C: The Money of Soul and Possibility Control

Both about the economy. ED sang by same person.  

Very similar in the sense that both series involve a group of people who are given money which they can use to help improve the future 

Similar type of argument, similar style. 

one guy goes into a whole world made up of money. of course, money can bring out the worst of people, so this guy has to do something about it. their both realistic in some sort of way in regards of how people will act with money around them. 

Both involve money and both have fluid animations. Also, characters are pitted against each other like a game. 

They have cellphones with money and it's a game, story is very different from eachother though. But both are thrilling and you want to know what happens next!  

Deal with some of our contemporary issues. While Eden of the East has a lighthearted comedic feel to it, C has a more serious, solemn tone. In both anime, their premises are based on some sort of competition between chosen individuals, in a tournament that somehow involves money. 

Gets lots of money, but doesn't use it how normal people would normally use, but get into the game. 

Both have the same theme which is money and it is used in a game like manner. The money is used to try to make the world a better place. 

Both revolve around the power and consequences of money 

Both are short series dealing with economics and "saving" Japan to some degree. Both main male characters are involved in a "game" that eventually affects those around them. Their futures are dependent upon these games. Money is power and success - and when you run out of it, your game is over. 

- A group of people get a lot of money, giving the future as collateral, in [c] are the future of themselves and, in Eden , it is the future of Japan. - By losing the lot, they could lose their lives , literally or metaphorically . -They have a struggle for power and of course , greed . Since their objectives are not the same. 

Both series heavily deal with money and how its use can cause a ripple effect into everyday lives. Both shows have a main character with similar ideals, though the shows make them play out in different ways. Both series deal with political intrigue on some level without a clear distinction of what is right and wrong. 

1) SETTING/BACKGROUND the settings of both series are undeniably similar. in both series there is some game involved to which the main character is forced into or exposed to, an alternative game or world that manages to influence society in the "normal" world. In Higashi no Eden's case it is the game and selecao system created by Mr.Outside and in C:'s case that is the eastern financial district. 2) CONCEPT both anime series discuss the importance of money. Although the subject is discussed more directly in C, the outlook on it is quite similar; the connection between the government, society and individuals and money and its influence on them is a rare topic in anime series which is why those who enjoyed Higashi no Eden's outlook on the subject may enjoy C as well. it is important to note the in both cases the subject is not the main focus and acts only as a motive or cause for the main plot, meaning that the series' main focus is an occurrence or conflict caused by money. 3) PERSONAL OPINION whilst this review made both series sound obnoxiously serious and boring, i can assure you that they're not. although both discuss serious topics they both delver it in a way which is not too heavy on the viewer which is why i think they are so similar. Both shows that deal with complex themes related to economics and politics. They both use speculative elements to explore these themes, with Higashi no Eden using a mystery-thriller approach and C: The Money of Soul using a more economical premise. Both shows feature well-developed characters and an engaging story that leaves a lot left to your imagination. 

Very similar story of entering another 'world' where you fight. Animation also seemed similar in style. 

Both anime has the same concept of escaping the reality to another imaginary world. In Accel World, the citizens of imaginary world become avatars, and they must fight each other to gain Burst Points (just like gaining money on C). 

The theme of fighting in another world with an avatar/partner is similar in both series. Action, drama, and fighting as well as romance are imminent between the main guy and girl.  

The main character in both series gains access to a different world. In this world he fights for advantages in the real life. Both main characters stop fighting for the real life advantages and instead focus on figuring out the secret behind this new world. C is considerably more serious than Accel World. Accel world is more or less a romance comedy with a VR twist. C, however, only has a tiny bit of romance and the main focus is on the plot rather than the characters. 

•both contain a ordinary boy who was invited to join 'a different world' which is completely separate to the real world, but the 'world' they were thrown into affects and determines the 'you' in the real world. •both protagonists have no idea what was to happen, and they find themselves forced to fight in the 'different world' to maintain there life back in the real world. •both animes show how much greed/determination/selfishness can lead to bad results. •both anime supporting casts differ completely around the main protagonist, which one is situated in a school, and the other in a university. •both contain a romance/action/angst •they are closely similar in which they are thrown into a 'different reality/world' and are forced to fight to benefit themselves in the real world, otherwise its game over in different senses.  read more 

These two animes involve two parralel worlds which have an impact on the real world. 

Both series involves battles in a parallell digital universe.  

Battles occur in alternate dimensions and the results affect the real world. 

Anti-social in the real world but a pro in the virtual realm, both series' main male protagonist makes a name of themselves in their perspective series. Both series adapts sci-fiction themes with a fantasy world setting. And in that world, there are wonders that defies the laws of nature. Although the main male protagonists' personalities contrasts a bit from each other, their spirit of fighting have a similar taste. They are also joined by companions including a main female protagonist with elite skills of her own. I recommend both series for fans of adventure and action packed drama.  

