Totsuzen! Neko no Kuni Banipal Witt

there are some simulator things -There's a Cat World -People who enter the cat world somehow turn into cats 

Both films are about cats with some magical elements. And the protagonists also go on a journey of self-discovery to be better people and improve the bonds between the people they love. 

There are some common things between both animes. Such as both have to deal with cats and have weird things happen in different worlds. Even though one os more surreal then the other they are still similar in some ways.  

both are about boys who are taken to another world. One based on dreams and the other based on cats. The plots play out a bit differently but they felt extremely similar to me.
