Selector and Fantatsista are both of the card game genre, but one of the ways they vary from the normal card game Anime is the fact the main characters are female. The main character is naïve and doesn't understand the rules for the game. Both series have wishes fulfilled for those playing. Irony is that while Fanasista is a more light fair, the reason for the wish fulfillment is darker in the fact who ever is granting the wishes happens to be after the main characters cards and is manipulating things. Selector is the darker series and the “goal” behind granting the wishes isn't revealed  read more

Well both main characters are young, a bit naive, and try to 'fit in' at school. However they both have enemies that can perform similar abilities as the main character can(ex, have dolls or guardian characters). Anyway, both protagonists have magical friends that help fighting off the bad guys that want to do harm. It's more or so a slice of life meets magical friends with colorful magical transformation. Synopsis: Shugo Chara: -Elementary student who is trying to discover who she is -She ends up having her 'charas' make her transform in order to fight off bad eggs -The student council at her school fights along -Romance is involved Fantasista Doll: -Main character  read more

Both use dolls to fight but in Fantasista doll it has a lighter plot while Machine-doll has a darker one. Both have really good drawing styles as well

- Main character is unexpectedly given a "tool" to participate in a battle game - That "tool" being girls that arent human a will fight others of their species - Project by government - Main character is very nice and will do whatever it takes to help their tools/girls Bascially Sekirei is the ecchi harem version and Fantasista Doll is the PG version where the main characters are young instead of college students like in Sekirei. Fantasista Doll is a lot more light-hearted as it was made for a younger audience.

Fate/Zero has some sort of spiritual/virtual figures made real which are called Servants, Fantasista Dolls have servants called Fantasista Dolls. Both anime has the character who handles their servants to be referred as "Master". Plus,in both anime, the servants can be called at will. Both anime has their servants fighting for their masters. The difference between them is that Fantasista Doll is more children friendly..

They have similar content, though the genres are different. It features a main character who is a card wielding user, and summons their Z/X or dolls to fight off other users. Once summon, they are either in a group, or singles, helping and protecting their card users. Fantasista Doll is a lighthearted show, where they uses dolls as fighting combatants and fight as a group. Z/X is somewhat dark, when a dimension is invading Earth and uses Z/X as their summons.

For recent series, the concept of a master holding a contract to other mediums never seems to fade. Fantasista Doll and Rozen Maiden (2013) are examples of this type of series as it revolves around a young protagonist getting involved with supernatural beings. They have a sort of contract with them while at the same time develop a relationship between them. There is humor in both series while also crosses towards the line of emotions occasionally. The setting also takes place in a school life setting where there's comedy and drama.

They have have Dolls in Fantasista Doll and PET in Rockman.EXE that is made from data. The PET/Dolls also fight with each other and uses CARDS in Fantasista Doll and CHIPS in Rockman.EXE to use a special attack. Uzume and her Dolls become really close friends like Netto and Rockman and both of them found real friends who helps them in difficult time.
