The main heroines wield a sword and have fire powers which they use to take care of supernatural creatures.
report Recommended by Canal
The main characters (Hei and Kazuma) are both contractors and the others also have some extra-ordinary powers which other people don't have. Than we also have the detective/police woman, in Darker than BLACK Misaki and in Kaze no Stigma Kirika. I think that Kaze no Stigma contains some more humour than Darker than BLACK but I enjoyed both of this series very much. Somehow I saw some things that were alike so I wanted to do this recommendation..
report Recommended by Erisu
Both have strong willed female characters and alloof male characters, not wanting to have a part in the matters until they are forced to. Elements and swords are also involved, not to mention action scenes.
report Recommended by Yemi_Hikari
Because of Kazuma and Ayano. Their relationship is similar to those of Chidori and Sosuke. And their both funny. But, their difference is that, FMP uses military theme while Kaze no Stigma uses magic theme.
report Recommended by soupy197
The art is similar, and the plot involves people with special powers. The main girl uses a magical sword to fight and is always teasing and fighting with the main guy. The main guy had a painful childhood where he was despised and bullied by everyone, and also, he lost his first love. He also has a huge power inside him, and if that power stays out of control, he becomes evil. The symbol of that power is on his eyes.
report Recommended by Orulyon
The mains guys are both badasses ie extremely powerful both shows have magical powers Differences Estetica has a huge amount of fanservice Stigma isnt really a harem
report Recommended by The_Anime_Sage
Both anime are about peaple whose job is to exorcise evil spirits, break curses etc. They also have a similar main male lead who is full of himself and rather irritating to those around him.
report Recommended by hajil
Both girls are a princess and a chiefs daughter. The guys are both older with no talent that are super badass when they get older their family ignores them and their dads totally disowns them when their little kids. Plus the two girls both have super cool fire swords and their families think their super talented but the guys still better then the girls somehow.
report Recommended by webking
Both main characters grow up having a tough child hood, which later in life makes them have a laid back/ calm attitude to stay out of trouble not to mention that both main characters are very intelligent. Both come off as being weak but are Very skilled in the art of fighting style/power. Also the story's include female characters that help out main protagonist in the story. Overall fighting a much bigger evil as the story progresses. Both deal with Magic/supernatural
report Recommended by Obeythealfa
In the series the male and female main characters share the same personalities. While Kaze no Stigma's main story is mostly based on magic and Kaichou wa Maid-Sama! School life I would say that these are two animes fans of one have to watch. Both Include * Romance * Same Chara Personalities * Same atmosphere at times Fans of one give the other a chance, Both are simply amazing animes. Give then both some time..
report Recommended by MonjaElisa
The main persons are very funny. In both anime are romantic, action, magicans and a lot more stuff. Ayano and Louise have the same reaction the one with fire the other one with explosions.
report Recommended by Trippley
Both anime are based on the supernatural and contain a very likable male lead. Both are high action, very high comedy, and have impeccable animation. Both also have a lot of in-depth backstory that draws the audience in.
report Recommended by CrimsonShocker
The main male characters certainly look a lot alike. They are both also protective of the people they care about. Both females are not weak; they show there strengths by defeating the enemies. There is a lot of fight scenes and cute romances in both.
report Recommended by SpursUp
Both series plays the idea of a superpower theme involving a strong, independent, and tough main male protagonist. Thus, in both series, the male protagonist meets a female protagonist and the two form a strange relationship. Both series deals with power of fire as a tool of destruction. Both series takes place at a school setting and involves action, drama, and comedy. While Code:Breaker lacks romance, it makes it up with its more variety of supporting characters.
report Recommended by Stark700
Both have a protagonist with a power in his eyes. Every episode the protagonist deals with supernatural things. The voice actors are the same for the main girl and the main boy in both animes.
report Recommended by Orulyon
Both have magic users. A badass main character. Loudmouth girl. Quiet boy sidekick. Fighting magical s#$%. And the main character has a girl in his life he couldn't protect!
report Recommended by gamerguy50
Train Heartnet the main character of black cat is very similar to kazuma of kaze no stigma, both have a black past and they are really strong in their worlds
report Recommended by TanisChile
There is a main guy who is a total badass in both who doesnt need to depend on anyone else because theyre CRAZY strong and theres romance in both of them
report Recommended by TryingWolf
They are both about clans and people with elemental superpowers in a contemporary urban setting. The difference is the main character of Flame of Recca is not as cool and collected as Kazuma, but a standard hot-blooded (literally) shounen protagonist.
report Recommended by Darklord_bg
Both shows are about people with magic in the modern world, those magic users fight against ayakashi/demons but often they are seen fighting against each other. Male MCs are pretty powerful but not a lot of people are aware of that. In both shows, the family/bloodline you are from decides how powerful you will be (almost every time), but the male MCs aren't affected by it and got/get strong in their own way.
report Recommended by iwsifakismag
Both are action/comedy anime that involve magic use for exorcisms.
report Recommended by forever_twelve
KHR like in Kaze no stigma has these nature powers like fire, water, thunder and others..i think that's pretty similar to both of those anime and both are super awesome anime to watch!
report Recommended by Sabine-chan
Both are about a group that fights against demons, and the female protagonist is a energetic schoolgirl while the male protagonist is a guy tormented by the memories of his past lover that died and that he couldn't protect. Ofc, many hints of romance between the protagonists.
report Recommended by Orulyon
Both of these series involve the characters having elemental super powers (such as fire, earth, wind and etc). The focus and plot line of both of these series are completely different but a different story with similar action may be a refreshing change. Both series also contain some romantic elements, although Tokyo Underground places more importance on this.
report Recommended by Crystal
The main characters are quite similar. They're both op, very intelligent, smug, selfish and laid back. And good looking. The two series also share a few elements, like action, comedy and fantasy.
report Recommended by Firesui
Magic and similar personalities. Im pretty sure that if you like one, you're gonna like the other aswell.

