DD Hokuto no Ken

"DD Hokuto no Ken" is a parody anime and I initially didn't want to watch it. However, since I've watched all the OVA episodes and movies, I decided to watch this to.

"DD" in the title stands for design deformation because all the characters are drawn in chibi style. I don't have any objections to the art style or animation. They are alright.

This is basically "Hokuto no Ken" parody mixed with slice of life. It's silly and over the top and doesn't take itself too seriously (atlhough some of the jokes, especially those concerning Souther and his dead master are of really poor taste) and it ... can make you smile a bit. It's honestly refreshing and only because it comes after hours upon hours of violence and tragedy. Do keep in mind that the anime parodies not only "Hokuto no Ken" series, but also elements of Japanese culture.

The episodes are really short and you can watch this whole thing in an hour.

If you are a fan of the series, this is some harmless, dumb fun and you won't regret it if you watch it, but others should avoid it. 6/10!
