Both series seem to have a similar type of the main character: a good-natured boy who used to be a loser and then, through difficult training, he starts getting stronger and gets new friends on the way. In both animes the main character and his friends go through series of battles, increasingly more difficult, and their defeated rivals later become their allies and come to help.

The main characters, Tsuna and Kenichi, started out as losers before meeting up with their eventual masters, Reborn and the Ryozanpaku dojo respectively. Both consist of fairly comical aspects of the daily lives and training methods of both characters, as well as a action side other storyline. Very often, both cahracters will also try to impress their love targets, Kyoko and Miu, often with the help of their masters. Eventually, both mains also start getting their own followers in the form of  the Vongola and Shinpaku, though it should be noted that neither are very fond of their roles as the leaders of their units.

IMO, KHR is much better though, in terms of likable characters and storyline. read more

Both have extreamly weak characters at the beggining of the show, but turn out to be badasses later on. Both have concept of being trained by "masters" who don't involve themselves much and are confident in the ability of their pupil. Both animes gather powerful allies to fight a gang/organization. Sub characters are also very enjoyable.

Hitman is very similar to Kenichi in the sense that there are "Masters" that dont get involved, and the character growth is similar as well. Also the surroundings are rather similar (Schools + area around the schools). On top of that, the character growth method is similar ~ Student gets trained by master, gets incredibly stronger each time. 

Not much more to say that that but, You should definitely check out Hitman if you liked Kenichi, and vice versa.

Both Kenichi & hitman have similar feeling, School setting, master disciple relationships etc. Kenichi is eechier & focused more on martial arts <.<

It is both about the same because it's started off with weaklings, like no-good tsuna and kenichi. Then someone trained them and become very strong, undergo different type of trainings and experience some real-life fights and both of them are very kind at heart. They both liked a girl, and even though the characteristics of the girl is different but treated them about the same, in short, they are about the same and rocks~!!

Both feature two hero's that are hesitant to take their role and start off as cowardly but eventually build to become stronger characters. 

Both feature a strong supporting cast of hero's and villains.

Both have very wise, humorous, and powerful teachers.

The protagonist must fight there way through each challenger.

Main characters in both series are depicted as a weak, good-natured, young boy. Throughout the series, both main characters become much stronger, gains more allies, leading those around them.

Both stories have an incredibly weak main character that becomes stronger throughout the story. Both characters have no friends and make them as they go. Both characters get stronger for the sake of their friends, and they have similar messages about doing what's right for the sake of others. Both have a lot of really good comedy and are a bit over the top at times.

Both are also adapted from manga series and only cover part, so I recommend reading both manga because the manga are actually a little better than the anime.

In both series, there are quite a lot of similarities:

The main male protagonist seems like a normal boy but is part of a family/organization that specializes in a dangerous profession/arts. They also seems to have a friendly relationship with a main female character from both series. 

In both series, there is a lot of funny dialogues, action, drama, and other events that transforms the main male protagonist from a normal boy to a more reliable character through his development.

I think they're both great! If you like twisted, pervy, weird and laughable characters, you have to watch these!
Hitman reborn is quite lame at the beginning, but it's still important to watch to get a sense of the different characters (a bond/connection if you prefer) and knowledge about how the group meet and hook up.
I've watched it twice and I'm sure I'll be watching it again next year maybe :D

Both main characters have look very similar and have very similar personalities in addition both anime shows are very hilarious while having their serious moments.  The supporting casts for both shows also contribute similarly to their respective anime.

Despite differing by the main genre which lead both stories i feel to say that Katekyo Hitman Reborn and Eyeshield21 do share similar traits:
- we first see the main male character (Tsuna from KHR and Sena from E21) as weak, coward and easily afraid by stuff - but later, with time, he learns to be strong and to not run away in order to protect his friends and dreams.
- then, the amazing characters around the protagonist are very well developed in personality & design in both series
I'm surely aware of the fact that who might like sports anime may not like super power genre anime or viceversa, but somehow they show certain epic characters and rythm that makes me tell you that i strong recommend both series :3 read more

Eyeshield is an sports anime?? WTH Shoryuuken. Both of these anime the main character is weak, failure and become stronger, Tsuna with a pill, Sena by himself. They also both have stellar character depth and devolpment.