An exile returns more powerful than ever to tell his family that he was not pleased with the way he was treated.

- Both are set in a world that is quite normal on the first look (one is a bit more futuristic though) but involve supernatural occurrences, like magicians or people with abnormal powers. - Both male protagonists are badass. Touma with his Imagine Breaker and Kazuma with his affinity to fire
report Recommended by PirateKingz
the simmilarity is that no one likes him that there the black sheep and the other is hatted by everyone the difference one controls magic he other elements using magic and ones an orphan and the others been casted out
report Recommended by mleno
Both MCs are outcasted by those they trusted and then after become OP badasses.
report Recommended by Demonic_Nemesis
They have very similar atmospheres :) Ayano is just like Chidori.
report Recommended by imeia
They both have similarities that really hit me when I finished the show. The main character has issues with the main girl. Both have magic and rom-com moments. I think both are amazing and great and if you like one, you will most definitely like this one.
report Recommended by SenshiKishi
The MC of Kaze no stigma and Mo Fan have a very similar "Come up" and origin story. They were both considered to be trash at one point, but eventually worked their way towards being respected or at least noticed by those surrounding them. And of course, they both did so by being overpowered SOB's.
report Recommended by flex1178
these animes are so much alike the main characters are based on a gurl wit fire powers in bother than fall in love wit the main male character
report Recommended by LaosBoi4life
Why are these similar? Beyond the fighting there may not seem like anything in common, and yet both the main male protagonist and female protagonist are strong characters. There is also the implication of romance between the two along with fighting the fact things don't feel as if they would work out.
report Recommended by Yemi_Hikari
They really make me think of each other in terms of plot. OP adult guy protects school girl who is like his lover that he failed to protect. The main guy in both mess around a lot but know when to get serious. The main girl in Kaze no Stigma is more tsundere though.
report Recommended by Eyesofsnake
guy protecting a girl , even though they are figting all the time. the guy is from the tribe of wind like in both animes. also there are other tribes like fire and there it is. if you like this one , you'll like kaze no stigma too
report Recommended by Kagu89
Both anime have character development and then in-depth story lines. I personally consider Kaze No Stigma the better anime; however, they both have supernatural powers. In Kaze No Stigma, they use the four elements (Wind, Fire, Water and Earth), while in 07-Ghost, they use "runes." Both protagonists strive with their powers and both are trying to achieve a goal. Both have good sound tracks and are good anime! If you like one, you'll most likely like the other!
report Recommended by Sledgedude
-Both main character are overpowered. -Both anime have "magic powers" -Both anime have people who can be divided in two categories: normal people, and people with "magic powers" (Esper)