Jump into another world were you are given powers for the ultimate fight to see who is the strongest. 

Both shows involve the protagonist being introduced to a backlog world, in which contestants are forced to fight in order to maintain their ability to stay in the world (as well as the perks gained from it) 

Both tied around finances and Mikuni similar to Lawrence  

Different times and places, but both are about money. How financial gain (or loss) changes people; navigation through economics. 

Economics/ Guy + Girl pairing 

Both series contain supernatural themes with the main protagonist accompanied by a girl with gifts. Both series contain the theme of economics. Both series has comedy, drama, and also emotional moments.  

Shows that focus on various problem in the discipline of economics. C looks at some extreme cases where the entire world economy could collapse, whereas Spice & Wolf's entire show is based on market interactions, because our MC is a merchant. A word of warning though. Don't take the ideas in C too seriously, especially if you are an econ major.  

Both have a lot to do with the economy, inflation and things like that.  

Heavy economics themes - inflacion, currency exchange and so on. Both protagonist have non-human girl helper. While Spice and Wolf is a realistic medieval fantasy, C is more of a modern day sci-fi.

They both give out the same feeling. The main character made like a contract thing will a girl to protect.  

Both have characters introduced to an unknown world, they have great power, and join a side that they end up fighting. 

Similar Art Style, similar Story, Similar Character, main character in both show didn't want use their power to fight, the heroin in both show changed the main character's lfe and protected them, similar shit ending...... 

Both start with an interesting premise and have great visuals. But imo, both of them fall flat with unmemorable characters and a plot that doesn't seem to understand the rules of story progression that well. 

Both of them have similar character and personalities. Msyu=Inori Kimimaro=Shu Mikuni=Gai Q=Mana Both of them has a good story plot and battle scenes as well 

Conflict on how the society functions. Both main characters using the special powers they received to help/fix the problem in order for a better future. Mainly both stories follow through the saying, "The right to use my friends as a weapon, that is the sinful crown I shall adorn." Shu Ouma (Gulity Crown) 

Both theme is power, Yoga and Shu, both a timid boy, goes through a dramatic turn and becomes more "mature" and more "powerful" and saves the world. 

Every card has a unique character that can speak and battle with the master. 

Character in a Card that can talk and interact with the main character. If you win you gain money if you lose you can go bankrupt. 

Even though both settings have vast differences, the battle system boils down to characters commanding other characters. The aforementioned battles also take place in alternate realities 

Both anime feature battles that take place in an "alternate reality" that only a select few know about. People are required to partake and win battles for prizes and to "stay in the game". In C, if you lose and can no longer stay in the game, it is likely that you will die or something so bad will happen that you'll want to commit suicide. You don't lose your memories related to what happened, which in turn makes it all the more traumatic for losers. In Selector, you lose your memories related to the game. In addition to that, the wish of the selector becomes tainted into usually the opposite of what they want, which is similarly traumatic and near suicide-inducing as what happens to people who lose in C. Within both anime, features a relationship between a "player" and a "familiar" that the player owns/plays with/talks to. It just so happens that both anime feature tiny girls that appear to move in cards. read more 

Both animes a=have similar elements and a similar feel to them. They are basically about the protagonist fighting with an partner (avatar/asset) that lives in a card for something that they really want in another dimension. Their wins and losses affect the real world and we learn that losses have some terrible consequences. As the stories progress, they become darker. 

Wixoss and [C] both share a gamble of wishes and dreams: wishes that needed to come true and dreams that needed to be realized for the winner. Losing the game means the consequences of losing one's wishes and dreams, and more of what one could have hoped or thought for. 

Similar with the alternate / separate worlds and with the characters involved in the secondary world being coerced or forced into it. While inter-character conflict is the main focus from episode to episode, the over-arching theme is one of surviving within and fighting against the reality that they have found themselves a part of.  

Both protagonists are normal students thrust into another world with their lives on the line. The characters in Sword Art Online are trapped within the game, while those in C can freely transfer from the normal world to the Financial District. Moreover, the story focuses on fantasy, action, and romance as both protagonists have a female partner alongside them. 

Both are similar in that if you lose there are some real consequences to face. Both are visually appealing as well. 

It happens in the same type of universe,the virtual one,but this anime happens in a world where the money is the most important 

Both are AMAZING !!!! to be honest C: seems from the beginning a little bit Boring (1---->3ep) you dont even get it but then things change, this anime is dedicated to a genius ,SAO & C: are Similiar not about the world or romance in fact its about surviving its Awesome !!! as well for SAO(one is better than ...) on the other hand lets talk about the things arent similar about those animes : 1. - Interacting with/in an alternate world - Colourful designs - Gambling - Battles with lots of shiny beams - OP MC - Energetic and weird God character There's not as much fanservice in C as there is in NGNL though.  

The stories are about a guy and a girl participating in games/gamples. Everything in the stories are resolved through games and gambles. 