To be honest, when I first saw Sena, I immediately thought of Tsuna in Reborn.  Both are extremely cowardly, get strong when protecting their friends, and even look alike.  Both of em have spikey hair too. :)  anyways both show a strong mentality toward achieving certain goals together with friends and family.  Only difference is one's American Football and the other's a Mafia.

After watching the first couple episodes of Eyeshield 21, I started thinking. Sena reminds me of Tsuna a LOT. They both look very similar, their names even sound similar, they are/were both always picked on, they both are very timid, they're not particularly good at anything, they are both very blessed with skills but don't realize it, they both improve as the story moves along, and they are both considered "aces", the best among their friends as they fight their way to the top so they can fulfill their dreams. 
The stories are also started in very similar ways. Sena and Tsuna are both timid losers who get picked on all the time, until they are taken out of that dark hole by people who are seemingly violent. Gradually, they meet friends along their journey and they all grow and fight together. They face tough opponents, but they always believe in each other and everything turns out ok.
The main ideas of both stories are completely different, one being about the mafia and the other about football, but they both have the same hidden, or completely obvious, meanings in them. Both the stories surround friends that have fun, fight, and win and lose together. 
Alright... enough of the serious... these anime are both freaking AMAZING and you have to watch them!!!  read more

If u liked KHR u will love Eyeshiel 21.Both main characters are simmilar Tsuna(KHR) and Sena from Eyeshield 21. They start as weakling and a no good at all charackters. They both are getting dragged into a world where there are good at.

Both Tsuna and Sena are victim of bullying and have no friends. They both have a female character that supports them. They are have a talent (or in this case a family business) that they are being pressured to do and after some time, they like it. Later, they get more friends and love the things that they are doing.

- Both heirs to their respective families, Nura Rikuo and Sawada Tsunayoshi are expected to take up the mantle as their next respective heads, and both are trying to evade their fate.
- Both have their respective cool transformations (Yoru Rikuo and HDWM Tsuna, respectively)
- Both have their own entourage (Nura Clan and Vongola Family)

Differences
- Tsuna's still denying it, while Rikuo accepted his role with a bang after the first few episodes
- Tsuna only found out about being boss at the first episode, while Rikuo lived with yokai all his life
- Tsuna seems detached from his HDWM, and isn't as cool when he's normal, while Rikuo tends to be badass even when not in Yoru Rikuo form read more

They both have protagonists who deny the position that they are supposed to take, and they both "turn cool" all of a sudden when they fight. For Tsuna it's his Hyper Dying Will mode and his denial of being the 10th Vongola boss. For Rikuo it's his yokai form and his denial of becoming the next yokai leader.

Both maincharacter are to be the next head of a family, for Tsuna that's a Mafia Family and for Rikua a Demon Family.

Young main character first doesn't want to accept his fate as an heir to a clan (in this case, Mafia, but a family nonetheless?) but as he makes friends he wishes to protect, he relies on his newfound powers to fight off powerful enemies. Both have servants that are willing to die to protect them and in both there are clashes of powerful families against each other or also fights within the family.

Nuraihyon and Reborn both deals with powerful families with a rich backgrounds. At the center of it is a young boy who serves as the main male protagonist of other series.

Both series' main male protagonist possesses special abilities after they undergo a transformation gaining powers. They use that power to fight what they believe in. However at many stances, he doesn't seem to embrace his role as an heir to his clan/family. 

Both series contains a lot of action in the style of shounen fights. There are also organizations/groups that serves as adversaries. The main male protagonist also has many friends and harbors affections towards one of them. There is also a lot of comedy and some history regarding some of the supporting characters. read more

They are both about a boy, that has to become the leader of a group. There is a little difference Nurarihyon is about demons, and Katekyo is about mafia. Both the boys don't want to be the leader at first, but later they want to, to protect their friends

They are really similar. Both protagonists are kind of shit in the beginning - they don't have much of a power and they don't accept the role they have in their families (in the case of Tsuna from KHR, he doesn't want to be the judaime vongola boss -  a mafia family; and in the case of Nura, he doesn't want to be the sandaime nurarihyon - the supreme commander of youkais). After a while, both protagonists become stronger and they start to build their family (people/youkais that are loyal and fight for them). Also, both protagonists suffer a kind of prejudice and antagonism from other people of the family/clan, but with time they start to get their respect. Another thing, both beginnings are kind of slow, so you have to be pretty pacient to watch it all, but it is worthy =) read more

Both are Shounen Jump anime with a male protagonist who wants to live a normal life, but is  born into a family of mafia(Although in Nura, it's demon Yakuza)and is pressured into taking over as the current heir. The protagonist is powerless for the most part, but under certain conditions, becomes strong.