When i think about Recommendations for Blade and Soul this anime come to my mind; both have some sort of magic in it and both Protagonist has a dark past. If you liked Blade and Soul then i'm sure you will enjoy Kaze no Stigma.

Two rather serious ecchis with very powerful edgelords protecting their red-haired waifus.

This anime the hero is also female, some romance and fighting scene. It really good!
report Recommended by Hoshijiro
The couple of protagonists fight together, and deal with situations that demand the maximum from each one. Throughout history, the romance between them develops.
report Recommended by GuiSaika14
OP brown hair protagonists who have a tragic past.
report Recommended by GuiSaika14
Domineering male protagonist slowly becomes more powerful over time. There is female sidekick that traverses along with protagonist. Story is about revenge or things done in the past. Both shows need more recognition especially Shinchou Yuusha
report Recommended by Kareblis
Pros -Both animes MC are looked down in the beginning - There both OP -Both animes have the romance aspect Cons - Kaze no Stigma the mc is rather cast out than beaten up - Kaze no Stigma has no reason for revenge (but still good) my bad if this recomndations bad my first one lol
report Recommended by High_Sci
Both are urban fantasies that revolve around clans that draw supernatural powers from Kings (in "K", the kings are people, while in "Kaze no Stigma" the kings are spirits). Additionally, "Kaze no Stigma"'s first arc involving the main character getting framed for murder is used as the basis for the plot of "K"'s first season, and there's an arc late in both anime where normal people are granted powers via a mysterious network. The main characters are also quite similar: Kuroh===>Kazuma- Both are stoic, serious badasses with a dark past who are more than willing to kill when the situation calls for it. They also have  read more

-Both have a male lead character with special powers and bright blue eyes -Both male leads are considered outcasts of their kind -The male lead is powerful, can be scary and has a dark or sad past. -But the male lead still has a kind and silly side -Both male leads have a younger brother sort of character that they feel protective over -The female leads both butt heads with the male lead, but still values their friendship -Both settings have elements of traditional Japanese homes, temples and traditions, along with more modern elements of Japanese culture. ==However i would recommend watching Noragami if you have already seen Kaze no Stigma..but  read more

Both funny magic animes, with plenty of everything: Humor, fighting, and a bit of romance and drama here and there. Watch them!
report Recommended by Zodia
Both characters are very strong/OP with a high IQ to out wit their opponent. Both have a laid back badass attitude. They have younger siblings who look up/ help the main protagonist in engagements. Of course these series have that Comedy/Fantasy/ Supernatural aspect to them.
report Recommended by Obeythealfa
Kaze no Stigma is very similar to Zetsuen no Tempest in the fact the main characters are not helpless, whiny, or annoying. In fact, they both act very mature and know how to handle themselves in most situations. This includes fights. The action in both shows are quality and the stories are unique and enjoyable. Last but not least both main characters are suffering from past trauma that has to do with their dead girl friend/wife.
report Recommended by jschultze961
-fantastic world building -watch the main characters grow physically and mentally -fantasy, but not over the top setting make them great once you get into them -they both take place in a world after a great disaster
report Recommended by BlackRing
i don't know why, but they seemed very alike one weak girl surrounded by at least one very powerful boy that protects her the main heroines are very alike both fantasy and demons involved, people living at shrines
report Recommended by mary_mikaele
There are 2 heroes on each anime : A boy and a girl, and there are a romance history for the 2 heroes. The boy on each anime is enjoyable, charismatic and have much power, if you loved the hero of Kaze No Stigma, you will love the hero of SAO. The same for the girls.
report Recommended by azer467
Both are magical action where random bad guys/creatures turns up, gets defeated and then moves on. also, both have elements of romance between the 2 main protagonists.

