First off, The story is kind of nuts. As I happen to like nuts, it didn't bother me. It is funny because of how outrageous it is. Some of the events are just ridiculous. Also, the way the episodes explore different attributes of the characters' personalities from what the main series did is intriguing.
This is a "what if" kind of miniseries. It provides an option to view what might happen given each character be placed in different, albeit exaggerated scenarios. And while some of the provided results are a bit skeptical to me, it makes for great entertainment (and in my opinion, even better eye-candy

This was a phenomenal little set of mini episodes. There isn't much to say about each one, but the humor was on point, and the story beats were pretty interesting. It felt like Yusuke's Bizarre Adventure, which was something I enjoyed. If there was more to this I prolly would give it a 10/10, but it's size really limits the storytelling. The voice actors REALLY went in, more so than many episodes in the series.
Things like this really are quite interesting to me, so potentially I'm biased, but it makes me want more Yu Yu Hakusho content, which really is far to little considering ... |