Tsuna and Midoriya are eerily similar. One day they encounter someone who changes their world forever.
The mains of both of these series start out as extremely timid, and have little to no faith in their own strengths. Through the help of their mentors and friends, they are able to unlock their true potential.
Reborn gives Tsuna the ability to go into the hyper death flame mode, while All Might gives Midoriya his powers of All for One.

If you like Boku no Hero Academia, then you're probably going to like Katekyo Hitman Reborn as well. Here are the similarities of these series:

The main characters of these anime have similar stories but completely different personalities. In Reborn Tsuna starts off being a nobody with no power just like Deku and we watch as they climb the metaphorical ladder and grow stronger. The main difference being Deku wants to become the symbol of peace while Tsuna wants nothing to do with becoming a mafia boss.

In hitman reborn the mc starts of wimpy and scared but as the show continues the mc becomes better and more fun to watch.The first 20 eps would be filler but dont drop it.The eps are shown so we can understand the relationship between the characters more.

Hokage Is the Boss.
The main charactar start to be a lonely week drop-out, No-good, but as times flow they start to grow, and become stronger, Naruto Wants to become hokage, while Tsuna which is the main charactar in Reborn, is forced to become the Boss of the strongest mafia, Vongola. 

To become a Boss Is like becoming the Hokage, The Boss's responsibility is to protect his "family" and the hokages responsibility is to protect the village. 

Comedy is a big part in Naruto, and In Hitman Reborn too,

Tsuna is kinda like Naruto in the begining, a loser with no much talent, comedy is playing a big part and friendship too. Later does it became more serious and much more action and  both Tsuna and Naruto becomes very strong.

Katekyo hitman Reborn is very similar to Naruto in some ways. First is the main character. Tsuna and Naruto are both no-good at the start. Then some trainings are similar. Patience, determination and strenght are just a few. Try watching KHR to know more. Trust me, you'll love it! If not, comment me.

I have never thought that I will find any similarities in these animes (except that they are both long shounens). Those who watched Naruto and Naruto Shippuden will definitely like/love Katekyo Hitman Reborn! (but I can't promise the same if the opposite)...

Both Of The Characters:

-  Start to build their way up and develop their real personality and image from the very 0.  Naruto is a recluse, who never had any close or far frinds, because everyone is afraid to mix with him, because of his cursed mark and the rumours about beast, living inside the boy. On the other hand he is a complete looser,
who does something silly all the time, sometimes more than one silly thing at a time. He got used to living alone, and even though his new friends don't seem to like him much, that doesn't stop him for aiming to fight and achieve his goals. 
Tsuna doesn't have many friends and he is used to the live of a loner (loner, not lonely). Unlike Naruto, he has a family and couple of, well,  friendly classmates on his side, but he doesn't mind being alone at all.

- Have kind hearts, pretty much strong will when it comes to fight and definitely strong will when it comes to protect someone, and fight for justice and rescue the world.

- Are said to be leadrers. Naruto's dream is to become a Hokage and protect his friends and village, as a leader. Tsuna has to become a mafia Boss in addition to  protect his friends and family.

- Have to go through special training to gain enough experience. In addition of becoming stronger and fight for what they one day will achieve, you can see the character total transformation and how are they growing mentally and physically.

- Need to tame a *** beast.

In The Both Stories: 

- Elements like Earth, Wind, Mist, Wind, Fire, Water... are used by characters in their fighting techniques.This is adding an unique quality to each character's personality and inner power.

- The character chakra/flame has a form of an animal, which along with the elements describes their individual personality.

Their main characters (Naruto and Tsuna) start ridiculously weak and get really strong as time flows. They also have friends that help in the journey with their different powers. Both are mainstream shounen anime. Both give you a good time, but remember, friendship is always the most important thing! If you liked one, you will definitely like the other.

