Gokicha!!

Gokicha is trying to find her way in the world, but the world itself is against her.
She politely and gently clings to hope, while food and compassion always seem out of reach.

When humankind repeats its cycles of fear, hate and violence, it's the kinder souls like Gokicha who suffer the most.

Chaba, on the other hand, chooses to indulge in the chaos, and finds thrills in risk and danger. This feels like a coping mechanism.
Many choose to 'live fast and die young' when trapped in an environment that has been cruel to them.

This series explores hardship and tragedy, and forces the viewer to confront their own ... misconceptions.

It's not awful, and if you have 14–15 minutes to spare, you could watch it. A cute anime about cockroach girls and the struggle of being a roach, the plot is not very deep, nor are any characters, and I wouldn't say it's too funny. It doesn't take itself too seriously and if you're looking for something extraordinary, this is not it. Most would call it a waste of time, but it's not that unpleasant . Just okay. A plus is if I say the designs of the roach girls are pretty cute. The art- style isnt very unique, typical anime from the 2010s.

Exactly as expected, two roach girls in a city. All expectations met. It's not fantastical or heartwarming or breaking, it's short and sweet an I love that for it.

The animation would be ass for a story with substance, but it's just complex enough to get the point across and no more. In the end, the 4 I expected was actually a 5 but that's it.

There is no overarching story with a conclusion and all, and the substories immediately get repetitive at a point wherein the joke of cockroaches being beaten gets told again and again.

There is no sort of character development whatsoever, the story ventures ... no farther than establishing the traits to poke fun of and then doing so.

Ergo, I wouldn't recommend this to anyone, ever. It's not quite out of hate, there's simply not much to like past the designs. Perhaps a toddler would think it's funny for a good minute.
