Singing boys, reverse harem, Daisuke Ono (second season UtaPri). Lots of cheesy moments and lots of men driven to woo the One Strumpet.
Both are romantic fan service driven towards ladies (and curious males)
The male voice actors for both series sing in the beginning and endings (only Uta No Prince Sama is more geared towards the men and their individual songs where this one is more geared towards mythology in some way)
And both are Otome game series by Broccoli.
School setting, bright colours, fluffy romance, cute boys, similar comedy/silly antics, one girl changing the boys' lives, and lastly, same game company.
You can also relate the characters together as well because they share similar tropes. Ittoki/Apollon, Balder/Cecil, Tsukito/Masato, Takeru/Syo just as an example. =P
Well, both have the harem aspect of the show. The male characters of each harem really resemble the other. I just recently began Uta No Prince-sama and as soon as I saw each character I knew that each character resembled the other. Such as Jinguji Ren and Balder Hringhorni for instance. Or maybe even Ittoki Otoya and Apollon Agana Belea. Also, in Uta no Prince-sama there's some singing action going on there, now in Kamigami no Asobi, there's also singing from each character but only in the opening and the closing of each episode. Both plots are quite amazing and I seriously do recommend one or the other if you liked either of these amazing shows.  read more
First of all, they are both reverse harems. The MC in both series is adorable and makes her own choices. They are both really lively and fun to watch. It is just nice to watch them if you need a boost of happiness!
>The female leads are similar in some ways.
>The Bishōnens in both are not human.
>Both are reverse harems.
>Both the stories are set in a school.
>Both have plots evolving around romance while complete a very different agenda.
I enjoyed Kamigami no Asobi, so I'm hoping you'll like it too... ◠‿◠
If you're really into the whole gods, demons and vampires kinda thing...this one is absolutely amazing. The touch of romance will totally will break your heart.
Reverse-harem in both animes and relatively short.
Both series have a rather unique story for a reverse harem genre . There's not much fanservice in these animes , but I found them enjoyable to watch . The ending of these might bring out some tears like it did to me.
Both have the same reverse harem.
Both female characters have the first name Yui.
Both same female characters found themselves having to deal with rowdy boys.
One has a full 25 mins duration while the other was only limited to 12 mins.
One was more of a horror genre, while the other has a slice of life.
The same plot where a girl gets recruited (against her free will) to deal with a bunch of misfit guys, except the girl in one anime serves as the guys' bloodbank, while the girl in the other anime serves as game for the guys.
Both of these anime are ones of the best reverse harem you will ever see. In both anime there is 1 main female character which is almost trapped in this specific place and there are people that are not letting her escape. Amnesia is also an anime based around those facts however in her case there is no-one holding her back from escape because she is almost trapped between different world. this is similar to kamigami no asobi because both of the female characters can return home when they have done what they had to do. Amnesia is similar to diabolik lovers because both of the female characters are confused by their situation and are unable to control things that are happening around them. read more
-> They are both reverse harem
-> All the boys are beautiful
-> They all live together (to some extent)
But, in my opinion, Kamigami is a lot better since there is an actual plot to the show. Also, unlike Ema, the protagonist actually reacts to the advances she gets.
Both animes have a character/characters learning about something new and meeting new people you never
expected you would meet
Yui = Yona since both meet new people who are not 'human'
Both are great and have something to do with 'Gods' and 'learning and meeting new people'
Both animes have gods/guardians
- the god of dark/underworld: Clavis & Hades
-the god of water/sea and storms: Lumiale & Takeru
-the god of fire: Loki & Oscard
-the god of light: Julious & Balder
And both of the main heroine ( Yui and Angie) have to save the world with the help of the gods/guardians
They're both reversed harems, with heroines who get in contact with the guys one at the time. The only thing that's different is that Kamigami is with gods, and in Amnesia the main heroine has amnesia.
In Kamigami no Asobi, we have a strong-headed girl, (Yui) with 6 boys/gods falling in love with her, and all with different personalities. In La Corda d' Oro, we also have a strong-headed girl (Kahoko) with almost the same personality as Yui, and 5 main boys who like her. In both anime, the main girl has a cute little helper who guides the main girl in doing the right thing. In KnA, we have Melissa, whom I suppose is a spirit of some kind. and in La Corda d' Oro there's Lily, a music fairy. Well, in conclusion, they're both reverse harems that have characters with same personalities and similar plot. read more
Both are based on reverse harem visual novels.
Heroine starts living in a "different world" full of pretty boys with magical abilities, though in Kamigami no Asobi these abilities are more related with mythology since that's the main theme there, but is very much the same with the heroine discovering a little bit about each characters and about herself every episode.
The boys also seems to have lots of troubles and dark pasts, so the heroine will start to find out about this and help them in the end.
Both reverse-harem series explore colorful medieval-themed worlds. (DxPAC is set in a made-up triad of kingdoms and KnA is in an academy created by Zeus to tutor Greek, Norse, and Japanese gods.) Being of the reverse-harem genre, they often poke suggestions that the many guys surrounding the female protagonist are falling in love with them.
Both has relations with Gods so they're supernatural. If you like watching Kamisama Hajimemashita / Kamisama Kiss because of the reverse harem, you'll definitely like Kamigami no Asobi. Both anime are also romance-comedy which means its they are both light-hearted and have humorous plotlines.
Main character is transported to another world. She is the chosen one who will change the people around her. She meets her protectors/guardians who fall in love with her. Reverse harem anime and romance.
-Both are reverse harem anime
-Both were adapted from otome games
-Similar art style even if the animation in Kamigami no Asobi is way better
- Both have a dense, but hard working main heroine that is fast to adapt to the new surroundings.
Similarities between both anime series:
-Has Multiple Male Leads w/ 1 Main Female Lead
-Characters have certain skills, and abilities.
Kamigami no Asobi is based on mythology. It has gods from a ton of different cultures like Egypt, Norse, Greek, etc. Magic-Kyun! Renaissance is centered around a female lead named Kohana. She attends a prestigious academy where each person possesses a special talent or ability.
How these anime are similar:
- Both Akane and Yui are pulled from their respective worlds into another dimension.
- Both are reverse harems where the main female protagonist is followed around by 8 guys.
- The main male characters in both possess, more or less, super powers, albeit one is that of gods and the other...hmm...demon exterminators?
Either way, if you liked one then you're bound to like the other. Please enjoy!
Reverse Harems in both cases; and in both cases, the girls did not ask for it. Hiiro no Kakera is set in Japan while Kamigami is set in some new European-inspired world. The harems are comprised of Gods and/or spirits.