In both anime the main guy fights with fire. And also both main characters has a person that suports him and give him some advices in fights [for Tsuna it's the Arcobaleno Baby Reborn and for Natsu it's Happy the flying "cat"].
Also in Both Anime there is that "Powerfull" Person who wants to make something stronger, in Fairy Tail it's the Gilde and in Katekyo Hitman Reborn! it's the Family, and it doesn't even matter for him if it would take someones life.

oh and doesn't remind you the name Natsu of some ultra cute lion that doesn' really look like a lion? ;P

Fire, Ice, Thunder, Swords -  Laughter, Friendship, Family, Loyalty All of these are an essential part that represent each Anime. The difference are the characters and the situation. 

Plus they both have lovable cute characters, KHR!(Reborn, Lambo, I-pin)  and Happy ;) in Fairy Tail.

Both have partners which are babies and the main character always gets into some sort of trouble. When I watched Beelzebub, it reminds me of Katekyo Hitman reborn in every aspect and vice versa.

As i was watching the show for the first time i immediately thought ti was a rip off of Katekyo Hitman Reborn! give or take the situation. you could also say that the responsibilities being pushed onto someone without wanting them is the same to. in both anime the humor is good but in Beelzebub it is allot better in my opinion. the biggest similarity though is with the baby characters in both (Lambo & Beel) i.e. also the electricity thing mostly, i think the idea was stolen.

In both series, the main male protagonist has a 'partner' of sorts and they have a rather strange relationship. However, they do care about one and the other in various episodes as they deal with various conflicts. The main male protagonist holds responsibilities for their 'partner'. 

Both series has a lot of humor and takes place in a high school life. They both also contain a  large character cast with characters of different personalities. 

There's plenty of action, drama, and humor especially involved in the words used in various dialogues.

First off, these two animes are both extremely adorable and fun to watch. They are both action animes and are hilarious. They also both focus on a boy and a baby. The main characters are both "chosen" to be the main protagonist because of strength or in tsunas case family. They are both well written animes that deserved to be watch. I'm telling you they are exactly the same!! I just enjoyed Beezlebub a lot more. In reborn theres MUCH more action, but very dragged on! So, you choose!

well, both are based on Shounen Jump Manga series. it's the switching between random comedy and some action based plot without difficulty that somehow gives these shows a similar feel. Also, a main chast of charas are introduced and make (random) apperances now and then...overall randomness level is higher in Gintama though.

Both series have a wonderful cast of characters that becomes more colorful and developed as the series goes on. Each title has their own unique set of arcs filled with creative plots and antagonists who establish a sense of threat. Gintama and KHR may seem like ordinary shonen at first, but are enjoyable because of their innovative way of entertaining the audience through comical dialogue and serious battles.

My points as to why the shows are similar: 

1. Point 1: the main characters
2. Point 2: the humor
3. Point 3: the one-shot episodes

In more detail:

Point 1: the main characters
Both Tsuna and Gintoki are seen as useless main characters. However, both are really powerful. Tsuna seems more usless, however, as Gintoki is shown to be strong from the getko.

Point 2: both shows have a lot of humor in them.
Gintama's humor is DEFINITELY for a much older audience, however. Gintama's humor can  be very profane!

Point 3: the one-shot episodes
In Gintama some of the one-shots introduce different characters (there are hundreds of characters in Gintama; however, some of them appear more than others). It reminds me of Katekyo Hitman Reborn where the first 20 or so episodes merely introduce the main characters and develop the relationships they have with each other. 1) Both are long-term manga/animes with stories separated into arcs. Gintama's arcs are quick, terse, but are often very fulfilling and tear jerking at times. Katekyou Hitman Reborn, personally, has my favorite story, but there have only been 2 arcs, both of which take up long periods of time.
2) Both include a lot of comedy, action, epicness, but Gintama also does parodies. Gintama is the better comedy anime, but KHR is more epic.
3) Both are able to amass all of its genres perfectly at different times, at times making you laugh until your stomach flips over, or shed tears at certain arcs. And the best part of it all? Most of it is still very entertaining even after watching the entire series, or a certain arc over and over, but this accounts more to Gintama than Reborn, mostly because Gintama's main point is its amazing comedy and parody and even the Legendary Gintama TROLL&4th Wall Breaker, while Reborn focuses on character development, epic music, and a wonderful storyline. read more

The first 20 episodes of Reborn! are strongly comedic and then throughout, the air of comedy never really completely goes despite the anime becoming much more of an action show. Gintama is similar in this aspect as it balances humour with action as well as serious plot lines. Both can be as strange as each other too... in a good way! I highly recommend Gintama to Reborn! fans.

