Zombie Loan is as short as VVV is. like in VVV, the story is somewhat about a normal girl(Sumire>Michiru) with magic "curse" that allows her to do something special (Sumire is an anti-virus>Michiru can see the death). many people find her gift usefull and she is being forced to use her ability againts her will, in order to destroy evil creatures (viruses>zombies). also, lots of action and guns are in both animes. plus there's lots of shojo ai in ZL tooXDDDDD

Sumire drawing style is similar to Ichika and also both of them have a power that they don't want to use, but in the end they end up using them. Both of them have an unrequired love. Lucia is also similar to Manatsu in drawing style. Both of them have green hair tied in pig tails. They were already involved in the world of magic/viruses before the other girls arrive. Both of them have a deep bond with the other girl and both animes give you a yuri-ish feeling. However Venus Versus Virus is not really yuri while Uta Kata you will just have to wait  read more

Both are about people, who fights ith evil spirits. Both have two main heroins who were close for a long time(you even could find some yuri allusions) but became rivals because of influance of some evil supernatural being. In both begining of the story are 3 series, while 1 and 2 includes later developments

Both series have the main character as a part time worker at their organisation. Also both series are mainly about hunting viruses/ghosts.

These two are supernatural anime with fighting monsters, soft romance, and comedy. Both have protagonists with a powerful yellow eye hidden by an eye-patch. Also, some characters are orphans.

Demons and spirits. Both anime focuses on evil spirits. In Noragami, the evil spirits are known as "Phantoms" while in Venus Versus Virus, the evil spirits are known as "Virus". The quote "smells nice" was used in Noragami when one of the phantom communicates, especially in Venus Versus Virus when Sumire was in her berserker mode. The difference between Noragami & Venus Versus Virus is that the plot in Noragami is organized better than compared to Venus Versus Virus, especially when it comes to the animation. The animation in Noragami looks more pleasing to the eye than compared to Venus Versus Virus.

Despite being TOTALLY different point of views and feel in both titles (having Devil May Cry as the cool main guy with a mixed blood having to destroy demons and Venus Versus Virus with a mysterious girl that has the focus to fight against all 'Viruses', and the first show being very 'shounen-like' while the latter being a 'shoujo-ai' in comparison), the main characters of both shows (namely Dante and Lucia) share the same aim to protect humans from creature that threaten humanity and also have the grudge towards such 'monsters' because of their mysterious pasts. They both share similar supernatural vibes, and not forgetting  read more

Both anime involve a main character with a dual personality and with heightened abilities

Both are going about fighting agains demons/virusses. And The end is almost the same. And I also think that Lola looks like Azmaria. Not in the behaviour but in the role she is possesing. And that's with more people. Both series are beautiful.

Mushi-Uta kinda reminds me of Venus Versus Virus. The Virusses in VVV are replaced by Mushi's (bugs) in Mushi-Uta. Shiika kinda reminds me of Sumire, both the innocent and the types that don't wanna hurt other people, Rina reminds me of Lucia, a very strong girl who doesn't really show her feelings and also a leadertype. And than, the gun from Daisuke(Kakkou) and the guns from Lucia and Sumire. I think that you would like both animes, at least, I do!

Few characters are really similiar. For example, Sumire is very alike Karin, the both are different from other people because of their abilities, they are clumsy, but good girls - sometimes both loose control over their powers (Sumire at the beginning and Karing at the end). Also the two doll sisters from V vs V, Laila and Laura remind me of Anju, both in apperance (young lolita girls), Laila in behaviour (she's not talking much).

there are alike in a few ways, one there are groups trying to hunt monsters that kill people, two there are even more powerful people that make the monsters, and tree there is a character in each with a left eye that has a strange power because of a cures.

So Jeanne takes Sumire's place and the viruses' place is taken by the deamons who possess humans in order to take over the world and fill it with evil and sorow. you won't find lots of guns or action or shojo ai, but still if you liked VVV you may find KKJ cool as well:D!

Both have girl/girl relationships that can be vague ( especially in VVV ) and they have a bit of violence

The two main characters in both series are similiar. Sumire resembles Himeko, the clumsy, defencless, but working hard to protect their friend ones, Chikane and Lucia, the 'oneesama' characters - strong, hiding their own feelings to comfort others.