Both Shana and the main female lead have similar characteristics! Both have flaming swords! Both fall in love with the main male character if you like Kaze No Stima Your gonna love Shakugan No Shana
report Recommended by Black-Flash
80% action 20% romance give or take. Magic, strong heroes, epic battles, little to no fillers or what might be considered fillers are more like character development. Neither are super original, but both keep to well formed stories and character developments. That describes both series.
report Recommended by kazooparcel
The main protagonist. Hands down I love MC's who are confident and not assholes. Wise and mature. This is what really can move a story along. No simps here. Just CHECKMATES!
report Recommended by Shirt
Chidori really reminds me of Ayano. The thing is that Chidori is WAY more likeable than Ayano!

the romantic aspect and male leads for both of these are very similar. watching one reminds me of the other.
report Recommended by deadmetle
In both series are people with unusual skills who are fighting with dangerous enemies... and friends. Dramatic, but funny. Tears and laugh. Plots aren't similar. I mean Mai-HiME has better one. But both of them are interesting.
report Recommended by nettiex
If you like the 'One-Man Army' type of shows, then both Kaze no Stigma and/or Isekai no Seikishi Monogatari would definitely be worth seeing. Whilst Kaze deals with the supernatural, Isekai is heavily influenced by mecha. Each of the leading males have the power to not only move the show, but also their leading female counter-parts. If you've seen one, than I'd highly recommend watching the other!
report Recommended by Scrypt
both deals with demons and nature power.. in kaze no stigma it's fire and wind.. in Wagaya no Oinari-sama it's water and wood.. in short.. both anime has the same feeling to it..
report Recommended by yumiche
In both, a girl and one boy blood related (in KD, are siblings while in KNS are cousins) are from a village where there are clans with some sort of power. Also there are similarities in the plot: one of the main guys was mistreated and misjudged and later arrested/expelled. Also, he later comes back for revenge against those who mistreated him. In both in KD and KNS, the same boy knew a girl, fell in love but then something happened to her.
report Recommended by Orulyon
Ga-rei is more bloody and violent, while KNS is more romance, but the two share a plot of action/supernatural, where the main girl fights with a sword against evil spirits/demons.

episode 17 just caught my eye and make my think it was suzuka for a min or two. and they're both really good animes.

While seeing all these supernatural abilities, we somehow want to become closer to that kind of world. In Kaze no Stigma is exposed only the one side of it - the direct use of magic without a thought about how it was gained and how it is supposed to be used. But there is Rental Magica that not only focus on the supernatural, on the magic itself, but on explaining the things we don't know about it - how it is related to martial arts, what are the different kinds of magic (e.g. Celtic, Shinto, Solomon) that come from different places on Earth. Both main male protagonists try to change their life styles from dark merceless killers to caring and positive heroes, also the main female characters is very similar, both of them is very short tempered.

The main character, Kazuma, has an overconfident personality like that of Tooyama Kinji from Hidan no Aria. The main character's partner having respectable power as well as the ability to hide her true feelings.

If you like stories with a headstrong guy and tsundere girl who have to team up to fight for a cause then you will definitely like Princess Tutu! Don't let the theme about ballet confuse you! It gets really serious as you get deeper into the story! Both are really similar: **Romance, Comedy, Drama, Supernatural/Magical setting, unexpected love

Simply put, both of these anime have an extremely strong main character, Kanata/Kazuma who work together with stubborn red-haired tsudere to help them get stronger, Misora/Ayano. Though in Kuusen, Misora isn't the only female lead. Altogether, Kuusen Madoushi is like a newer version of Kaze no Stigma.