Both of them are long shounen series with the major themes of growth, friendship, teamwork, and loyalty. The main characters seem to be immature and irresponsible at first, but when the right time comes, they turn out to be badass. While one of them aspires to be the pirate king and collects crew mates, the other heads toward being a leader in an infamous branch of the mafia and increases the size of his "family." As more episodes go by, the series and characters grow to become more mature and serious; the series start off kind of slow and overly immature, but once they get going they are both really interesting and rather addictive. 

Whatever you do, don't overlook these anime series because of the fillers or the characters in the beginning!  read more

Both series involve the bonds of friendship, with One Piece involving the close relationships between the Strawhat crew while Katekyo Hitman Reborn! involving the close relationships between the Vongola 10. Within those both groups, the protagonists' friends are extremely loyal to their leaders.
Both main characters (Luffy and Tsuna) are extremely similar as they have the ambition to protect their friends.
Both have a vast amount of characters that have interesting and unique backgrounds.
Both series have a large amount of action and use of supernatural powers.

One piece is about pirates and KHR is about Mafia, kinda like that i sugest taht who ever liked one piece or Reborn to watch each other becouse the similiartys is the development wich i think KHR surpasses One Piece and for the respect and loyality that wich gaurdia or nakama as for the main protagonist wich they would follow the Boss/Captain to the end of the world if needed there are various differences but both contain awesome fights, good characters goodstory and awesome character development.

Both these series are really long series which are not repetitive nor boring in any way, and don´t have that much fillers. As I am not that much of a fan of long anime series, I must say both these series made it high into my favourites, D.Gray-man ranking first and Hitman Reborn second.  
And what´s similar between these two animes except for that they´re both interesting shonen? Firstly, they both can be serious and humorous at the same time, while KHR is more humorous, DGM is more serious, though the difference is small. Also, the artstyle - it has been a bit off to times (DGM case)/ bad at beggining (KHR case), but was outstanding for a shonen in the end. Then, the affection to fujoshi - Both of these animes have lots of bishonen to couple up.  xD read more

The themes of battle shounen are present in both Reborn and Hunter x Hunter. In fact, the main male protagonist is gifted with abilities and strives to use them to help his friends as well as achieving goals of himself. Along the way, he becomes stronger through battles against various adversaries.

There are themes of mafia involved in both series (although it's mainly part of Reborn and later in an arc of Hunter x Hunter). Among other factors though, there is tons of action and drama. Hunter x Hunter has more darker tones though but both series explores a journey for the main male protagonist involved in arcs that are touched upon.  read more

Both main characters are teens that started weak and grew stronger through training. Also both main character use spacial weapon.
Both have a father that is rarely home
Both character are sociable in one way or another, and get to know a lot of new friends on their journy.
The main character is placing his friends safety at top priority and will go through a lot of hardship to defend them, and the same goes for his friends who will do the same for them.
Both main characters have to fight and if they lose they learn from the expirience and train for next time.
In both anime the character develope their own power discovering a kind of "energy"  that involved in their power.
In both anime there is a weird mentor.

Don't judge this anime just by looking at the cover because thats what i did. This anime is action packed and there are many characters you will fall in love with. it does seem boring judging by the cover but Its so much fun to watch and i was sad when i came across episode 76 bc the anime would end!!! but i really recommend it!!! Now i'm addicted this this anime and characters now!!!

Long shounen anime filled with action, comedy, and plenty of similarities, both in style, characters, and plot.
In both, the male protagonists are normal students at the beginning, but pretty soon they gain a death-related super power in an almost identical manner (Ichigo becomes a Shinigami after being hit by Rukia/Tsuna gets his power after being shot in the head by Reborn).
Bleach is more on the supernatural side, while Reborn is about the mafia world.

