by the same company. Kimikiss has a complicate yet interesting love-rectangle. It still have romance and comedy components. If you like Amagami SS, you should definitely check out Kimikiss.
If you watch both of these series, it will give you a very similar feeling. Although Amagami SS only has one main male protagonist, both series has that romance/school life setting. Keep an eye on both of these series if you're a fan of dating sims filled with drama, comedy, romance, and school life.
If you're looking for a romance anime with MC and different Heroine(per arc) then this will bfit your bill
Both Main Male Lead dates a different heroine every arc
Both anime contains the same school setting
Both anime contains drama
All in All this is a great anime to watch especially if you're into dating sims
Similar art with both dealing with the relationship of more than one person.
While in True Tears it is mostly focused on one male main character and his relationships and putting the other a bit in the background, are in kimikiss two male leads.
Both shows are Slice of Life, Romantic, Comedies revolving around the relationships between various characters. They also have adopted a similar art style with, water colour backgrounds, superb character designs and bits of CG. ^_^
In both series, there are multiple romances that are focused on, although one relationship is the base. The route that the main relationship takes affects the other relationships in some way. Both use the same or similar techniques to keep the viewers interested. And last but not least, they are both executed well.
Kimikiss and True Tears are both visual novel adaptations that feel more like they're based off of a shoujo manga rather than a male-targeted eroge. Neither of them are too heavy on the harem themes (particularly Kimikiss), and they both feature intense yet logical plots that leave you at the edge of your seat waiting for the next episode. Fast paced, dramatic, and realistic; both shows are must-watches for those who want a good romance but are sick of shoujo cliches.
Similar feelings when you are watching them.
When I watched True Tears, I felt that every girl was absolutely splendid, and I felt a quite sad because, of course, only one of them would be able to get the boy who she loved. With Kimikiss I have felt exactly the same.
In both animes, you feel a quite sad about one of the girls because at the end you was in love with both of them!; but at the same time, you feel a injection of courage because that girl continues her life with cheerfulness. They are a real teaching about how to behave when you suffer because of love.
And on the other hand, you feel also very happy because of the girl whose love won, she is worth a fortune as well!
At first, Kimikiss seems very different from True Tears, but when you move forward the anime, you can see the similarities. read more
Both animes follow relationships that progress through the story. Both animes are produced by J.C. Staff, and both have the same artist(Marble) do the OP/ED. Marble did the Kimikiss OP and Hatsukoi Limited ED.
Both of them are about first love, with several interlaced love stories.
The expression 'uncontrollable feelings' is very important in both of them, it is like the summary of the complete series.
Main characters are high-school girls in both animes.
- Hatsukoi is much more echhi, KimiKiss is mainly romantic
- Hatsukoi is more comedy
First of all, both of them are very good school-life romantic comedies.
The two of them are about frienship, true love and have love polygons. Also, the two are slow-paced with very funny scenes, but with a little of drama too.
Though I think Toradora is better than Kimikiss, Kimikiss Pure Rouge is a very good worth-watching romantic anime too.
Kimikiss has some semblance of what School Days might have turned out to be, if the characters in School Days hadn't snapped and lost their minds. Both Kimikiss and School Days (except for the last few episodes) share much in common - the teen angst, the drama, the love triangle. Perhaps Kimikiss has more of a larger cast and a bit of a wider variety of characters though.
In both animes you have two girls in love with the same boy, and both of them are really splendid! Perhaps one of them a more normal and sweeter girl, and the other one much more energetic and crazy, but both splendid!
You would wish that both of them could get the boy they love, and in the end it is a bit difficult to choose which of them is your personal favorite.
-There's something about the female leads that makes them very similar
-The setting is quite similar ( clubs, school festivals etc..)
-The path that romance is taking is kinda the same (misunderstandings , bad timing ..)
Both series focus on dramatic love triangles with a more serious and mature vibe. It's all about the swaying emotion of the heart, and the unfortunate circumstances and misunderstandings it brings the characters. Also while White Album 2 uses music, KimiKiss uses film.
Did you watch either Rouge or white album and want to watch something exactly the same? Not just similar, literally the same. I don't understand how this recommendation isn't higher, these shows are quite legitimately the same thing. Although if you watched White Album 2 first you might be disappointed, it is the better of the two.
Both are similar in the way you have more than one main character.