Gets involved in another world.. Life is on the line whenever they play games although it's more often in C: ... Both have partners.. Just watch it and you'll find out why I recommended this.. 

One is a heavy based isekai and the other is a light based isekai simply because the characters can go back and forth the real world and the alternate world. Both have the similar themes and tones. But in the short space of 11-12 eps, NGNL is superior but C could be on equal footing as NGNL if it were 24 eps (no joke). Both are fun to watch and of course, your typical OP MCs. C has slightly better writing than NGNL but both are exciting to watch. 

They both a game about futures. 

although the way the game is set up, they are still both about a survival compitition for dominance... while watching mirai nikki i got this feeling that it was reminding me of something and i finally realised it was C... both amazing animes 

After watching half way through this show I got a slight feeling that I had been here before and then it hit me, Mirai Nikki is just like C , both are strong psychological thrillers that personally left me wanting know what would happen next each and every episode and both kept me on edge wondering who would betray the main characters next and who could be trusted. In all honesty if you could keep up with intellectual demand of Mirai Nikki then you should be fine with C and maybe even seeing the twists before they happen. So if you liked Mirai Nikki then give C a go and vice versa.  read more 

Life is a game & like all games it has rules, to win the game you must play by the rules atleast  

both go though hard times while showing how they can get though wat come there way 

They are both short and dark, with no actual protagonists or antagonists, merely people with different ethics. The ethics in C are very interesting, especially to apply to other situations. Like in Puella Magi Madoka Magica, the combat isn't the primary concern, with C spending more time analysing the consequences. 

Both shows deal with the theme of how far one is willing to go for 'power.' While Madoka involves trading ones 'soul' for magical powers, C involves trading one's future for money 

Both shows a different world that could change the normal life. Besides, the action and a bit of drama in both series are truly similar, though i enjoy BRS much more than C 

Both dive deeper into different worlds that greatly relate or effect their reality. Great characters too!  

Both have great character development which involved different world that connected and affect the real world 

Both young male main characters with a female partner (asset) and they fight to protect those close to them and whats important. They struggle through their battles but show great potential and determination. 

Main characters are very similar, especially in their initial indecisiveness and the development of their relationship with the female lead. Overall, Assets = Servants, Entres = Masters, Holy Grail War battles = Financial District deals. The set-up is also very similar with the relationship between the protagonist and the antagonist with the main villain or anti-hero giving the hero his reason to fight. Also, both series eschew black-and-white morality for a more complicated battle between parties who each have reasonable and nuanced motivations and values.  

The life of a normal high school student is thrown upside down when he is given a girl of some sort to fight for him against people who have other people to fight for them. In C if he loses the fight he loses money and in Fate/stay night if he loses the fight he loses his life.  

Both these shows are very secretive and have somewhat of an undercover organization. Both of these undercover groups have great power and can change the world very easily. If you liked one, you'll like the other. 

Supernatural things with modern spice? Yeah both show are showing that, the difference is, C is more .. hmm what should i say .. "shit" 

Both are made by Tatsunoko Productions and this is shown by the similarities in the art direction and the use of CG. Both have a similar feel of being quite mysterious but you eventually learn about the powers as the shows progress. even though both shows are quite different in their premise, the fact is that if you like either one of these shows, you will like the other. 

They have the same atmosphere of fear and no-exit situation. Also they are expose an ordinary things kike prison or economy from fantastic sight. 

Similar darkish theme. Makes the human race seem petty. Have similar fighting scenes. 

Even having different stories, they focus so much on money, but Kaiji is darker and more mature than C.  

both talk a bout money 

Both anime are about cyberworld. The real world is in danger because of troubles in cyberspace and the main hero want fix it. 

Summer Wars is a more polished, less-money related version of C. Same deal - monsters fighting monsters in a virtual world. 

Similarities: *Both animes have two different worlds. In Persona 4 there is the normal world and the TV world. In C there is the normal world and the Financial District. *Both animes summon monsters using cards. In Persona 4 they are known as Personas, while in C they are known as Assets. Differences: *The overall moral in both stories are extremely different *The way each story progresses is different 

Characters who use devils to fight other people in matches. Main character starts out weak but gradually grows stronger 

Money plays a huge role in both animes. How it affects society, how it effects people, and what what could happen if it all went away. C is pretty much exclusively about money, but in Speed Grapher it is only prevalent in the villain. However both have a lot to say about money and society. 

there is a male who goes to an alternate world and has to fight. the female hero falls in love. the endings leave you with questions. 

I think both of these anime are similar. because in both the anime the characters duel by using creatures/monsters or of that kind. and both the protagonists give the same vibe.  

Well, to begin with, both anime feature a male main character. Their lives are both flipped completely once they become involved in a game. Along with this, the anime revolve around the theme of survival. Because of this, there are a good amount of battle scenes which feature a variety of demons.
