It took me some time, but for the confused, here you go. This is episode 16.5 from the second season, a backstory episode that delves into the relationship between of Kuroko and Aomine, how they were and how they became. Aside from the drama and setup, it feels like a chill and very cute episode, showing the OG Generation of Miracles team, I believe, it's even the first time Akashi is shown to be active in a game. They all look very young and middle-school-esque for the first time, something that really bugged me whenever they would show a related backstory on the parent show.

Kuroko no Basket Mou Ikkai Yarimasen ka

Tetsuya Kuroko and Aomine Daiki is the best teamups for me. They are the true light and shadow. This extra episode show how the two met on their middle school. How Kuroko struggle to keep on playing basketball and how Aomine cheered him up to move forward. It will also show how Aomine changed because of the talents overpouring within him and how helpless Kuroko is at that point of time.

This episode is a must watch, in my opinion. If I had to say when you should watch it, I'd say that it's probably best to watch it right after Aomine meets Kuroko in the Teiko arc during the third season of the anime. Essentially, rather than seeing the entirety of Kuroko's time at Teiko, this is a narrowed down summary of that time that just focuses on Kuroko and Aomine. It'll take you from the time they began their friendship to the final moments of it before they grew apart and went on to different high schools.

I think showing the growth of Aomine and ...

English.
Without a doubt I love these types of episodes, they show us a different side of this boy's rivals, who they were and what happened to them to get to the point of who they are today.
Here we see Aomine's point for me, one of the most interesting in the series and at the same time detestable, I always hated the way in which he didn't care about anything, but here they show what a good person he can be and was, they show us how they discovered the Kuroko's hidden talent and how he was used for the team, something interesting to discover in ...
