Dash! Kappei

If you speak greek then you should definitely check out the greek dubed version. It is extremely funny and entertaining and the voice actors are really good. The art is old but good. The characters are just perfect. They are funny and have some development. It's nice that the story doesn't stick to one kind of sports. Also, I really enjoyed the included explanation for some sport terms.
The MC is high school student who joined the basketball team and the basketball tournament but later more things are happening to him that he must overcome and more tournaments to join and win. He fell in love ... wih his classmate who apparently wears white panties that give him strength to continue fightingg. He also develops ridiculous techniques, on which law of physics do not apply, in order to win.
Overall, it's a light and enjoyable anime.

If there’s an anime which allowed me to enjoy many moments of pure relax and fun, while getting immersed in a beautifully depicted ‘80s Japan, that’s for sure Dash Kappei (Gigi la Trottola in italian).

This anime is a cheerful slice of life gem set in a Japanese school, which tells about a little and lively guy, seeking to become a sport star in order to conquer the heart of her beloved Akane.

He will do so by passing through sports like basket and ping pong with many crazy moments and the entire story pace being particularly hilarious and never boring. In Italy in particular, ... it got very popular in the ‘80s thanks to its great dub. I’ll never forget you Gigi! Thanks for reading me!
