"Calpis" Hakkou Monogatari

My first reaction to this was just "what".
This is a short 2 minute long commercial kind of thing for a milk brand sold in Japan... I guess?
There is a little back story for it who and how discovered or made while later in it actually shows on a level of a 2nd grader so everyone can understand it. All this while a female voice is narrating what's going on.
I'm assuming it's only weird for us cause of the cultural difference, pretty sure in Japan this kind of advertisement is considered normal, but in the eyes of someone who lives in Europe it was rather weird and bad.

"Calpis" Hakkou Monogatari is like a tiny episode of How It’s Made but with some Japanese woman narrating instead of the soothing voice of Brooks Moore. Basically it shows a brief history of the company and a little insight into their process of making milk. At least I think they make milk. If they don’t make milk than absolutely nothing in the video makes any sense. It’s only two minutes long and it feels like five. The whole Rube Goldberg machine thing is neat, but it isn’t nearly enough to make it entertaining. There are better things to do than watch Calpis. For example, you could be watching How It’s Made.