Ueki no Housoku addpermalink

Just like Reborn!, it has great comedy plus action done right. If you liked Reborn due to the battles and different battle styles which always keep you guessing, you'll like The Law of Ueki. The battles in this series always keep you guessing and are never dull or the same thing over and over again like other Shounen series. Reborn! and Ueki are two of the best Shounens out there.

Naruto: Shippuuden addpermalink

Tsuna and Naruto are both no-good at the very start of both series. The hairstyles, I also noticed. But KHR has a more unique design for character hairstyles and a lot more humor comperd to Naruto Shippuuden.There may be times when the plot gets serious in Shippuuden and Reborn, but I actually understand serious terms in KHR more than in Naruto Shippuuden. I'm not saying Naruto Shippuuden is so bad, just try watching KHR to keep you busy while waiting for the next Naruto episode. Trust me, it'll get you hooked! Katekyo Hitman Reborn is very amusing and addictive.

Your daily life is filled with aliens (or alien-like beings)!?

Katekyo Hitman Reborn! and To Love-Ru both starts with two teenage boys who aren't achieving much in life, when an alien-being steps into their daily lives. This alien being (Lala/Reborn) creates a brand new hectic daily life for the boys, where an interesting cast of characters follow along from their introduction.

At the start, both shows main focus are the comedic aspects between the characters. After 20 or so episodes for both, the shows begin to introduce more serious story arcs, with character backgrounds, growth and stakes.
To Love-Ru, however, is also ecchi and harem, while Katekyo Hitman Reborn! is not.

The two main protagonists are very similar in personality and appearance. Rito (To Love-Ru) and Tsuna (Hitman Reborn!) are wimpy, yet ever so taking slow steps of growth.

Katekyo Hitman Reborn! and To Love-Ru are two Weekly Shounen Jump anime that follow a similar formula and sense of comedy. If you like one's formula, you may enjoy the other's as well. read more

You my think how are these two similar one has to due with boxing and extreme workout while the other also has to due with training but this one has powers. Well Hajime no Ippo and Katekyo Hitman Reborn are alike. Both main characters start as wimps like they are no good. The main characters work there way up from being weak to being strong and they never give up. They both go through extreme training and they may complain but in the end when they are in a tough spot they out of the blue find a way to win. Both are long running series but as of now Katekyo Hitman reborn has more episodes but I would recommend to watch them both. read more

The characters in both anime are illustrated by Amano Akira
Hibari and Kogami are similar to each other, with hair, looks, and some common personalities 
Tsuna and Akane are both somewhat alike in some strange point. Maybe by looks?I'm not sure though. But it still gives me a feeling that they're both alike. 
Makishima is like the love child of the KHR shipping, Mukuro and Byakuran, or similar to both of those characters.

Shounen anime both written by female authors, they bring two unqiue topics. Reborn! deals with mafias and Fullmetal Alchemist deals with alchemy. 

The main characters both are young teens, whose father is a "bigshot" however, they have yet to know, and later, they are both involved in a pre-determined conflict. The theme of "family" is given an important role in both along with a world that is darker than whatthe characters believe.

Reborn! has a lighter atmosphere, laid-back and has much more comedy whereas Fullmetal Alchemist world is darker, serious and deals with much more mature theme.

Both have people with magic/powers that could lead to disasters
They both have some kind of 'family' blood line (Vongola has the vongola blood line, magician blood etc)
Fate/Zero has more 'pairing' relationships, whereas Hitman Reborn has a lot more grouping.
Fate/Zero has 'Classes' and Hitman Reborn has 'Flames'
Overall, they're both great series, noting that Fate/Zero has a bit darker side to it.
(Personal opinion: All their openings and ending songs are really great)

Not only are they both made by Akira Amano, the stories are similar too.

A protagonist with (at the start) no friends and with little to no self confidence gets chosen to become part of a dangerous group (the Vongola Mafia group and the ElDLIVE space police).
Although they both are reluctant at first, they become stronger, make new friends they want to protect at all cost and in the end, discover this new change of living isn't as bad as they first thought.

Both series take a little bit time until the story becomes interesting (khr about 20 eps, ElDLIVE about 4), but they are both filled with nice action scenes and have a good amount of comedy.  read more

Katekyo Hitman Reborn portrays mafia, hitman, comedy, supernatural, and action in the story genre. While Phantom has the mafia/hitman quality, the series has almost little to no comedy with a huge amount drama/tragedy. I would only recommend the two if you are into the mafia type anime, even though both series are excellent!
Huge difference between the two series is the main characters. Tsuna from Katekyo Hitman Reborn appears weak and hopeless many times throughout the show. On the other hand Zwie from Phantom Requiem appears cool, strong, and cold-hearted = the perfect hitman.

