In the year 220X, the world has advanced toward radio-wave technology, and the world is connected through the Wave Road. Meet Subaru Hoshikawa, a fifth-grade student who lost his father in a space accident. Subaru meets an extraterrestrial radio-wave being named War-Rock, descending from a distant FM planet. War-Rock claims to know about Subaru's father, but many alien beings are after War-Rock. megaman starforce is an a very underappreciated, and often criticized, series among megaman fans. many call it a battle network clone, or state that it has a poor plot/development as a whole.

however, i respectfully disagree - moreover, i'm going to review the anime adaptation of the first game. although i have a different approach to this series, being an avid fan of its characters, i really do suggest playing the game before watching the anime. the game is far more enjoyable.

but with that out of the way, here's my initial take on the starforce anime:

character: as far as character development goes, the anime read more

It's too damn short and too damn mediocre to do the games justice. Rockman.exe/Mega Man NT Warrior took its time to develop all of the side characters and villains and added new and interesting plotlines and reveled in the fact that it was mostly a lighter adaptation because it knew that simply trying to one for one translate a video game to a non-interactive medium can't work very well but at the same time it never strayed too far from the source material. It may not have been the best of media based on video games but it was entertaining at the very least and read more

Ah yes, Megaman Starforce, the most underrated and underapreciated Megaman series, many hated it due to not being a lot like BN or straight up not being a lot like Megaman, but i feel that beyond that, you get a good or sometimes great RPG experience. and it might be controversial but i preffer the story and the world over Battle Network OR Classic Megaman for that matter, atleast Dr Light didn't cause humanity's destruction and we get Cool Aliens in return, some of my favourites alongside the Metarex from Sonic, but changing topics, somewhere in the late 2000's, the series had it's own Anime, read more

My rule always says to give a anime series at least 4 episodes before you can truly decide if a anime is good, meh, or bad. I gave this one 11 episodes before I straight out dropped it and this is coming from someone who has fully watched the Rockman.EXE series.

I felt like Ryuusei no Rockman lost it's touch in the Rockman franchise as well as what made Rockman good to being with. Poorly design with a promising new beinging but producers failed to deliver it.

Skip this anime if you are expecting something close to Rockman.EXE series because its completely different with a series read more