The story revolves around all of them, following each of them at different times, their expedition and their relationships.
Kimi-kiss is simpler and more straightforward than ef - a tale of memories!
Kimi ni Todoke is a very good story about innocent love between two high school students and although doesn't have to same feel as Kimi-kiss, it does share the quality so if you liked Kimi-kiss's romance, I'm sure you'll enjoy Kimi ni Todoke.
As for starters, both series takes place in a school life setting. The main characters are in their youths where they experience school life at their fullest with activities, stress, and dating. Obviously, there is drama and romance in both series.
There are a variety of characters in both series and most of them gets involved in one way or another throughout each episode. It doesn't follow a direct route where there's only one linear story. Rather, it involves intertwined arcs. Romance is a major part of both series.
Both of them are about childhood friends which are almost like brother and sister. But when they have grown up the question is: are their feelings still the same?
And both animes are really cute and pure love stories, you really feel happy when you are watching them.
If you liked Kimikiss, I think you'll enjoy Lamune, and viceversa.
these two anime is very similar in the fact that they both shows the real romance and dramatic slice of life. after watching these two anime you will realize that they only have few episodes to satisfy your Heart. ^_^ i felt loneliness during the last episode of kimikiss.. i wish it has a 2nd season.
These are actually not very similar, but if you liked one you will like other because these days it is not easy to find a romance anime that does not turn out to be harem. However, these two are not like that and are very satisfying with their romance and drama. In both, the main character loves only one girl. In Kimikiss, it first looks like the main loves another girl but the day his friend comes to his home, he starts to like her—he just doesn't realize this until end. In short, if you love romance anime that does not contain action or fantasy, you will like both these series. read more
both are about high school students and their love stories. The two animes are about first love, with several interlaced love stories. also, their genres are similar and both have a romance with a bit of comedy.
one more similarity is that the two animes are about shooting a movie for a film club.
in my opinion, because Kimikiss has 24 episodes, its story and characters develop better than the Itsudatte Bokura no Koi wa 10 cm Datta.
Both series takes place at a school setting with various clubs and drama.
Both series has comedy as well as romance featuring various characters of different personalities.
Both series' character designs are similar as well as the artwork.
The Characters are very similar to one another. Kouichi has a similar appearance as Raku. They both have a crush on a shy and reserved girl; Onodera in Nisekoi and Yuumi in Kimikiss. Both female leads are smart and lively. They both realize their love for the male lead. Both of the shows have a love-triangle. Both are also set in school.
The only difference is that Nisekoi has elements of mystery in it and kimikiss has two main leads.
They are my top, favorite romance anime! Amazing romance, beautiful girl and guy, challenges, love triangle, and more. Ookami Shoujo is really funny also, so good choice if you looking for more than romance.
The animes both deal with romance and the caused problems.
Though there're not quite the same of the content, the way of telling the relationships between the people is similar, you could say that's the biggest commonness: Both tell the story of a group of people, somehow all together related, and somehow not.
Each person deals with his own problems, feelings, triangle-relationships and future and both are very good romance animes.
One main difference is, that in Honey and Clover you're more into the boys side, in Kimi-Kiss on the girls.
If you like a story, with a whole bunch of people dealing with love and life, I think you'll find interest in both of them.
High school slice of life romantic dramas. Need I say any more?
Kimi kiss shows several characters fall in love, with several love triangles, whilst H2O there appears to be the obvious couple, however is much less predictable and more development on the character rather than relationship side. Both good similar romantic dramas though.
Both have a main character returning home after some time, and it picks from there where they try to build relationships and make friends.
They both have more than one relationship going on.
kimi-kiss is more straight-forward involving its main characters, while for myself ; yourself, some of the main characters have a hidden unknown past.
Once again, there is the similar situation where the main male (at least, one of them) and female protagonists haven't seen in each in ages and the time that follows this reunion. Unlike Yoake Mae Yori Ruri Iro Na, Kimi-kiss ~ pure rouge includes a couple of love triangles that revolve around the two main male characters. Both have a very light heated feel that is fun to watch but include the flair of drama that adds a bit of a spin to the series.
both series depicts the main protagonists as childhood friends that were separated for many years and reunited at the beginning of the series, and both nana aihara and hinata okano are both cheery, childish and energetic, and are both younger sisters to their onee-chans kazuki aihara and makoto okano