Genre wise, they are highly different.
As much as Katekyo Hitman Reborn is a long shounen battle type with comedy and Danganronpa 3: Mirai-hen is a murder mystery action tragery, they are both set in almost the same setting/situation in their final season.
Ironically, Danganronpa has silently referenced Katekyo Hitman Reborn characters which has been a subject to some fanfiction especially with the main characters looking identical and both being pointed out as the embodiment of hope also having both heroine's the same first name.

Both these series are about a "hero" gaining power, starting out as weak and growing with a mentor who trains them up well to be able to progress in their passions at an adequate rate. (Not too fast, nor too slow). Both struggle with themselves and what they want to be. This case, it is Mafia, but the Mafia in this world is seen as good and protects people. 

Overall to me, it has a similar feel as well overeall besides just character personalities and progressions learning to use their power.

Bungou Stray Dogs and Katekyo Hitman Reborn both involves the protagonist having friends around him that will support him and always by his side no matter what happened, each also has an unique characteristics with special power related to it. 

Both of this series also shows the serious moment against the enemy and playful moment of the main character with his respective friends. And yeah, both of the series involve mafia.

I went straight for Bungou Stray Dogs after finishing Hitman Reborn and I'm quite satisfied with it. The order of sequence won't matter that much cause both of them are a great anime. Nevertheless, give it a try! read more

Both contain an outsider (Reborn and Sgt Keroro) coming into a Japanese family home, bonding with a young boy, and becoming a bona-fide part of the family. I find that the humor in the earlier seasons of Reborn! are also very similar to that of Sgt Frog.

Katekyo Hitman Reborn is similar to reborn, because both of the main characters that are left behind by hard working fathers, hates their fathers for never understanding them. This hate and carefree attitude makes them somewhat useless and unimaginative. Then they have to prepare for harsh times in their future. The reason you should watch reborn if you like boruto, is because it replaces the waste of time scenarios that boruto gives to you, and nearly 100 eps of filler. It has a better story, and is more paced and built into something that makes more sense.

While K is very pretty (And some watch it just for that reason), KHR started out as a gag manga, so not so much...
BUT!! Later on, the artist who works on KHR's manga does improve a lot, and so the anime gets a bit better looking.

Animation differences aside, K and KHR both have similar characters, themes, and if you've seen KHR first you might keep thinking to yourself, "Gosh! GORA must have seen Reborn!"
Well... It does seem that way, but it's kind of unlikely.
To spell it out simply for you, I'll make a little list.
KHR and K both revolve around Families/Factions/Gangs that sort of thing.
Both have color and attribute related abilities... I mean... HOMURA is just a bunch of Storm Flame users pretty much...
K has characters that seem similar to KHR's characters.  Especially in the case of Mikoto Suoh... And if you like Xanxus, you probably will like Suoh.
It's very hard to go into further detail on the similarities of both series without spoiling either of them... But I hope you'll catch why I'm recommending KHR to K fans once you start into the later seasons of KHR.

KHR is a lot longer than K, but it's worth watching.  Both series have made me laugh and cry, and I hope that if you look into KHR, you'll see why it's just as charming as K. read more

Here's some similarities Reborn! and Servamp share.

A lovable cast of colorful characters each with their own quirks and personality.
Bishounen overload~!
Tsuna and Mahiru are both weak in the beginning(Tsuna is more of a wimp though, while Mahiru can be quite brave) but realize what they have to do to become stronger for the sake of of their loved ones!
Both the cast of Reborn and Servamp have a close bond with each other and their friendship gives them strenght.
Licht and Hibari have almost the same personality(tough, cool, violent, quiet, keeps getting up and kicking butt no matter how wounded they get etc.) and even their appearence is very similar!
Also Licht's Servamp's animal form is a hedgehog while Hibari's box weapon is a hedgehog named Roll!

