both magical girl/ comedy/romance. they are both lots of fun and has serious moments/arcs too.

Shares the same style of silly fantasy parody. What Akazukin Chacha does to fairy tales, Mahoujin Guru Guru does to rpg's. Both have clever nonsense, and exude a very similar feel.

Both have a blonde female main character who transforms into a superhero magical girl in order to fight the bad guys, both female main characters are very silly, goofy, and funny. Both animes also deal with romance, and they both aired in the 90's.

Both movies have similar animation. And both seems very funny. Akazukin Chacha is based on fairy tales but Mahoujin Guruguru based on RPG. Very similar feels to eachothers.

Both about magical girls that were both made in the 90's they are very similiar to eachor due to the fact guys fight over both of the leading girls ,and they are amateurs at using magic also they have have mean girl characters that consider them rivals in love. What the big differences are is that Akazukin Chacha is more a light hearted, slap stick, fantasy adventure, story and Hime-Chan is more of a school, magic, love story.

The crazy slapstick comedy is very similar.

also from ribbon this anime's not as crazy but its comedy can definitely be enjoyed the kodocha fans. this anime also has great characters like kodocha, romance isn't in the same way but still juicy.

also if you watch akazukin cha cha you'll notice all the references to acc in kodomo no omocha
report Recommended by midori-
both involve magic + magic school + comedy + and a bit of romance.
akazukin cha cha is a brilliant comedy at times. Also ACC is lots of fun like zero no tsukaima.

both shows are aimed at kids but can be enjoyed by older audiences too, good characters, and both start off light and fluffy for the most part.

they are both comedy and are cute and funny. also great characters for both and both have a little bit of romance.
report Recommended by midori-
they're both comedy and cute too.

ACC has great characters too like Azumanga Daioh and this anime actually has way more characters but still almost every single one of them is still memorable and likeable. This anime's sense of humor is different to azumanga but I think azumanga fans will get it.

If you enjoyed the humor in love hina then you'll really appereciate this anime's sense of humor because it's a lot smarter (quite brilliant)

you'll laugh a lot and if you're worreid about akazukin cha cha being childish let me say it's just as if not less childish than love hina.

brilliant anime aimed towards children & dumb anime aimed towards adults/teenagers~
