Synopsis

Teekyuu is all about the wacky antics of four schoolgirls—Kanae Shinjou gets bored easily and often breaks the laws of physics to get what she wants; Nasuno Takamiya is incredibly rich and knows how to make things go her way; Marimo Bandou would probably get arrested from her actions like eating panties or kidnapping children; and Yuri Oshimoto, their ordinary junior, rounds out the eccentric bunch that forms the sole members of their school's tennis club.

Despite their interest in learning the sport, the older girls prefer messing around, while Yuri, being the only one who actually knows how to play and the most mature in spite of being younger, has to deal with her seniors' out of control behavior.

When these four girls come together, insanity ensues in this lightning-paced comedy about a tennis club that doesn't really play tennis.

If you're smoking too much SHAFT anime and can't stand normal anime (e.g. non-SHAFT animes), watch Teekyuu. It's about a bunch of girls on crack playing tennis. The director's the same guy who did Ben-To and also did some episodes of TTGL. So you know it's gonna be absurd to the max.

And what does the show make you feel after you finish 12 episodes of greatness?

It's kind of like a gentle wind.
It's kind of like a delicious rice cake.
It's kind of like a clamorous city.
It's kind of like a precious everyday.

That's how awesome Teekyuu is. Smoke Teekyuu everyday, people.

Teekyuu is the low budget version of Tantei Opera Milky Holmes.

Plot :
There`s no plot, this is stupid and whacky at the same time but i like the Humor, nothing special.

Art :
2cute4me

Sound :
OP theme song sounds cute, the way they talk is way faster than Eminem Rapping.

Characters :
All the characters were on Drugs and they derp around everyday.

Enjoyment :
More Enjoyable to watch if you don`t use your brain while doing drugs.

Overall :
This anime is fun to watch if you want to waste your time.

This show plays like some semi-toxic concoction of sugar, speed, and caffeine. I imagine it will produce some adverse reactions in most, hence the low score.

You'll either be laughing from the sheer speed and absurdity that is crammed into every second of each 2~ minute episode, or your eyes will be narrowing as you exclaim "What is this I don't even...." while logging on to MAL in order to justly rate Teekyuu lower than every garbage harem anime.

On the other hand if you are capable of enjoying the ludicrous insanity (or keeping up with the subs), Teekyuu certainly doesn't have any shortage of it. read more

Since this is the first in the Teekyuu series. Im going to assume this is where you're going to lose your Teekyuu virginity. Just remember to have protection, like a football helmet and a t-shirt. But maybe you didn't start here. How do I know what your tastes are? Some people read the last page or chapter of a book first. Or don't eat the red ones last. Freaks right? However a show like this requires you to be some kind of freak in order to fully enjoy it.

Teekyuu is a strange show about... Tennis I guess? It has 12 episodes, each being exactly two read more