Overall, if you liked one i'm sure you'll like the other, though Servamp is more serious and violent than Reborn, they have some things in common. read more

The main character in both are quite self critical, but eventually realize through hardship and friendship that they are unique in their own way, in Hitman Reborn although he's less timid but he still ends up getting scared and beaten up (in a funny way) quite frequently similar to Mihashi

...Yea it may seem weird, but it actually gives the same feelings while watching. KHR, may take a little while, but keep watching it gets more interesting. KHR is just almost like a longer version of gangs and stuff like that...
You would eighther of them if you like gangs, mafia and stuff like that.

Well, Kuroshitsuji's idea is different from KHR but, they have similar characters. If you love Sebastian, you'll definitely love Mukuro, one of the hot guys from KHR. They both have the same hotness, smile and  both came from hell! 

Besides Sebastian and Mukuro, there are some other similar characters.
Such as, Lussuria 'n' Grell, they're both weird ,Toma 'n' Bell, they're both stupid princes, Chrome 'n' Ciel ...the same eye-patch lol.
BTW: They both start with the same letter.

These anime have similarities because both fight to overthrow an organization or a government and gain beastly power during the process. Katekyo Hitman Reborn is more comedic and has more variety of powers while Code Geass is a very serious anime and mainly focuses on the main character's power of the Geass.

They're not exactly alike seeing as to how one deals with magic and the other deals with the mafia. Actually, Katekyo Hitman Reborn does have something that can relate to magic - the dying will flames. Anyway, in both series, the protagonist is a boy who isn't very strong at all and is usually constantly protected by others (at first anyway). But when you're hoping something unexpected to happen to save the day, it usually happens with the cause being Tsuna/Itsuki. Both characters get pretty strong and it just looks really cool to watch. (Well, not really Tsuna at first per say, but later, yeah.)

Both KHR and Soul Eater has a group of main characters who are introduced one-by-one, and got together later because of some incidents. The main characters then encounter problems among themselves, and face-off with a common enemy. 
Both anime also has the 'work hard/fight for the sake of their friends' theme.

Whenever I watch Pandora Hearts, I feel like I'm watching some side story of Hitman Reborn! because the main characters in the two shows have almost identical personalities. Besides that, the art style is pretty similar.

Reborn has WAY stronger characters, though. Even if it's not as good as the manga.

Gungrave starts out with around 15 episodes of pure Mafia anime. It's a lot more serious and is more reallife like (Those starting episodes have close to none science fiction added. No fire shooting, magical animals, monster, you get the picture), but if you love mafia anime like KHR, you will love Gungrave.

Lag is a weak crybaby just like Tsunayoshi and at first Lag in some kind of way doesnt want to be a Letter bee.
Lag is a weak cry baby.
Lag haves hidden powers.
Lag grows stronger and stronger.
He wants to become a Head Bee just like Tsunayoshi wants to become stronger when hes weak to protect his friends.Lag wants to find hes friend Gauche.
So i highly reccomendtion this Anime if you like KHR!
Also Lag haves a partner just like Tsunayoshis Ring Powerr the Sky Lion or something i forget.
So all thoose parts are just like each other

The first 30 or so Reborn episodes are very similar to Sakamoto, they feature the same comedy involving high school, delinquents, characters everyone thinks as cool, playing games (like snow fights) with ridiculous twists, they both have nice characters, and even the music in Sakamoto is very similar to Reborn. The difference is that Reborn later gets a serious plot and turns into a battle shonen.

They are both interesting Shonen Jump series. Even though Reborn is a battle shonen and Kuroko no Basuke is sports, they give a similar feeling. In both there is a team of main characters, each of them is represented by a colour of the rainbow. And each character is unique and loveable.

Both have lots of good looking bishies :P The plots are very different, but you should find yourself getting sucked in the story and enjoying both, although KHR is a lot longer than VK.

KHR is clearly more of a shounen action story but the main characters are similar in that they both come form a place in life where they have nothing they truly love and feel like losers, but eventually find a passion and excel at in a fun and heartwarming way. Even though KHR may be pretty action based there are a lot of growing experiences and bonding incidents that remind me of the warm feeling you get watching ballroom .

Both anime are about mafia and secret organisations.
Gunslinger Girl takes place in Italy, in KHR there are a lot of references to Italy.
Awesome fights.

Gunslinger Girl is of course much more serious, but both are very touching.
