Both movies of LWA have a basic thing in common with Kiki's Delivery Service: rather than focusing on hot witches or mahou shoujo-type magical girls, they feature witches of a more classic feel (e.g brooms, etc..). Both movies will warm the viewer's heart, and the adorable protagonist will be there to save the day! A must for lovers of magical/supernatural anime with sublime artstyle and a nostalgic feel.

Quiz Magic Academy and Little Witch Academia are both about learning magical teens having fun, defeating terrible monsters, exploring, causing chaos, all in a magic school.

Both protagonists don't have "natural powers" and have to work hard just to get it. They both work hard to be the best in their dream school where they both make friends. They're both bullied by white-haired assholes who say they probably can't achieve their dream. I'm a girl though, and actually found My Hero Academia more interesting because there are a lot of unanswered questions I have on Little Witch Academia which weren't covered in the movie.

Happy feelings, friendship, cute art and magical girls. A happy anime to enjoy with the whole family good for kids while still super enjoyable for adults. Cardcaptor Sakura goes deeper in to its world than LWA, and in my personal opinion I found both worlds to be extremely interesting and exciting yet not quite the same which makes them different enough to feel unique but similar enough to bring up the same emotions.

Much of the similarity between these two are reflected through the titles themselves! Both are set in a realm of magic, within a (very Hogwarts-y) magical institute, and the young female leads are incredibly similar 'happy witches'. The central trio of best friends in both series are also alike. Little Witch is the lighter of the two with some great and endearing comedic moments. And, due to its short length, it does not get as much exploration of the characters or the world (both of which are utterly fascinating) as Mahou Shoujo-tai, or Tweeny Witches. At 20 episode, the latter does very well in that  read more
